  1. We've got a 'Nole at QB... Why not steal their war chant, and lay over "let's go Buffalo". As long as the Native Americans don't mind, it might be whole lotta fun for the fans.
  2. A few day 1 posts have given Kolb the VERY early edge. At this point, however, anything can happen. Even TueI, may be threatening in a couple weeks. After two lost starting jobs, Kolb has the most to prove IMO. Experienced or not, EJ is still capable of "Kaepernicking" one for a 30 yard TD. -the kids got some serious racing tires. If it gets close down the stretch, that aspect of Manuel's game could nose Kolb out.
  3. No Fitz, No Gailey, No Wanny, Fierce competition, -Very little dead weight. Absolutlely brimming with optimism this TC.... Better things to do here than pick fights. If you stop menstruating long enough to see that, We'll be a better board. Sent from my five year old desktop using my f__ing fingers.
  4. You girls must be having a sleep-over or something. Anyway, here are the facts: TC is here, and I'm incredibly stoked. You ladies have fun trying on your big sister's clothes. Hasta, -#34fan
  5. Far better talent at WR than TJ Graham at this camp. Even if he makes the final 53, there's a good chance he won't see the light of day. TJ has a permanent case of the dropsies. Whats the point of being a speedy WR if you drop everything that's thrown to you?
  6. IG-NORE! Grats to yourself pal. -You finally made it.
  7. Oh Puh-lease. I fear your harsh judgement about as much as I fear kittens. If you like doing research, please research anything I've ever done to make you think I give two s__s about your opinions. -I'd wanna see that. In the meantime, you'll have to forgive me for not taking up a defensive posture every time you try to initiate a silly, unwarranted, cat fight. -Here's hoping you get a life sometime this century Buh-bye!
  8. I see Brad Smith as a QB. Period. I see TJ Graham as a huge liability. He's a kid that should be on a KR team. That's it. A team that realizes he will never fill the role they had in mind when they drafted him... A team that sees him as a relic from a failed regime. Thre truth is that I think brad Smith is a great athlete, and a great guy... I just don't think he's a natural receiver. All that said, part of me is glad they found some purpose for him.
  9. Fine, I guess... Seemed to me like he was crowding the field for the young recievers, but whatever. I see Brad Smith as a QB. Period. On the bright side, maybe this'll result in TJ Graham getting the boot.
  10. Your'e reading this wrong! I could only underline the word "bad" once on my keyboard, but next time I'll do it bold so you don't mistake it for the word "okay" My point was that as bad as Jim doing coke was, -It was the 80's... A time where you could see a fuzzy objective in doing lines, apart from the self destructive aspects. Worse case scenario, the guy had a problem. I simply cannot see the driving force behind any of Stevie's shenanigans. They make him look silly, and they hurt his team on the field. -I could understand it if he had a dependency... There's help for that. I get that you think it's just a shirt. However to me, It's the latest stitch in what appears to be a pattern of thoughtlesss behavior by Steve Johnson. -That's all I've got. The season's right around the corner, and we'll all get a chance to see how ready Stevie is to lead this young WR corp.
  11. I love that Avatar. -Took me a while to get it together but perhaps you're right. Fitz is gone, and I'll probably move on from it. As for the "retard" thing, they exist whether you find it socially acceptable or not.. (See TV show "Bait Car") -FWIW, I'd never use the word to describe, or make fun, of someone who was actually mentally retarded.
  12. Okay, part of me could have respected the shirt if the word f*#@ was spelled right. -But no, It belongs to Stevie so it must be written in ancient retard. Listen up apologists, 90% of the posters on this board support Steve Johnson... We're fans, for crying out loud. Is it asking too much for him to behave like a grownup every now and again? Jim Kelly liked his blow. -It's bad, and I'm sure he's not proud of it. However, In the 80's and 90's coke gave you access to the best parties, the most influential people and the hottest women. What has Stevie's silly behavior done for him, besides make it possible for fans to question his maturity.
  13. Valid point. However, the key here is leadership. As fans, we've put up with stunt after STUPID stunt fron Steve Johnson. -No, this one doesn't cost us fifteen yards, but it is yet another reason not to take the guy seriously. You can argue whether or not he's a legit #1 WR. But it's hard to call him a 'team leader" with crap like this floating around the internet. It just shows a guy who's incapable of good judgement. -Great example for the rooks Stevie!
  14. Good move. Puts the lolly-gaggers on notice. Produce on the field, or hit the road.
  15. Ditto. Hugely underrated talent if you asked me. I truly hope he does well in CLE. -I suspect we haven't heard the last of Namaan.
  16. Agree 100% on Graham. -I personally doubt he'll make the team this season at all. What he showed last season has "practice squad" written all over it. -And that's generous. Just another one of buddy's brain-farts if you asked me. Goodwin, has had zero pro games to get the nod either way. However, his flat speed, and ability to run through contact suggests he'll be better in the open flat, or coming out of the backfield. I don't see the type of hands that say "deep threat" to me. -Not yet. I'm looking at Kaufmann as a red-zone/deep guy, and Gragg as an all-purpose weapon. Hogan is a guy I'm rooting for also. I'm bracing myself for alot of picks, and tipped INT's. Pre-season will be ugly. However, young guys (in general) seek improvement sooner rather than later. I see this roster as a very fluid thing at the moment. There's a chance our best player hasn't even been picked up yet. Also, as a side-note, WR Brad Smith should go... I Love the guy as a Bill, but the experiment is over, and the results are inconclusive. The one thing I can see from space is that Brad Smith is not a natural reciever. I feel better with him as Backup QB, than crowding the field for these young receivers. Sorry, Brad. IMO, you're a casualty of Gailey's incompetence.
  17. I lean toward this conclusion as well. Rookie recievers have so much to get used to. -Pro routes... New QB... Game speed... Violence at the line of scrimmage. Few rooks can make the jump without struggling mightily. That said, there's something about this Kaufman kid thats not the same as the others. One of the things I've observed as being key to a reciever's success, is wanting the ball in the first place. From his first preseason game, I knew Victor Cruz would be a star because of how bad he wanted the rock in his hands. He simply refused to let anyone else catch it. -A pass that was off by a few degrees was no problem. Victor went up and got it. -Traffic? Also not a problem because Victor will fight you for it. Anquan definitely has the anytime, anyplace, mentality as well. Once that guy shows you his numbers, he's your best bet. Period. Brandon Kaufmann isn't lightning-fast, or great at running complex routes, but the kid wants the rock in his hands above all else. He was one of the few things that made watching EWU's lava-red turf bearable. It's been my observation that will power makes up for a multitiude of deficiencies. While Kaufmann has a ways to grow, I see possibilities in his game that are simply not present in most rookie wideouts. IF our WR corp proves to be impressive, I suspect BK will have a litle something to do with it.
  18. Oh hell yes! And the red socks too, dammit!
  19. Great post! They're all worth at least a look. The expectations are pretty much zero anyway. I like getting kids like this in camp to see who they can embarass. Worth an invite, -all of them.
  20. IMO, TJ Graham is a huge liability @ WR... I'm not worried because I'm confident he won't make the final roster. -Can't wait 'till the day he's cut.
  21. can't confirm those stats, but I can honestly say that Fitz was the worst I ever saw play... Actually, tied for worst with Jamarcus Russell. Fitz was awful in ways that defy description... Even more Horrific, was the playcalling of his HC/OC, -Chains Gailey. Those two were the living embodiments of heartbreak and failure for Bills nation. -If you're a Bills fan greiving for Gailey or Fitzpatrick, there's good odds you need a f__ing psychiatrist. OR, a racehorse... ...To be dragged behind.
  22. I agree with the OP here 100%... A patttern of immaturity, petttiness, and lack of focus is definitely emerging... I predict we're going to have ROOKIES on this team more mature, and focused, than Mario... Way down deep, I know that big money has taken a small intellect, and made it even smaller.. If all goes well, he'll finish this season with great numbers.... but someone, somewhere needs to shake his tree, and get him to grow the f___ up. -Seriously. I'd do it for a cool million... What's that ater taxes? -around 600 thou? -Hate to lowball you, but that's the figure I had in mnd.
  23. Duke Williams will open everyone's eyes about Jairus Byrd... This freakishly talented, and instinctivee rookie will have all of you Byrd-watchers screaming for Duke Nuke'em! If the little Byrdie doesn't fall in line, it loses it's job to this kid. He is for real... -The genuine article.
