A Very Sad Story About Darryl Talley
#34fan replied to norton20's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That was my first impulse too... Maybe DT needs another kind of help first. -Can't express how much this article BUMMED ME OUT. Love ya DT... I'm sure Billievers everywhere are pulling for you. -
What do we really know about Brian Hoyer ?
#34fan replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know his ass is grass come Sunday. -And our front four will be the lawnmower. Not saying we'll win the game outright, but we'll get Hoyer... ALOT. GO BILLS! -
We also need to focus on keeping the Schwartz. Lotta mofos may be losing their jobs on black monday... Don't think for a second that somebody hasn't got him in their sights...This guy has our D overachieving, IMWO. With Kiko back, it'll be open seaon on QB's. -And we'll bag the limit every time.
-
Oh, we disavowed those guys too. Drone strike them any time you feel like it.

As president of the TBD lunatic fringe, I'd like to distance our organization from the comments of this poster. We do not, and have never supported actions that are deliberately harmful to our beloved team. We at TBDLF would like to encourage this poster to seek the help he CLEARLY needs. GO BILLS! -And bring back Brandon Kaufman.

Despite all the coach-punching, and wife-beating you guys dredge up, someone was willing to take a chance on Tom Cable. Like it or not, that chance paid dividends in the form of a championship ring. -Nobody's perfect. Not even you self-righteous, hypocritical, frauds... I've hit a guy or two in my time. Not proud of it, but it made sense at the time... I'm satisfied I had the guts to do what I felt was necessary. -Even though it turned out to be the wrong thing. The best at anything walk the line... That suprbowl ring cost Gregg Williams... Pete Caroll needed happy athletes at USC... Bill Bellichick has been handy with a camera for YEARS... Meet the price of success sometimes people. The simple fact is you can't use a "good guy' in every situation. But hey, keep holding out for the choir-boys. -Fourteen years and counting, people.
-
The point is we didn't get anywhere near the type of production out of Lynch that Seattle got. He has blossomed as an athlete in their zone blocking system. My money is on that offensive unit getting stronger.
-
Yah. Ask, and I'll tell you that some idiot is misquoting me. Bortles threw for 223, and two TD's in his debut start. A promising performance for a rookie. -The following week the Jags played the Bolts in SD. I made the statement that if Bortles could put together a win in SD, he could be "well on his way to being something special". Well, the Jags lost. But that doesn't mean Bortles can't be special... Just like the fact that Cable couldn't survive Al Davis's weirdness doesn't mean he's a bad coach... Or can't have success elsewhere... Sure... #34fan is way off. -But way off can also mean way AHEAD. And I've actually gotten used to it. Tons of fools fought me on the board about Fitz and Chan being worthless. -I won that argument. A few knuckleheads told me that Russell Wilson was too short to play the position...LOL!.....Folks fought me on taking a QB in the '13 draft... -I didn't want one. I suggested that we go defense with the first pick. I also stated that if we did take one, EJ Manuel would be the best option. (I wasn't too crazy about Geno.) Oh, and since LAST season, I've been telling everyone here that Nate Hackett was trash. It's a pattern. When i suggested we get Tim Wright from Tampa, people booed. And Frank Reich just couldn't be our OC, because he was just a lowly QB coach LOL! Sooner or later all the prissy little cats will have to face your own bad judgment. Not only do I believe Tom Cable would make an excellent HC... I think the emotion he brings to the game is just what an organization like ours needs... I like his offensive lines... The Hawks losing center Max Unger was huge. Having a rookie RT doesn't make things any easier. I believe this unit will get stronger as the postseason draws closer... Cable's zone-blocking scheme has produced results in the form of a superbowl ring. What have we gotten from Marrone's offensive expertise?
-
Currently #1 rushing offense in the NFL -With a RB we couldn't develop and off-loaded... Last year all he did was get himself a big 'ol ring.
-
Ok, Ok, -don't everyone jump on board at once. -Lets take a minute and think this thing through... He's done an EXCELLENT job as an O-line coach for Seattle... If it's one area we DESPERATELY need help it's the o-line... Both coaching and recruiting... But wait... Tom Cable SUCKED as Raiders HC didn't he? Hm..Sorta, but not really.. In his final year as HC he swept a Charger team that went 13-3 the year before.. Under his watch, the Raiders rushing attack ranked in the top 10 in the NFL in 2007 (sixth) and 2008 (10th) behind his offensive lines. Unlike Doug Marrone, This is a guy with legitimate offensive credentials... if he'd take the job, I'd give it to him.

Week 12: Jets' Game Preparation - MNF in DET at 7 PM EST
#34fan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks for the great coverage! -Wonder if Marqueis Gray will play at all... He was a pretty good athlete in college... Orton needs all the targets he can get... SHORT, QUICK, THROWS should be the order of the day....You don't want Kyle thinking too long, or throwing too far. -He's a veteran version of EJ Manuel. -
Drill a well??? -Some of these QB's need a six-foot hole dug for them instead... -They're DONE, bro. I/R3 can't stay healthy, and can't shut the **** up when he is. -Terrible combination for a franchise struggling for relevancy. Cutler has grown into a spoiled little headcase with terrible mechanics, and piss-poor leadership skills. Sam Bradford should be booked for grand theft, as far as I'm concerned. Romo needs Demarco Murray more than Jerrah may be willing to admit. He's always been a second-tier QB IMO. Not many appetizing choices in your list, to be honest. -Still, I like how you're thinking! I truly feel our future franchise QB comes from a place no one expects, and will not be a product of any first round. It's coming people, but the right moves have to be made.

Ben Tate, LaGarrette Blount released
#34fan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We've had not-so-great fortune with GM's as well as coaches... One or the other is bad enough, but BOTH??? Too much to overcome. Lousy scouting, lousy drafting, terrible coaching and development... This team NEEDS to hire a consultant first and foremost. -Someone who KNOWS how a championship team is supposed to look, prepare, and perform at every level. I recommend John gruden, or Bill Cowher, but some here may disagree. I'll start a "HIRE A CONSULTANT" thread soon, if someone doesn't beat me to it. -

And an offensive staff that doesn't know the meaning of the phrase "Game Plan" Pegula should be OPENLY courting replacement HC's and OC's... Marrone and Hackett deserve to be publicly embarassed for their ineptitude. Hopefully Pegula wants to get it RIGHT this time. -Lure a big-name coach, who dosen't have time for excuses or losing... Some one who can actually gameplan... Develop talent... Plot a course, and maintain a vision. Marracket has failed epically in their mission. Time to move on, people. -
The clown coaches we employ can't draft, can't gameplan, can't develop talent, and CAN'T COACH.... There should have been a midseason firing so we can hit the ground running next year. Waiting until the offseason to make a change is only worth it if we have a decent shot at the playoffs this year. That doesn't seem to be the case. Fire Marracket NOW!
-
I give up on Marrackett. The Offensive staff MUST GO immediately.. Me, you, and everyone else on the board gave them a fair chance... With which they did NOTHING! These clowns need to GTF outta dodge before the FIRE MARRONE & HACKETT signs pop up at the Ralph. It's official. They both suck.

Who do you WANT as the Bills coach in 2015?
#34fan replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Say what you want, -He's a great offensive coordinator... He knows how to score... On and off the field, evidently. Can't be mad at a guy for that. -

Should the Pegulas clean house...
#34fan replied to Buffalo Beeeews's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't CLEAN the House. -GUT the Moth%#f!%r... Unhinge the doors. Tear down the walls. Dig out the floors. Empty it out like you're gonna flip that sumbitch for a nice chunk of change. I'm afraid it's the only way... (Oh, and red helmets in '15 please.) -

Up in the air whether Reich would leave SD to return to B-lo.. I always knew he would make a decent OC... Probabaly still needs another year in that capacity before he makes the transiton to HC... I wouldn't mind giving him his first shot at it, though. -
I think there's a fair chance we beat Denver... Not a GOOD chance, but a FAIR one. We're one of the few teams that can actually get to Peyton.... Force a fumble or two. For a first-ballot HOF'er he can't handle pressure well at all....The instant stuff starts going wrong, Manning folds like a picnic table. A win there won't surprise me......That much.

Offense is so predictable: Deion Summed it up perfectly.
#34fan replied to 1B4IDie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's a QB KILLER... -Destroys every single one he touches... from Lewis to Tuel to EJ to Kyle Orton... I've openly questioned, and criticized him since the end of last season, but Bills fans as complacent as some of us are, responded with -'give the guy a chance!', and 'it's just preseason!' and my personal favorite, 'This is his STRATEGY!' -LOL Well, what do you think now? By the way, he was also wrong about Brandon Kaufman... Really hurt that kid's chances of making another team. -JMO. And Marrone... Wow... the word "Dumb" comes to mind... REALLY dumb.... Dumb as a post.... Dumb beyond any hope of redemption. -
It might be time to get Jon Gruden's phone number.
#34fan replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
At least hire Gruden as a CONSULTANT or SOMETHING.... His Tampa Team won that SB with what I recall was a ridiculously high scoring defense. His Oakland team got BONED by Mr. Wonderful and the "Tuck" rule all those years ago. The guy KNOWS FOOTBALL... I'd like to hear what he has to say. -
^THIS..... right... f%$ing... here... The truth about this teams offensive direction came down to this one play... For me, it was the flea-flicker in Cleveland last year... Both blown plays, that were actually CRIES FOR HELP. Somebody, somewhere, please put Nate Hackett out of his misery... Some obscure college in Canada desperately needs an OC with Hackett's skill set. The guy is a bunch of fake bravado with no plan, and absolutely no method to his madness. I'm done with Marrackett. Brring on the Schwartz!
-
Two weeks to prepare. No Fred in the red-zone? Lukewarm Chemistry with receivers. Terrible ball security. Is this still a discussion? Out of decency this guy should resign.
