  1. Some of these look pretty good, actually. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Bills-agree-to-terms-with-13-undrafted-free-agents/304137c6-6a5a-44d9-b24e-df025ca0b54f
  2. Typical of Florida, really.... Genetics and all that... Some of the best natural athletes on the planet.
  3. The guy we SHOULD have invited was Rutgers QB GARY NOVA... The G-nats scooped him up instead... Wouldn't surprise me one bit if he passed Nassib on the depth chart...
  4. I've had many hours of fun watching jeff Tuel's o-line get him KILLED when he was at WASU. I laughed heartily at the thought of him playing in a bills uni... I'm not laughing anymore. -I have to admit there's a chance my expectations were too high... I don't think Tuel will ever be an elite QB in this leaugue. -However, we may not need him to be... You'll never get Drew Brees, or either Manning-Type play out of the Tuelster, but play your cards right, and you just MIGHT, MAYBE, get Trent Dilfer... If our D lives up to billing, that's all you need. Tuel's style fits a team with a solid D, and a good run-game...Nothing too fancy... I feel he needs to work on his ball security, but that's about it.. I give him te same chance as any of our other scrub QB's to make the team, and win the start... So, come on you big sissy-faced kid! get in there and compete!
  5. EJ needed a big TE... So did Orton, but for different reasons.. Sammy is a ferrari, and EJ was barely out of training wheels... Marrone and Hackett did things the exact WRONG way... Completely undermining EJ's development to the point that i don't know if he'll ever be viable as an NFL starting QB... .
  6. Yah, just what our roster needs another scrub QB! -They're gonna take up the whole bench if someone doesn't put a stop to this nonsense..
  7. D had better be a stone frickin' wall this year... 'Cuz it was pretty dang good lat year with our current corners/safeties... With a glut of chitty QB's on te roster, I KNOW I wouldn't have let Maxx Williams fall to the Ravens @ 55... i think it was a terrible mistake... Then again, I'm not a fan of taking corners high anyway... Gilmore was a 1st, and he's really helped our bottom line, has'nt he? Nothing against Darby (even though he has a tendency for faceguarding) I would never have taken him at 50. -No way. I would have MUCH rather move the chains with my stud TE... JMO
  8. Who's kid was she carrying? -IF it was Lael's, that alone gives him a financial motive to want her dead.. If it wasn't, was he angry that she was carrying someone else's kid?... I understand lawyering-up. I would've done the same thing.
  9. Always liked Alex. Excited to have him back on the roster.
  10. Thoughtful and level-headed for sure... However, similar posts have been made of the Jauron, Gailey, and Marrone regimes... People we now realize were utterly incompetent! I don't know about you, but I don't much fancy the sound of 20 years without a playoff berth... Maybe it's time to be more cynical, and critical of those calling the shots... That's where I'm at right now.. I thought the Darby pick was the wrong move... Maxx Williams @50 would've been a slight reach, but given his abilities, many wouldve understood. I can't see picking a CORNERBACK ahead of a scoring threat like Williams. He's not even my favorite TE, and I would've jumped on him... O'leary I like a whole lot... However, he's no Maxx Williams. Heck, we could've gotten BOTH of them, and still grabbed PJ Williams! -Ultimately, I have to accept the decisions made, but I don't have to like them... It's good to be able to speak out in forums like this one.
  11. A lackluster draft with the exception of O'leary and MAYBE Miller... I had PJ Williams as the better corner in my personal estimation. Sorry, but that's what i watched on NUMEROUS Saturdays... I am NO KIPER Jr. fan, but I agree that 50 was a little high for Darby.. I wished we would have done something else. -TE Maxx Williams was still on the board for crying out f___ loud! Ugh! -A weapon like that for a team that had QB and red-zone issues last year would have been awesome... Using lard to style your hair is no crime.... Missing the playoffs for 16 years in a row just might be..
  12. Straight from the Kype himself... http://espn.go.com/blog/buffalo-bills/post/_/id/18654/mel-kiper-grades-bills-draft-as-nfls-worst
  13. Less often when you're not looking... Denver uses size and strength at the WR and TE position to do whatever the hell they want offensively... it's an insurmountable mismatch... I'm personally afraid of what a kid like Jimmy Graham could do on a team like SEA... You think DB's who square off with Gronk in TC will have any trouble handling Nick O'leary? -I don't. We need another big guy, and NO, Dezmin Lewis doesn't count because he's not an NFL receiver, and has a very slim chance at ever becoming one, IMO.
  14. While your mouth is running, don't forget Frank Reich! Fred can coach my running backs ANYTIME... A tremendous asset we should try keep in house... 16 years and counting, people.
  15. And therein lies the problem... Somebody SHOULD be claiming he's Gronk or Graham... That's the size and dimensions that are currently helping teams win superbowls, or at least get to the postseason... Carolina doubled-down with Benjamin AND Funchess... Two big bodies with tremendous catch radii -That only means they're not completely ignorant to what WORKS. Well there you go! -Why didn't I see that?... Hitch our wagons to a 7th rounder, from a BFE school, that has no idea what an NFL route even looks like.. That's great! Let's just make it an even 20 years with no playoffs.
  16. If there's anything at all right with this team, Fred will be wearing a coaching polo next July... This is his last year, but we CANNOT let him leave this organization. No way.
  17. Niners snagged him, but I felt as though we should have taken Blake Bell... As a TE for sure, but he's also a more natural passer than Kaepernick... Could spell trouble if coaches see Bell throwing the rock around in TC... All Bell needs is a shot. he's definitely one of "those guys"
  18. Karlos MIGHT end up being useful, perhaps even good.... Still, I feel the Colts got our guy in JOSH ROBINSON. IMO, J-Rob is too instinctive, and plays too hard not to make somebody's 53.... this kid seals deals. behind a pro O-line, he'll be lethal.
  19. I remember reading an early scouting report that had O'leary at 6'2"5/8 and 248lbs... But I'll accept NFL's scouting report of him at 6'3" 252lbs with 29 and 1/4 inch arms and 9 and 1/4 inch hands... Rob Gronkowski is 6'6" 265lbs with 34 and 1/4 inch arms and 10 and 3/4 inch hands. Jimmy Graham is 6'7" 265lbs with 35 inch arms and 10 and 5/8 inch hands. If I were making a blueprint of an effective TE in today's NFL, it's NOT going to look like Nick O'leary... And I really like the kid alot! -Best pick of our entire draft IMO... Woulda been great to have a BIG WR or TE to pair him with... (6'4" or better) -Size and catch radius matter, unfortunately.
  20. I was explaining to the optimists of the board exactly who we drafted... -Outstanding special olympics catch, nevertheless. Yah, and what year was he taken? *sigh* -Kirby I can accept, but I know for a FACT that you're smarter than this.
  21. I remember reading an early scouting report that had O'leary at 6'2"5/8 and 248lbs... 22. LOL! -This kid has a shot, people, but it's a VERY long one IMO... He requires significant remedial coaching. Especially when it comes to running routes... Lewis is the RAWEST prospect we've taken in YEARS. Welcome to the PS kid! -IF your'e incredibly lucky.
  23. LOVE Nick O'leary, but he's severely undersized.. Shoulda gone bigger, IMO.... A VERY lackluster draft for a team that has not been to the playoffs in 15 years...
  24. D-grade draft for Bills Nation... The Jesters went big, and it's likely to pay dividends sooner rather than later... Smith doesn't know it yet, but he's already in a fight for that starting job, AND the locker-room. Patsoes are still top of the food chain, despite having an average draft.. Fins would be much scarier with Davante Parker IF they had an actual QB. -Jay Ajayi is the scariest weapon they've got BY FAR... Guy runs with reckless abandon and is an injury threat to anyone who tries to bring him down... Unless something magical happens, it's fourth-place finish for us, and one-and-done for Buddy's kid..
  25. Lewis has a shot, but it's a very long one IMO... He requires a significant amount of remedial coaching... Perfect 7th round pick for a draft riddled with blown opportunities and lousy decisions. Wonder who claims responsibility for this level of incompetence? Whaley? -Tpegs?
