this BETTER be over something serious, and not some Bulls#&t scape-goat decision... Can't cut Dareus for getting busted every year.... Can't keep your best players healthy.... Can't coach well enough to stop guys from jumping off sides.... Let's fire the fat kid.

Dak was the best QB that MSU program had in a LONG time.... Still, it was such a b#lls#&t offense that I thought he'd struggle with the pro game... At the present time, Dak is operating the Cowboys offense with an EASE and efficiency Romo fans should find ALARMING... There's no hesitation, no confusion, and not a single drop of waste... If you didn't know anything about the two QB's, you'd think Prescott was the starter...

Not as nice as Albert King's... I'm more of a Johnny Copeland fan myself, but it's a great song.

Cardale body language/ pocket presence very Jim Kelly??
#34fan replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kelly? LOL! Seriously though... His skill set favors a hurry-up offense..... He can run the K-gun, or 12 guage, or whatever you want to call it because he's not overthinking it.... Quick release... Very little wasted motion on his throws... Kid poured ALOT of energy into a typically boring point in the game.... Strikes me as the type that 'll find his OWN way with increased reps.... Jones with the 2's this week instead of Eeej..... Could make ole Dave Lee look like a QB coach after all.... -
Who helped and hurt their case tonight?

Eeeee.... I gotta differ on this one... I mean, just from a 'body of work' standpoint, there just ain't no way... Goodwin thought he was a track-star too, and how'd that work out?... At best, he could be considered a mid-range potential... That's IF he stays healthy... If he doesn't, he's completely out of the sport in two years... Unless the Argos, or Alouettes need a guy. Woods beats him hands down when it comes to production... In Goodwins case, that extends to talent by default. -

Likely to be some tough-going in that locker-room too. -

Seems a bit like fate, then... Make a move, Doug. -

You gotta give a man a chance to show what he's made of... If you don't, you're barely a man yourself... JMO. -

Could it be done?... The relationship between the two may be damaged beyond repair.... A second, a late round, plus a few space- eaters on the bench? I wouldn't mind... NOT Cardale , though. -
Who helped and hurt their case tonight?

Hankerson gives up his tablet tomorrow morning... Boykin stays at least another week.-He competes for balls in the air, and runs decent routes.... Powell is a fair return-man... O'Leary SEEMS to have bought some time... Seymour Butts didn't let alot get past him.... That Albright kid has heart, but he's GONE within the next couple weeks...Lotta TRASH out there late in the game...Gotta make room! -

All True... But, it's preseseason.... Let Striker have his chance anyway... At least then we'll get a better idea of what "situation" suits him best. -

He's a clean-shaven WOOKIE... That said, it's not worth getting him hurt... May need him soon. -

Kroy could be an OK stop-gap... I still say let the Striker have his chance. -
Cardale, New York. POPULATION: 6 Rough-cut diamond.... And yes, I could tell there were times when he had ZERO clue what was happening out there... It's what he did ANYWAY that I found shocking and exhilirating... -I haven't used those words about a bills QB in 25 years! In a REAL game we stay alive to win in OT... Let him run with two's next week, and see if he can change speeds....

Bills announce contract extension for Tyrod Taylor
#34fan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So no one else is concerned that this new-found wealth will change beloved Tyrod somehow? Handling success is harder for some people than dealing with failure... Tyrod has a peculiar personality... it's like you're not meeting him, but rather his personal representative... Who is Tyrod Taylor? Yes, I've had quite enough to drink.. Signing off now.. -
Next week with the 2's, then the 1's... Never mind the bullocks

Bills announce contract extension for Tyrod Taylor
#34fan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
1. I never said it would. 2. The structure as I understand it, has Tyrod making 9.5 mil for the rest of this season. (fair money, IMO) It also leaves the Bills the option to pick up the contract, (or not) in 2017, for 27.5 mil that season.... All well and good if Tyrod goes at least 11-5.... What concerns me, (among other things,) is what they'll see after another 8-win season where TT leads the league in half a dozen ambiguous passing stats. Wasting YEARS behind another stop-gap QB has been our pattern... Our cap situation loosens up in 2017, why not wait 'til then? -

Sure... At face value, what your'e saying sounds legit. Then you remember that the team we kept out of the postseason was a team our HC coached the year before... And their starting QB was one of our more infamous, and ploariziing cast-offs.... The other team you mention sits atop what is arguably the WORST division in pro football.... Even so, they don't even SNIFF the playoffs if the Colts have any semblance of an act together... Your statement, while true, was vacuum-packed and prepped for sale... I, for one, am not buying. -

This was the PERFECT year to test drive before buying.... In '16 TT will face the kind of defenses that will test his viability as a starter.. AZ, LA, SEA, CIN... Personally, I would've waited. -

So you're over-whelmed by a QB, who's been in the league 5 years winning 8 stinkin' starts, against mostly BAD teams? Wow.. I don't know what to say, -other than some may find your standards laughable... Mine aren't astronomical.... In fact if Tyrod had managed ONE signature win against significant competition... NYG, KC, NE, WAS, I'd feel safer in backing him 100%.... I thought in games when he could have really taken a step forward, and LED us to wins, he shrunk back... JMO. My opinion on Tyrod hasn't changed since day 1... Until he prove's me wrong, he is the best BACKUP in the NFL.. Sorry. I'm not as generous as the Pegulas. -

Deal seems incredibly short-sigted on somebody's part.... Not sure who's just yet... All I know is that i was totally under-whelmed by Tyrod's performance last season... Would've given him the job, of course, but I think it's a FAR better plan to let him EARN a big contract.. 'prove his worth', so to speak... If I had to bet on this deal working out, OR coming back to bite somebody in the rear, I know where my money'd be. -
Don't sleep on Glass Goodwin--making a good impression
#34fan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What, -get hurt an be out for a year? Whole lotta guys can do that. That's just it... I don't know if I care for this type of packaging when it comes to building a Roster... We won 9 games in 2014 with Kyle Orton, and ZERO contribution from Goodwin! -Who was our speed guy then? I say we get this D up to expectations, Find some reliable help for whoever's under center, and worry about drafting Emmanuel Sanders NEXT year... Simply put, I no longer see a place here for Marquise Goodwin. -

Hey, I'm not gonna do Whaley's job for him... I personally like what I see from Greg Little... That's the direction I'd be looking in... Still, If the guy I described isn't on our roster, then somebody needs to go find him... It's called vision... It's far more reliable than luck when it comes to team building. -

#34fan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Goodwin represents our high hopes being dashed against the reality of a playoffless future.... How about this... WE DON'T NEED A "super-speed guy" - Whatever that means... And assuming there were such a creature, wouldn't it have to PLAY at some point to defend it's namesake? Sammy's plenty fast isn't he? I get it... Some of you like the guy... He's fast.... I've said before, I have nothing against Goodwin... It just seems to me, that a healthier, bigger, target with a frame capable of an ocaisional run-block makes more sense... Thus far Goodwins promise of speed has had ZERO impact on this team's bottom line.
