Can we talk about the OL?
Westside Madness replied to Thurmal34's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I came here to eat scrambled eggs and see dumpster fire memes and I just finished my eggs... Seantrel is suspended for 5 games. Additionally, the last two weeks, he has shown that he should not be starting as LT. While he wasn't the only one, our pockets are collapsing before Taylor finishes his 3 step drop back. We need to bring in a body or two to help fill that position...unless Cordy is suddenly healed after the cortisone injection. I just don't see the point of giving reps at LT to someone who isn't skilled enough to hold that position AND will miss 33% of the season. -
Yeah, I just got the memo...lol. Must have had some pent up poster aggravation. Was going to delete it, but as it's been replied to, I will leave it. This post will stand as my retraction and apology. Carry on. 😀

I typically read and don't post, but since you seem to like to correct people's grammar while using incorrect grammar yourself, I figured I should bring it to light. 'Your' and 'Your'e' are both incorrect usage. At least 'Your' is applicable in other uses, unlike 'Your'e'. You were in such a hurry to correct a poster's grammar to feel better about yourself, you must have been so distracted that you missed that 'You're' is what you were looking to use.

Brady is immune to curses. His saving throw is like an 18. -
Watkins expected to play vs NE this week.
Westside Madness replied to ChanOverChin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In my opinion they are pushing him to play. He may play decoy and have a reduced target load. This is a conference and divsion game. They want all threats availble and I think they will gameplan away from him. Given that our next batch of opponents are seen as easier games, they may rest him then. It forces BB to consider him as one of his isolation targets. I expect him to get 4-5 targets with 2-3 catches (short), then miss 2 weeks to heal up. He will not be a big part of the game plan. I expect runs, mid range out routes to Woods, screens to McCoy, short outs to Watkins and a few crossing patterns for Clay. If we can push the line on runs, they will clock the game and bank on the defense. I dont see out ST having an opportunisitc day, but they must remain average at best. -
To be honest, the key to victory is quite simple. Forget where you are playing and who you are playing. Maintain the fervor we had last week and execute with the effectivness in all 3 phases of the game that we did last week. I think we lose to NE because we have lost to them for so long. Gillette is seen as the lions den. They need to stop and pretend they are playing the browns. Dont let the game seem too big. Just play football. And whomever gave the speech last week, give him a vodka/redbull and put him on a podium. We need to not overthink ourselves.

You develop a QB like any other position. TT has shown that he isnt a dumpster fire. He has shown that he can do all the things a 'good' QB can do. He needs to be more consistent and get better at reading defenses. That takes development. If he had a **** arm or horrible accuracy, thats another story.

He always seems overwhelmed by the camera. I'm sure he will get more comfortable over time. -
I stand corrected...lol. Thanks for the various links.

I believe we are being trolled. After about 90 min, this would be reported everywhere. Nothing on nfl.com, espn.com, twitter... While i sensed trolling, it still had me searching for a few min

Who will be reborn and suprise us??
Westside Madness replied to cage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
...football is coming... -
And on this note, I have been wondering....what if Fitz and Chan were kept and they brought in Pettine? I felt that if our defense could have been salvaged, that it alone would have helped every other aspect of our team including the offense. Especially with the tone/momentum our offense had at times.
-
Not to over simplify, but in my opinion the 2013 season comes down to one question: Can the Bills (with Pettine's new scheme) stop the run? If the answer is no, I see a record equal to or less than 2012. If the answer is yes, then options open up for discussion (can we put together an offense with similar potency as last years, etc). My fear is that yes, we will stop the run (and overall have a much better defense), but that offensively we slip a bit due to a new QB, new OC, etc. But I will be happy with a middle ranked defensive showing while our new offense gels... 7-9 anyone?

When we has Losman, I dreaded us having the ball...lol. Wanted our D on the field all the time... As of late, the games start on a positive note (early score or forcing an early 3 and out)...puts me on a high...only to be crash by the 2Q. -
Sanchez throws three picks in OTA, Rex not happy
Westside Madness replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sanchez didnt beat the Bills, hell for the last few years, he didnt even have to play. The Jets OL, RBs and D owned the bills. From what I have seen, if Sanchez has to play to win, he falters. Step 1, the Bills need to stop the run for the first time in a few years and force Sanchez to have to throw... -
Bills over/under win total
Westside Madness replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So, if we go 6-9-1, who wins? The over or the under? -
Not to be pessimistic, but an NFL players attitude and conduct is hard to gauge before the get their hands on $$. Once they have the money, their character flaws and strengths will reveal themselves.

Yeah, I actually sent a message to Mr. Walker when I read his headline. I voted that Kolb would be. If I was asked who I wanted, it would have been Manuel. Dont like how the poll gets twisted into something else.
