  1. This actually makes a lot of sense for the Browns. Considering the moves the Jets have made this offseason (signing McCown, trading up to 3) they are prepping for Allen. But because they have traded up as far as they have, they are locked in to taking a QB no matter who is left. Therefore, in order for the Browns to get Allen and Barkley, they need the Giants to put some skin in the game (i.e. trade some picks) to lock them into a QB and allow Browns to take Allen at 2 and Barkley at 4.
  2. I most definitely am.
  3. QB and Vita Vea/Roquan Smith/Tremaine Edwards
  4. We keep thinking that using the 12th pick is the most viable path to moving up. Why not use the 22nd pick? TB at 7 seems like a decent partner. The 22nd + both 2nds gets us just about there and if we could throw in the 4th to seal the deal.
  5. To confirm suspicions, I have smoked weed within the last 5 mins. THEY DIDN'T BREAK THE LONGEST PLAYOFF DROUGHT IN PROFESSIONAL AMERICAN SPORTS THE PREVIOUS YEAR EITHER.
  6. Let me break this down into two statements that if you agree with than my scenario and logic make sense. 1) Securing a top 3 QB is the Bills most important objective in the draft. 2) Saquan Barkley is the best player in the draft, a generational talent. Let's just say the Bills have to give up #12, #22, #56, and #65, how are the following scenarios not a win: Giants: Bills get #2, #34, Giants get Barkley. Both teams give up less than they have to and both get their guy. Colts: Bills get #3, #36, late round pick, Colts get Barkley. Bills get a top 2 QB, Colts get their guy for less. Browns: Bills get #4, #35, #65 back, Browns get Barkley, #96. Browns gain picks, Bills secure a top 3 QB and get some picks back.
  7. The scenario is the Bills trade up to #1 ASAP. Once there let the league know that your plan is to draft Barkley and that you're willing to trade him for the best offer. Similar to what the Chargers did in the Eli/Rivers trade. It would, hopefully, allow you to control the rest of the first round and recoup some of the picks made to move up.
  8. Would let Mathews walk this year and Benjamin walk next year, scoop up comp picks and move up in the draft after the QB position is fixed. No reason to throw money at the WR unless you can get an elite Calvin Johnson, AJ Green, or Julio Jones level-talent. Which we do not have access to. Would target Chark in Round 2 or first pick in Round 3.
  9. If you threw Josh McCown's name into the google machine, check out where it says he coached last year: Current team: New York Jets (#15 / Quarterback) School: Sam Houston State University Team coached: New York Jets (Player-coach, 2017–2017)
  10. Here are all of TB's UFAs, Evan Smith and Hawley being the most interesting: Doug Martin RB 29 TB TBD - T.J. Ward SS 31 TB TBD - Evan Smith C 31 TB TBD - Clinton McDonald DT 31 TB TBD - Joe Hawley C 29 TB TBD - Sealver Siliga DT 28 TB TBD - Keith Tandy FS 29 TB TBD - Garrison Sanborn LS 32 TB TBD - Justin Trattou DE 29 TB TBD - Adam Gettis G 29 TB TBD - Robert McClain CB 29 TB TBD - Charles Sims RB 27 TB TBD - Will Clarke DE 26 TB TBD - Jude Adjei-Barimah CB 25 TB TBD - Kevin Pamphile G 27 TB TBD - Patrick Murray K 26 TB TBD
  11. At this point I like Josh McCown and a rookie. Serviceable QB, actually into the idea of grooming a rookie.
  12. I think we should look to the draft for a WR like Chark in Rd 2. Letting Matthews walk this year and Benjamin the next will net some decent comp picks to move around over the next two drafts to take an elite WR, hopefully, after the QB situation is fixed.
  13. The Bills actually have better luck with Pats players... Milloy, Spikes.
  14. The only thing this thread proves is that people around here have no idea what the difference is between an "Analyst" and "Director of Analytics". My guess is that he's going to be building internal backend database applications and interfaces to manage data on prospects and FAs for the coaching staff and scouts. He will not be analyzing the results, he will be building algorithms to link data points and, possibly, weight them per coaches and staff recommendations but this will most likely be a warehouse for information and providing accessibility.
  15. I would guess ~40% of the team grew up in Florida.

  23. ROON can you share your thoughts on trading down?
  24. I feel like you didn't even read the topic and posted your work from another thread. Update: I'm right.
