  1. I think the female officer who pushed the vehicle into the other vehicles should be brought up on both criminal and departmental charges. As for the officers who shot the suspect.....no......They are exiting the vehicles and suddenly there is a van flying at them striking their vehicle and nearly them.....In the split second confusion and the angle they have they probably had no idea that the vehicle was being pushed by the other officers car.........all they see is a van flying at them. What the hell was she thinking ?? she endangered the lives of her fellow officers with her stupid actions. Its much like a situation where there are a group of officers engaging a suspect and suddenly one of the officers starts firing either panicking or thinking the suspect is armed or is about to fire on them.....the other officers in the heat of the moment are goin to start firing also. The same happens on the battlefield also............all it takes is one weak link to destroy what otherwise may have been a good chain
  2. It hasnt been pretty so far.....but its still preseason. No reason to hit the panic button since I only figured on 5-11 or 6-10 anyway........its gonna take a few good drafts to turn this completely around.......I'll be happy this season if we just make some strides on defense and the draft picks look like they will pan out.........at least it will show that the bad drafts are maybe a thing of the past and we can look to the future with some hope.
  3. Drunken brawls are one thing.....when lead starts flying.....not a good sign. Maybe the NFL should tone down the glorifying of the "FANatics" out there in Oakland. Stop playing up the Black face paint/dress like a idiot fans out in Oakland and their "Expect pain when you come into our house" mantra. They are obviously taking themselves too seriously in the bay area.
  4. No actually pretty much all of them do. Each major college program gets 85 FULL RIDE scholarships to give out....so if you have about 50 or so players that actually see the field every Saturday that leaves around 35 bench warmers that get a free $100,000 + ride to college. With that being said though it is tough for the kids who play by the rules and arent even allowed to get a job at McDonalds so they can have some spending cash while at school. It would be nice to see the NCAA come up with some sensible rule changes to allow some sort of strictly regulated employment opportunities for the student/athlete and at the same time put some real teeth into enforcing rules against the "abusers". Sorry to fly off topic......but Ill right myself. We dont need Pryor......he simply cant throw the football accurately
  5. Not a learner.....lol...good line
  6. I call the NFL owners and players greedy and that obviously makes me a socialist ??. Wow thats a leap. And last time I looked San Francisco is not a socialist country. Actually I'm not a socialist left wing nut job or a tea party moron and I believe the Bills have every right to move out of Buffalo if the market cant support the franchise any more.....I'm not crying at all.....The Bills moving from Buffalo is just a matter of time...the city will be unable to support the team as the league grows bigger and bigger in terms of finances. I was just pointing out that the average fan thinks the Bills will be just fine as long as attendence is steady.....unfortunately that wont be the case.
  7. I cant believe this was a business weekly that did this report and based it only on personal incomes of individuals that live in these cities. There was no mention of the true difference between a major market team and a small market team which is corporate dollars. The present and future economy of the NFL is all corporate driven. The risk of the Bills leaving Buffalo is not because Bills fans dont support the team at the gate. The fans have supporteed this team through thick and thin......not many teams can say that they have sold out 80-90% of their games during an 11 year playoff drought. Our problem is that we just dont have the large corporate base in Buffalo like other cities have. While teams like the Cowboys can charge ungodly amounts for luxury boxes and premium seats and advertising spots (that arent shared with other owners) the Bills are forced to charge less.....it has little to do with fannies in the seats if the Bills ever leave it wont be because of lack of fan support or the relative "salaries" of the fans in Buffalo...it will because the ungodly greed of the NFL owners and players that can only be quenched by chasing the almighty corporate buck........and because we are a small city when it comes to corporate power and dollars we will simply be left by the wayside.....a casualty of the greed of others
  8. I never hated Poz but I simply dont think he is worth 7mil per year....period I feel the Jags overpaid and Im glad the Bills didnt try to match their offer. If Barnett stays healthy he will be a very good pick up and will bring two things to the table that Poz never would....big play capability by getting into the backfield on plays and he doesnt have to come off the field on obvious throwing downs. I cant see paying a guy 7mil when he is a liabilty on third down covering a back or TE
  9. If we are truly building through the draft I cant see us giving up a top 10 pick for a 4-3 defensive end that doesnt fit our scheme. Plus hes gonna want stupid money
  10. I'll say Spiller. I think Gailey will try to get him the ball more and of the couple interviews I heard so far the kid seemed humbled by his mediocore season last year. I think he may have come in here thinking it was gonna be easy especially after the great pre-season he had...Hopefully he took last year as a learning experience and he comes back this season a little more mature and focused on what it takes to succeed in this league. My other sleeper is McGee...Hopefully he is finally healthy and has a bounce back year
  11. Kind of sounds like it might be the final nail in the coffin for this guy. They publicy announced at the end of last season they wanted to see the guy come back bigger and stronger this year......Guess he didnt use his time on lockout getting that done.
  12. If we could get they guy back to just 75% of what he was in SD we would be way ahead of the game. If he could stay healthy and they come to their senses and move Moats back to OLB we could have some real disrupters at both sides of the field
