  1. Great post Bill but you missed Kyle Williams - he was a beast today and the referees were really reluctant to call penalties on Miami Offense for some reasons for he was being held multiple times.

In reference to penalties against the Bills and uncalled on the Dolphins in the third quarter, I thought I time warped to the 70's. Horrible

Yeah, how did Miami not get several false start calls from both OTs? Great game!

GG was sitting behind me and was screaming about the false starts, especially from the blind side.

  2. Mead... Flutie was late getting the Stromboli out.... We need you back, lol... Thanks for teaching Ken! GREAT GAME!!!

Liar, liar, pants on fire! :nana:

Stromboli was fantastic and distributed to us as we had our breakfast beer and moon shine. A second batch was available shortly after the first. We missed you, though, Mead!

  3. There are 11 of us in the Rockpile secton this year. Youngest daughter Kalene (Babyrock) and son-in-law Jamie are veterans, the rest are TBD rookies (not Bills rookies).

We will have burgers, dogs, snacks, plates, napkins, buns, beer, and more.

    Only need grill space!

  4. From that column:

"Sweet 'N' Sour Matched Set: With the game tied at 17 in the fourth quarter, the Bears had third-and-1 on the Buffalo 34. Jay Cutler faked a toss left against a defense overstacked anticipating a run, then rolled right, hoping for a home run. The Bills had the intended receiver covered. Rather than try to run for the first, or simply throw the ball away, Cutler heave-hoed a crazy across-the-body pass that was intercepted by defensive tackle Kyle Williams. Very sour.

Now the game is in overtime, with Buffalo facing second-and-5 on the Chicago 39. The Bears had already possessed the ball, so the fifth quarter has become next-score-wins. Buffalo lined up tight end Scott Chandler as an extra blocking back. At the snap, Chandler went right, and the offensive line zone-blocked right. Tailback Fred Jackson, at 33 the league's oldest running back, went "under the blocks" toward the left, as the entire Chicago defense reacted to misdirection the other way. Jackson reached the Chicago 1: The winning field goal followed a moment later. Sweet."

  5. Will there be a "cover charge" to get a name tag (Thanks, Diane) and identify who is entitled to TBD food, grills, drinks, and so forth? It helped pay for the parking acreage we rent from Hammer as well as tent, tables, chairs, etc. Then if any is left we can use it to support TBD web site.

Thoughts? Did I miss this in the thread?

Who is coming on Saturday and where are you meeting?

    We usually meet at Danny's.

    BUMP

  6. Yes, Hammer will have a grill there.

I'm coming in Saturday, I'm planning on Dannys like usual for that evening. Are you camping out again this year?

Staying at Comfort Inn on Camp Road. I miss the camping days - last year was our first in a hotel. We sold the popup, but I am fine on the ground outside if it is dry!

  8. I will also try to get some meat. If anyone wants some, send me a PM and we can work out the specifics. I can keep it frozen until the game - I have a new cooler to assist. Keeping it frozen from there will be on you.

Moonshine will be back this year. Also, homemade brandy.*****

    ***but don't tell the revenuers.

Just saved me asking the question!

    That moonshine was fantastic!

  9. Once again Hammers Lot is very proud to host the 15th TBDAHOT.

Parking Choices are "Prime" party area or "General" parking area.

    Prime spots are limited.

    Parking starts @ 6:45am

    Prime held till 7: 45am.

    General till 8:30.

Parking List closes on September 12 2014.

To make parking easier YOU MUST have a easy (large) sign with TBD in your windshield when you pullin.

    Three in general parking, please!

  10. They are selling raffle tickets at work. The winners get to dump ice water on our boss. I bought tickets to donate to ALS but will not claim a winner.

I donate to help a deserving cause.

    GIMMEE AN ' F '

    LOL

    Follow up.

I actually held a winning ticket. :wallbash:

The winners were supposed to be on a video, that will be circulated throughout the company and probably FB.

I gave the ticket to someone who really wanted to be part of "that".

I also verified 100% of the funds were going to ALS.

  11. I am planning on coming in for this game... will be my first game at RWS since 2002. I don't plan on buying tickets until later, mainly because I have three kids and it is hard to plan this far ahead. Since I know this is a huge game every year, anyone remember how quickly it sells out and also where would be the best place to sit for kids as we will be bringing our 8-year-old son.

Thanks!!! Hope to tailgate a bit, will be babysitter dependent!

My daughter called me and said she bought me a ticket for this game. That is Babyrock. She is coming in from Connecticut.

So I will be parking at Hammers with all three daughters and a cool son-in-law.

For my oldest daughter - this is her first regular season game!

    Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait.
