  1. I will also try to get some meat. If anyone wants some, send me a PM and we can work out the specifics. I can keep it frozen until the game - I have a new cooler to assist. Keeping it frozen from there will be on you.

Moonshine will be back this year. Also, homemade brandy.*****

    ***but don't tell the revenuers.

Just saved me asking the question!

    That moonshine was fantastic!

  2. Once again Hammers Lot is very proud to host the 15th TBDAHOT.

Parking Choices are "Prime" party area or "General" parking area.

    Prime spots are limited.

    Parking starts @ 6:45am

    Prime held till 7: 45am.

    General till 8:30.

Parking List closes on September 12 2014.

To make parking easier YOU MUST have a easy (large) sign with TBD in your windshield when you pullin.

    Three in general parking, please!

  3. They are selling raffle tickets at work. The winners get to dump ice water on our boss. I bought tickets to donate to ALS but will not claim a winner.

I donate to help a deserving cause.

    GIMMEE AN ' F '

    LOL

    Follow up.

I actually held a winning ticket. :wallbash:

The winners were supposed to be on a video, that will be circulated throughout the company and probably FB.

I gave the ticket to someone who really wanted to be part of "that".

I also verified 100% of the funds were going to ALS.

  4. I am planning on coming in for this game... will be my first game at RWS since 2002. I don't plan on buying tickets until later, mainly because I have three kids and it is hard to plan this far ahead. Since I know this is a huge game every year, anyone remember how quickly it sells out and also where would be the best place to sit for kids as we will be bringing our 8-year-old son.

Thanks!!! Hope to tailgate a bit, will be babysitter dependent!

My daughter called me and said she bought me a ticket for this game. That is Babyrock. She is coming in from Connecticut.

So I will be parking at Hammers with all three daughters and a cool son-in-law.

For my oldest daughter - this is her first regular season game!

    Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait. Can't wait.

  5. Marrone: "When he comes back, we'll be ready to go. I don't think one person is going to make or break it." His quote from his presser today. You mean the player you mortgaged your short term future to pick? That guy? Then we should know his condition. Marrone's act is getting old, quickly. And with the same results as prior coaches, he won't be long for here. I'm not a knee-jerk reaction guy, but I'm thinking this team has the wrong coaching staff.

Should he have said "We are doomed?" :w00t:

  6. He sounded very cranky. Maybe there's more to his mood, maybe not.

The full article kind of set the mood:

"The Buffalo Bills returned to the field on Sunday afternoon to one of the muggiest weather days once camp started in July.

Some of the players were a bit feisty as well, leading to some raised voices and some heightened interactions."

After a cold beer and a shower, he might have been in a better mood to comment.

    Just sayin....

  7. As they say 60 is the new 40. My wife just turned 60 this year. I mentioned that to her. She smiled at me. Looked me in the eyes lovingly and proceeded to knee me in the nuts and give me a very vocal !@#$ you!!!

Had a party for the wife's 60th. I told people if they showed up with the word "old" on anything they were shark bait. :death:

  8. I grew up in Buffalo. I followed the team since 1966. I went to my first game in 1969 and I get the same feeling entering the stadium every time. I prefer we win but losing doesn't ruin the total experience. Making myself sick over the team seems silly. It's a game.

Me too but make it 1960 and 1964. *-)

Yes it is a game. Winning is more fun than losing, but as you say, it is a game.

I agree..Since the game is played once a week, it sets up so much anticipation over the rest of the week. It is almost how you are pinging for the WE to come when you are at work.

But regular season football is only 16 games, not 160.

  9. Glad she is okay John. Dang! Nothing is worse for a dad than one of his baby girls being harmed or potentially harmed. Exercise some restraint when they find the other driver -- I know how hard that will be. Every cell in your body will want to kill the mother!@#$er...

Having three adult daughters I can heartily agree with this. When someone threatens my daughter, some animal adrenaline kicks in.

I will say a prayer she is OK and the nonhuman is brought to justice.
