I hope the answer wasn't that they wanted to go in a "different direction." That's a stock BS answer. It tells us nothing, and at this point with this team we deserve to know a bit more about it.
I'd expect him to say something like this:
"Bobby is a great guy and a good player. We just felt that his downfield blocking wasn't what we needed in our current scheme. Additionally, we didn't feel that he had a good grasp of the playbook at this point in the season, which caused him to make some mistakes. We're sorry things didn't work out with him, and we're sure he'll find a productive role on another team."
Did he say something like that, or was it the same BS "Different direction" thing?

That is OK, I went to Geneseo State in the early 70's, majored in Pinochle and Euchre, before dropping out to hitch hike (is that one word or two?) around the northeast (is that one word or two?).

The Bills announced today that security will allow fans to bring their own puke bucket for the Miami game.
According to Tom Donahoe: "Hopefully, they won't be needing them, but there is a potential for the stadium to turn into a Vomitorium if the offense doesn't get untracked."
The stadium cleaners union originally planned to fight the new policy, but backed off due to a shortage of mops available at the stadium.
Update: They will be handing them out at the gate for free.

Let's make this a "wish list" thread.
The Bills would take a "what the hell" attitude Sunday. You know maybe a reverse or throwback on the kick-off, screens, half back passes. If nothing else make the game entertaining because right now Bills games are like a trip to the dentist. You dread going, it hurts while you're there and you're glad when it's over.I wish they would do an on-side kick on their 1st kickoff.

The Bills lost three games by a total of 8 points. They were in the NE game right to the end, regardless of the score.

Long time SW Reader and new poster.
I was wondering if I could ask a couple of questions!!
I am going to be coming up to Buffalo for the Miami game next weekend and was wondering if anyone could recommend a hotel to stay at Sunday Night?
Also, I would like to take my girlfriend to Niagra Falls on Saturday - is there any thing special I need to go into Canada, ie Passport or anything? Is there big delays at the border coming/going?

As far as border crossing, bring photo ID and original birth certificate (not a photocopy), or a passport. I am not aware of anything else needed.
Border delays are a crap shoot. Last time I came through at Lewiston the delay was about 30 minutes on a Friday night (back into the US).
