picking at 8 you hope t get an impact player. looking at this draft a left tackle might be the best bang for your buck. personally i can not decide on geno very tough call but he would be one way to go. Adding a wideout would be great but from all accounts 8 is high for any of them , looks like a bunch of good ones could be left in round 2. That leaves millner, jordan or a guy like floyd. Taking all of this into consideration drafting a top notch left tackle is not unreasonable. For me adding floyd or daruis would be an nice fall back plan, Then again there is Geno Smith, gonna be a fun weekend

Are you saying Glenn can't play right tackle ? I think he clearly had the skill set. Fisher is being compared to joe Thomas. Not saying the perfect scenario but if levitre leaves and looking at the draft board it might be the best they can do.
Fisher Glenn wood utbik pears or Hairston. Plush a guy like sanders developing.

I don't understand this idea of giving the GM one last draft? Houston did the same thing with Casserly. Now of course it is always a group decision but if NIx is gone after the draft why keep him around. It is not like Whaley is new to the organization. He knows the players. What is the point of letting NIx pick players once more time and then turning those players over to Whaley/Marrone?
Anyways who cares. We all knew this was coming and Brandon looks like a fool when he keeps saying no stone will go unturned to improve the team.

I Agree. In three years nix has brought in a ton of talent. Lets keep in mind his first two offseasons were compromised. First year was the last year of the players contract and there was very little movement. Second year was shorten due to lock out.

If levitre moves on,left tackle at 8 makes a ton of sense. I would vote for fisher , then move Glenn to guard .
That said geno smith may be there and that is a whole different kettle of fish. .

Why not draft a prototypical left tackle and have a mauler like Glenn inside.
Once get sign wood this Oline would be together for at least 5 years.

Russ Brandon has done more damage to the proper functioning of the Buffalo Bills Football team then any other person in the history of the organization in my opinion.

couple of things i think rhodes is a pettine cb not milner, love the bama te in the 5th the duke qb is a big time sleeper imo he gets drafted 4-6 rounds

Nix, once again, put this team in a terrible hole with that contract. He bowed to media pressure to re-sign the guy, and now they've got a bad contract that yields little benefit by cutting him.
Fitz's starting days are over, and it's that awful contract keeping him around. The other unique aspect is that prior to re-signing TJ, Fitz was the only QB signed for 2013. It's one thing to get 2 QB's, but not having any signed is leaving yourself wide open. You have to believe other teams would feed on that sort of thing.
all he has to do is cut him its a one year cap hit and move on the contract has little bearing on the teams future
