This post from a Baltimore fan says it all
jcbillsfan replied to Just in Atlanta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
it is like the old eddie murphy joke, if you give a man trapped in the desert a cracker , he will think it is the best damn thing he ever ate. The Ravens wr are a mess after boldin and maybe even boldin(he has received a pounding over the years ).Evans to them represents an up grade . To the bills he was an aging expensive player blocking younger player who will be more productive. CAN WE PLAESE MOVE ON -
Ryan Mallett ......QB Rating 108.2
jcbillsfan replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think any one questions Mallett had talent. Most teams do not beleive he can keep it together enough to run a team. look at him like Jeff georege, Pats took a gamble be fun to see how it plays out. -
willims, johnson, levitre, wood, fitz should all be rexgended before the season starts
-
nah , 42 catches last year bunch of drops and key fumbles , at 30 he can easily be replaced
-
incarcerated bob who's inof is pretty solid is saying he will have info in three hours
-
I know it is crazy but lanston walker would provide good depth . I always thought he was slightly below average as a started , but as a expierenced backup what the hell do they have to lose /

Fox Merriman article plus a repeat of Nix' philosophy
jcbillsfan replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
THere were so many holes he choose to tackle the defense first , knowing Chan could probalbly cobble something together on offense . which he kind of did If you look at the defense today .The d line is looking very good. The secondary should be solid Linebackers will see. but certainly heading in the right direction on offense they have a solid stable of wide receivers and running backs THe team is really only a few upgrades away from making the 9-7 you were so happy to point out the jets reached in their big turn around and finally how many big time free agents you see the Steelers bring in every year good point , i guess with the nfl contracts you never know what they are really worth anyway , roster bonus, grt money , ect -

as for the jets 10-6 the year before they were 4-12 green bay was 13-3 the year before they were 6-10 you are cherry picking a teams on a off year do to injuries mostly as for kelsey contemporaries , any of those guy available in the 18 months buddy has been on the job Back to right tackle , give me your guy that you could have signed . Cleary not that easy when you offer the best guy Clabo the most money and he doesn't come -

Took a shot with green , remember last year there was very little movement in free agency, by the all team miss with free agnets not sure what the probelm with kelsey's extention. As they upgrade the roster he can be cut at anytime. Lets see what Spiller does this year before making judgements again they just went after the best right tackle available in free agency. They drafted a solid prospect in this draft. Seems like an effort is being made Outide linebacker. hmm they signed a former all pro olb. whom from all accounts is looling very ggod. Greenbay has been a solid team for oh like 15 years. Ans the Jets have been good since Parcells had them . seems to me we played pretty even with kc on the road last year, not sure i see that much different in the teams except we have to play the jets and pats for 4 games T.b will see ,can they make the playoffs before we call it a turn around -

jcbillsfan replied to BobbyC81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives

wow so you advocate spenidng the 9th pick of the draft on a right tackle . I am so sick of the buddy bashing . Can we please see how spliller, troupe carrington ect proform this year before we trash his first draft. -
The Lack of addressing the TE position
jcbillsfan replied to Cornerville's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the offense we are running doesn't need an elite TE .I am sure they would find a use for what in one fell into their laps but as of now it is not a priority . Buddy spent two years rebuilding a defense built to play small and fast, and guess what he is just about there. He has a good stable of Wide outs and running backs. They seemed to stumbled on a solid if not spectatuclar quateback. If Hairston doesn't develop this year you can bet that they will continue to try to upgrade the line true but when you look back at his other stops he has very little production from the position -
A lot of that has to due with the fact that the Jets and Pats are in the division , barring a major injury the Bills playing for the 6th seed before the season starts. That said put them in the nfc west ,and I would be they be battling for the division title. Team is getting better and one of these years soon (fingers crossed )the jets will implode or Brady will start to decling . The Bills won't get anywhere near that pick. The Redskins seem to be in full dump mode (brings back memories of the Sidney croaby draft )this year with an eye towards number one. It is a shame we are in the division we are because I think the team is getting close to middle of the pact. Do the the bears, vikings, texans, chiefs and for that matter the Giants have a large talent gap over the Bills ? I thing the Bills have moved from the 20-30 group to the 10 -20 group in year two of nix/gailey. The next step gets a lot harder but they clearly are headed in the right direction .

WR Buster Davis signs with Bills
jcbillsfan replied to Frostbelt City's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Easley has yet to stay healthy . why not bring a guy in. Buddy liked him enough to draft him or be on a staff that drafted him in round one, never hurts to take a look. Oh yeah pretty sure he gets the fact that he could you an upgrade at right tackle. Tight end, don't know how much Chan uses one, take out the one year with the cheifs and you see very little production -
seems to me it is a pretty good bet the the back up qb is going to make a couple starts at least every year . The guys that had last year made the games an automatic loss, not so much this year
-
not taking about a huge investment, but as a back up left tackle they could do a lot worse. do you want to see ed wang play is something happens to bell
-
Read the article , sounds like somebody at 2 bills drive kicked sand in sully's face. Not sure what else could have been done They went hard for Clabo , Colon was never leaving pittsburgh. In reality they signed Merriamn, barnett, thigpen, brad smith and kept florence .As for Poz they were the worst run d in the history of the world last year with him . They will get by at right tackle with what they have providing something doesnt shake lose , but this upcoming draft is loaded with tackles . The list of holes is strating to get smaller and smaller .

The Bills are one of 11 teams…
jcbillsfan replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
if it were my team , I would get Levite and wood extended right now. They are team leaders and players they are building around. Stevie is going to have to get paid.. Fitz is on the last year of his contract and I am wondering if it makes sense to do something longer term with kyle williams. Makes more sense to lock up your core then over spending on lesser talent . just my two cents -
pulled over for loud music, admitted to the police he has a gun , because it was unresgistered he got arrested. all in all not the worst thing in the world Free agent OT Mario Henderson was arrested Thursday in Florida on charges of carrying a concealed firearm. After being pulled over for loud music, Henderson admitted to the officer that he had a gun in the vehicle. He's not licensed to carry a concealed firearm, which was a problem when the gun was found next to his seat instead of in the glovebox as he indicated. The Raiders failed to extend a tender to Henderson before the end of the last CBA. He'll take the offseason incident into free agency. per rotoworld http://www.rotoworld.com/recent/nfl/4458/mario-henderson

He has played left tackle , which is more then I can say for anyone else on the roster , we need a backup for bell, assuming pears is your right tackle . 28 nfl starts , most at left tackle. Sounds like he would be a better back up left tackle then anyone on the roster.

Can Kyle Williams play End?
jcbillsfan replied to 2020 Our Year For Sure's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
IMO they are going to use williams, troupe, daruas, edwards, carrington in all sorts of lineups and packages. All in all not to shabby of a rotation. If jasper panned out like we all dream of look out
