They replaced 3/5th of the offensive line, almost all of the front 7 on d. All new wide recievers and tight ends . There were a few holdovers but most didn't play so either dickie j was stupid or the group coached these guys up and made them better . but all in all they replaced a lot of players in two short years , and the first year has a very small gree agent class

Jets ranking 17th against the run is very misleading, plus no wood . It is like you almost wait/wish things go bad so you can come out blasting. As for competition , most teams use two backs maybe 70-30 split some less , some more. No reason that Fred shouldn't be any different , in fact it will prolong his career . Idealy fred wears them down then you put the speed in to take advantage of a tired defense . Then fred comes back to run down the clock . Plus as you see if you often need two starters due to injury hang in there you will get it someday Maybe cj is not a 25 carry a game back, but some of the holes fred goes through, the ones when he gets 30 yards , cj porobably would take to the house.4 Not knocking fred at all , he makes more out of nothing then anyback in the league , but cj does have break away speed

Part of the problem is they keep changing , They need to stick with a group for 5 or more years to build a consistant winner. Teams need identities and that does not happen in two years. Granted Edwards seemd to be lost , but Wannstandt is a capable coach and with many in the league turning to a hybrid defense based 0n opponent he should have know problem adjusting. Buddy and company are looking to copy the steelers blue print. Build through the draft , make sure you sign your important free agnets and every now and then bring in a free agent that makes snese. While I am writing trying to think of the last major free agent that Pittsburgh signed .

Buddy has stated that Mr wilson often asked the front office to sign free agnets and has been talked out of it by Buddy. I wonder if Buddy takes a swing at someone like vincent jackson this off season , or maybe a physical corner like t thomas .

Wood has missed a ton of games so far in his short career . Thinking they migth want to take a shot at a center in the later round of the draft.

It is very hard to get veteran depth players to come and play for a team that is precieved to have to shot at winning . If anything it should be a little easier to recruit that type of player this offseason. would like them to bring in josh johnson this offseason. Tb will not sign him and he is athletic with upside.

one game is harsh plus the jets kind of own the bills right now. Give him the 6 games and will see, thinking more good then bad. 9 th pick probably not but it is hard to fault them when you look at the next 3 or 4 picks in that draft , not a strong draft.

Urkik will be fine at center. Chan tried levitre in order to keep the other 4 lineman in place. Didn;t work , now he move rheinhardt to right tackle and puts levitre back to left. problem solved .

The evans hero warship is mind boggling . It is like looking at a pam anderson playboy from the 90's and thinking she looks that way today. Evans had done little the last two season, there is no reason to think this year would be any different. In addition, he was not willing to run crossing routes, which is 90 percent of the routes the bills run . MOve on plesae .

Buddy is not the problem, After he gutted the mess jouron left, what was left was not much better then an expansion roster. When haelthy this team was on its way to an 9 or ten win season. now they might get 7 or 8 which will mean a 3 or 4 game improvement which is not bad progress

both teams have spent many years and many high draft picks to get where they are. Bills are barely out of the plugging the hole stage.

has evans played in a game yet this year. Draft picks are very valuable. The more you have the more chance you have to hit on 5th round picks like kyle williams or 4th round picks like hairston. Having a injured lee evans sitting on the sidelines in street clothes would have............ By the way handy sucks .
