these players produced a few of the worse defenses in bills history. The present Bills roster doesn't have McGee (#8 in career tackles with 440), Kelsay (#15, 293), Scott (#20, 237), Wilson (#21, 234), Jairus "flew the coop" Byrd (#29, 219), as well as Barnett (#41, 150) and Sheppard (#58, 95). http://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/career-defense.htm. Almost 1500 tackles that will have to be made up.

He could be a very nice nickel. He had a 4th round grade in some publications For what it's worth pro football weekly gave him a 3-4 th round grade. Number 2 nickel backer
-
Pope would offer some nice depth
-
i will keep the one we have . thank you
-
It is going to be Hairston.
Young and sanders will be the backup tackles
-
i think lindell makes about 2 million , so he is gone
-
I think you'll see the corner/safety line blur.... Gilmore and mckelvin will be the outside corners but I think everyone else is simply a DB
agreed

Great pick. Cj tj this guy. Woods with great hands. Stevie with great moves
This is going to be fun

Taking the qb at 8 is the logical play. It takes all the risk of missing your guy. Second reason is at pick 8 the can't miss impact player will not be on the board
-
The problem they have is who to take at 8 if not qb, and if they wait who will be left at 42
-
The fact that more then Likely will not be an impact player at 8 they are going qb. Nassib or Barkley.
-
Tj played well at the mini camp. He could be in his way to a nice career. Not picking Wilson is another subject.
-
They could go guard with one of the picks. They don't have a starter on the roster
-
Barkley

the defensive talent is not as bad as it played. not sure what kyle has left, daruis is a key for me . Bradham and sheppard might do very will inside
-
how about a post bye thursday night toronto game vs cinn
-
Bradham will move inside in the 3-4. So your looking at Lawson at SOLB, Sheppard SILB, Bradham WILB, and Moats right now at WOLB.
Mario or Anderson will play olb opposite manny. Shep and bradhan in the middle.

Done. Britt has major talent. He is immature.

43 is the mike

I would take the 2 number 2's and move a Williams to free safety.
It all depends on whether he is willing to extend his contract. If he wants to play for a contender and is fed up with Buffalo, get some value. If he is willing to stay we would be stupid to not keep him
If Byrd entered the draft this year he would be a top 5 or 10 pick. The bills would have to get that value in return. Easily a 1st and 2nd. How often to teams ever get a chance at a top player like Byrd off their first contract. Almost never.
You are forgetting he has 4 years on his body and makes 6 million. He is a very good player but 2 twos seems like a fair trade
-
Just to add to your question, I'd also like to hear people's thoughts on Hairston sliding into the LG position as well.
I think Hairston will end up starting at left guard
-
hopefully fred can fill the 4 minute role . he has to hold on to the ball however
-
So you want a 6th or a 7th. ?
-
As a back up safety who knows the system or seems like a no brainer

Eugene Parker again. I would take all of his players off of my draft board. Get ready for a trade for a 2 and a 5
