New sale of team thread

Right but doing that removes even the slightest veneer of "We're not moving to Toronto" -
Here's the Hogan OT throw in question. Video quality is awful but it looks like Thad threw a fastball low and behind him and he couldn't get it. Much better video. 3:00 mark. My conclusion remains unchanged. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap2000000261679/Week-6-Bengals-vs-Bills-highlights

Jesus Christ, Mohammed, and Buddha could form an ownership group to buy the Magic and that would not make them the least bit more interesting to me. -

I don't remember where it was announced that the home opener was "Rotten Fruit and Eggs" giveaway day -
Any place worth its draft handles will let you sample whatever you want before you make the full commitment. Other places do kind of a sampler platter of beer where they bring 3 or 4 smaller glasses of things. If you don't know what to ask for tell them what you like (more importantly what you don't) and let them pick for you a couple times. The variety in flavors and characters available these days is astounding. There are beers that try to rip your face off with hops on one end and others that are like liquid bread on the other and everything in between.

RFID chips being added to NFL shoulder pads

Well it's a REALLY good thing that New England doesn't have a business relationship with CBS wherein CBS benefits from New England succeeding. Wait...they do? ****. -
These were mine - reposted for clarity. San Diego - Malcolm Floyd 6 for 149 New Orleans - Robert Meachem 16 for 324 Carolina - Domenik Hixon 7 for 55(!) Cincinnati - Andre Hawkins 12 for 199 Cleveland - Travis Benjamin 5 for 105 Indianapolis - Griff Whalen 24 for 259 And NY Jets - Clyde Gates 12 for 122. Buffalo - Marquise Goodwin 17 for 283.
-
Your Jets guy is wrong. profootball reference has Kellen Winslow listed as a WR. Not to be that guy but these are basically all incorrect. You need to go double check.
-
I think that's correct. My numbers above his were strictly the 4th WR based on catches not yards.
-
which is why i picked out NE and GB because they run a lot of multiple WR sets and have competent passing games without stat dominant TEs (last year at least for Gronk). We run a lot of multiple WR sets and don't have a TE we WANT to target so if we attained competency those numbers are similar to what I would expect from out #4.
-
Doing this I feel like the teams were cherry picked a bit in that they either a. had no WRs at all let alone 4 b. threw heavily to TEs in lieu of WRs (Jimmy Graham, Antonio Gates, LaDarius Green, Jordan Cameron) or c. both For example New England's #4 WR was Kenbrell Thompkins who caught 32 for 466 and Green Bay's #4 was Randall Cobb who had 31 for 433. I don't feel like going through the whole league, you can if you want to.

Punt return halos are much bigger and much more strongly enforced in college. His collegiate average return was 9.5 yards which is....adequate at best, and he had 2 PRs for TD. Our current punt returner averaged 13.1 yards per return and brought 7 back for TDs.
-
He has a hard time tracking and catching passes, now we want to kick him punts where he has to track and field balls with guys bearing down on him and drops are turnovers?

Canton's a pretty small place. What are the odds people stage a protest outside the party venue? -

It means to me that they threw Toronto out and the bankers want to get another bid because they don't think Trump will making a big binding bid which will deflate the eventual sale price because Pegula won't bid against himself. -
Is it unreasonable to suggest he could be a Josh Reed analog? So 55 for 600 with 2 TDs a bunch of 1st downs and solid blocking. That was Reed's top output. If I were really stretching it I'd say Wayne Chrebet whose numbers were really up and down (75 for 1083 one year, 48 for 631 the next) only 3 years over 900 yards but caught 41TDs and was an absolute PIA the whole time. Best case scenario for Graham I see is Don Beebe. His best stat year was one with the Packers 39 for 699 with 4 TDs. His best year as a Bill was 40 for 527 with 4 TDs. He was consistently between 30 and 40 catches for about 500 yards and a handful of touchdowns and he'd drop the most aggravating passes some times. You'd hold your breath when the ball was in the air. I get the why people would keep Graham, he's fast as hell but I think the numbers at the end of the day would be about the same, it's just how you get there. Part of the issue is that they're competing for the same spot but really wouldn't do the same sorts of things on the field so you can always fall back on the "yeah but" in either case. It's a matter of preference honestly.

He's an athlete - he was just green as grass, having only played 1 yr of CF after playing college LAX, so if the light has come on for him he can be a player. I'm not worried about the physical tools, toughness, or "want to" out of this kid. There are plenty of guys who have run worse 40s and been great players. Mr. Reed was 4.5+ IIRC

Let's Make a Statement This Weekend

I'm interested to see if Andre works something into his speech. A suggestion: keep it simple and old school. "Let's Go Buffalo" -
JBJ is supposed to be the controlling owner which means he can't fall under 33.4% ownership so AT LEAST that much of the bid needs to come from him. That's 434 million dollars. Let's assume the 300 million net worth estimates are wrong by 50%. That puts him just about all in, not cash wise, but every cent he has. Other businesses, real estate, music rights, etc. #1 nobody in their right mind would do that. #2, the NFL wouldn't approve someone who is so "house-poor". Terry just pushed JBJ into the center of the table and still has a big stack in reserve, and I'd imagine a Tom Golisano on the sideline waiting to jump in with the death punch if needed.

Most Exciting Bills Game Ever
DJasper Probincrux III replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know we lost but the Buffalo Cleveland wild card game after the 1989 season was an edge of your seat game the whole way through. If Ronnie Harmon isn't Ronnie Harmon that game would already be much higher on this list.
