  1. Running a 6 lane highway directly underneath a building with 65-70k people in it will never ever ever happen in the modern security landscape. They'd have to close the road during games, minimally to truck traffic, probably to everything. The Big Dig has open space on top.
  2. and I go back to work in 2 weeks hoping none of my co-workers are even 10% this much of a train wreck. FWIW - it MUST have been hot for teacher, she took off her pants.
  3. He knows that, but the interjection of JJ Watt's name into the questioning was stupid. Marrone was goofing on the guy for being an assclown.
  4. Being nice and forthcoming with the media gets him what exactly? They'll take what he says and make the story they want out of it anyway. Q: "Why did Woods play into the 3rd Quarter" A: "Because he was supposed to" Read as - We have a plan and it doesn't matter that you know the plan, only that WE know the plan, and I don't feel like taking the time to explain it to you so you can twist it around, read too much into it, or run to Bob Woods and bait him for another response
  5. It'll be fine until they get someone who hits back harder. 45 is a kitty. S. Jackson's inspiring "we're all here for each other" chat lost some value when his hammy turned up sore enough for him to miss camp the next day.
  6. #1 orton doesnt want to play football #2 dude...
  7. keep in mind, nobody else has had a game yet. consider friday PS game #1
  8. Of course it's not. He did something that was successful. We cannot acknowledge that as anything other than what it is. Pure luck.
  9. GM - Terry Bledsoe or Stew Barber Bills have been the best punting team for years and years and years. Rick Tuten was a short-termer OC - Dan Henning
  10. So, if this goes down the way it's looking like it might that 10/12 game vs. NE is going to be a tough ticket. Who WOULDNT want to be there to salute Daddy Warbucks? I do.
  11. With what I saw last night I'd like to see him at end for a couple snaps as well. He showed very good quickness off the ball and I think he's a little light in the ass for the inside. Though as a situational pass rushing DT he could have a role. DT is crowded on our team right now.
  12. This. We could make such a long list of high pick (top 3 rounds) turdballs at WR over the years it's sad. Here's every WR we've drafted in rounds 1-3 since 1970. I bolded the guys who did pretty much what they were expected to do, you can debate a couple I left off of that because they weren't completely useless but still underwhelming. Glen Alexander rd. 3 1970 JD Hill rd. 1 (4th overall - drugs are bad kids) 1971 John Kimbrough rd. 3 1977 Danny Fulton rd. 3 1978 Jerry Butler rd.1 1979 Byron Franklin rd. 2 1981 Mike Mosely rd. 3 1981 Perry Tuttle rd. 1 1982 Eric Richardson rd.2 1984 We took 4 WRs in the top 3 rounds in 4 years and none of them could play - none Chris Burkett rd. 2 1985 Bernard Ford rd. 3 1988 Don Beebe rd. 3 1989 Eric Moulds rd. 1 1996 Peerless Price rd. 2 1999 Josh Reed rd.2 2002 Lee Evans rd. 1 2004 Roscoe Parrish rd. 2 2005 James Hardy rd. 2 2008 TJ Graham rd. 3 2012 Bob Woods rd. 2 2013 Marquise Goodwin rd. 3 2013 Sammy Watkins rd. 1 2014 He picks things up and puts them down
  13. Any WR that didn't want to go to Houston in 1988 with Moon and the run-n-shoot was a complete and utter dumbass.
  14. WR - Bernard Ford. 3rd round pick 1988. We liked him so much we tried to trade him as a rookie and he asked to be released instead. We obliged. http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/1989-12-16/sports/8912162948_1_bernard-ford-ford-moved-cowboys
  15. Corey Moore went to Virginia Tech Mo Elewonibi - he was supposed to be the solution at tackle after Wolford walked. Got cut. That 1994 camp lead up was ALL Elewonibi. Sticking with the CFL theme - how about Jimmy "The Jet" Cunningham WR/KR? Came down from the Argos and did zippo. For kicker how about Kirk Roach? 5th round pick 1987 - supposed to have a huge leg and supplant Norwood. Cut.
  16. It was good to see him come up to fill but he really needs to wrap up and not just throw a shoulder into a guy.
  17. I did the same thing, it looked like he either was able to out-quick his blocker and get into the backfield or he got completely obliterated and knocked off his feet or driven well backwards. Seemed very much like all or nothing.
  18. i'll check the sink, I'm standing right in front of it, just gimmie a second to shake.... not for nothing but the trough is the model of urine efficiency and I hope they keep them. individual urinals at stadiums are stupid. I remember going to games at Bobby Dodd Stadium in ATL and the trough was cut into the floor and you'd pee on the tiled wall while a flow of water flowed through the trough left to right out of the room. it was extremely Roman
  19. I'm wondering if JBJ doesn't get desperate at this point, kicks the Canadians to the curb, and calls up TG to be his Sugar Daddy. I don't know that TG would go for that and risk his own image locally.
  20. I'm guessing here. Kansas City, Atlanta, Houston, Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Carolina could surprise me, . I doubt Jacksonville has our back and I really doubt Minnesota does with the battles they've had getting a stadium and threats they've made of late KC is still owned by the Hunts ATL - Arthur Blank seems like a stand-up guy just a guy feeling HOU - just a guess based on history DET - putting a team actually IN Canada hurts their best interests and threatens their cross border traffic SEA - Allen has enough money and seems to run a very fan centered organization CHI - Still owned by the McCaskeys CAR - Jerry Richardson also seems like a stand-up sort of guy and he has a similar succession issue post heart-transplant
  21. Here's another one from that game, the ball looks awfully high. Crap video aside. That appears to be the only other ball thrown to him that day that went incomplete.
  22. It's behind the taillight. Go ahead and pull over to secondary inspection Sir.
  23. I give that slate two solid "meh"s and a shrug.
