  1. I say they reunite the two teams. Make them play the game over, see who really is best. The over/under could be 1. P.S. I shook Angelo Mosca's hand once, it's like grabbing a log....he woulda kicked butt if they had a real fight.
  2. I'm with ya on that. without being able to respectfully discuss the 'what ifs', what fun is this forum? I mean, what if this forum barred all what if statements? Wait...I just confused myself...this post would have to be deleted. Never mind. My head hurts.
  3. Me, Billsfreak17 son, is a bills fan.. it is fun but my dad is maybe the biggest DOLPHINFAN ever and i say that Buffalo will win 35 7 and the dolphins will sadley lose a playoff spot hahahahahahahaha dad your on the computer! HAHAHA...Billsfreak17 here...that was my son, who (for many years) knows the best way that i am a dolphin fan
  4. Then somebody picked up the spoon that had sat out in the sun too long and went soft, and took some sandpaper to the edges and rubbed them until they were far less sharp. Then, they covered it will tar and cotton. Receivers today dropped a couple of passes (Spiller) that they coulda/shoulda caught. Wood going down never helps...although it was already turning into a blow-out by then. Sigh...quite a few areas that need to be improved. Just when I thought there was a legit shot at the playoffs, the Bills have back to back collapses that make me wonder if they'll win more than one or two more games this year.
  5. Argh, darn, can't make it. Besides, it's much nicer here in Canada in Novemb....(author falls off chair and goes into spasms)
  6. Naturally I'm kidding...have a blast!
  7. Ahhhh, yes, the hatred continues. It's interesting to see what the most hated teams are. So many of us hate Dallas, for many reasons...especially the 2 Super B.....ah, never mind, I won't mention it. Thus, my teams in order of hatred is listed here...but please note, I live just outside Ottawa, so I have to have a special, seething, nauseating hatred for the Toronto Maple Leafs. MY OFFICIAL LIST OF NFL TEAMS BY HATRED: 1) Miami.... attended a few Miami games in the late 80s...special times. 2) The Cowvomits....2 Super B...ah, never mind....a bunch of reasons. Besides 'a hole in the roof so God can watch'? Maybe tomorrow! But outside of our trip there every two moons, the good Lord above is looking down at Orchard Park! 3) The Jests...they're just an amusement hatred, purely hatred for the sake of hatred. 4) Miami...attended a few Miami games in the late 80s...special times. Thus we have it. I wish I could set up a poll (hint to somebody who knows how to do that here on this forum) on which teams are hated the most. Although I'm sure this has been done before sometime. I hope the Bills beat Dallas so bad the players are made to shave their heads bald with a cheese grater while chewing on tin foil.
  8. I officially hate you.
  9. Ahhhh, yes....the Cowboys, how easy it is to hate them. In fact, when I think of them, I often think of a profound piece of poetry by MacLean and MacLean. May bloody piles torment you, and corns grow on your feet, May crabs as big as turtles, crawl up your A$$ and eat, And when you're old and feeble, and have become a nervous wreck, I hope your head falls out your A$$ and breaks your frikking neck. Here's to the first ever 1000 to 0 football game. GO BILLS.
  10. Okay, I should have been more clear. My point is that the Bills experiment would be more successful if there was a stadium closer to the US border than Rogers Center.
  11. Right. And a city like New York wouldn't have it's teams playing in a neighboring city either. The main knock against the deal now is the location of the stadium in downtown Tuhranna. No room for tailgating. Putting the stadium closer to the border would definitely help draw some US fans across to the games. Not to mention the lower property costs if the stadium is built somewhere other than downtown.
  12. I think the Canadian fans are warming up to them more. The (slightly) improved atmosphere in Tornonto this year supports that claim. Of course, the Bills on-field success is a big factor. But think of it this way: How close would you get to a woman who you knew was moving away in a few years? If the Bills sign a more permanent deal with Toronto, the fans there would definitely warm up to them even more. I still hope Toronto builds another stadium sometime though...maybe in Hamilton or something, to make it a tad more accessible for natives of the U.S.A. More organized logistics on the part of many parties (such as train trips, customs arranged to facilitate large groups more effectively, etc.) could lead to a far more beneficial and enjoyable arrangement for all concerned.
  13. Norwood did win many games for us. He wasn't a great kicker, but wasn't bad either. We had several players of his caliber on our team that season. If any of them had stood up and made a big play during that game, that too would have changed the outcome. Part of what makes that team so legendary is their desire to overcome criticism, bad weather, bickering, etc. Their resilience is what makes their legacy so profound. Scott Norwood symbolized that as much as nearly any other player on that team. It must have taken a lot of guts to carry on (on and off the field) the way he did.
  14. That's frikking brilliant.
  15. Wait...doesn't the grim reaper wear a hoodie? So much to admire about Belichick, but so much to hate. He's kind of like the O.J. of New England.
  16. I hate to see what happens when we face a team that gives us zero turnovers. Stopping the short passing game that other teams seem to use against us regularly would be a good start. However, our strengths outnumber our weaknesses. People are making valid points about the number of yards we're allowing per game...I don't like it either, but I don't feel as negative about it as the original poster on this thread.
  17. I haven't had the chance to watch much this year, but has anyone on this board seriously state that they have seen other teams run at KW and he got blown off the map? Are teams avoiding him? I think one also has to factor in that other teams tend to pass a bit more when they face Fitzbearded-one and our high scoring offence.
  18. True, it does help the O-line to have a QB that gets rid of the ball in 2 seconds or less. However, I do recall seeing individuals (Bell comes to mind) last year who couldn't even hold off average D-linemen for more than a second. In fact, sometimes it looked like Bell was somehow propelling the defenders at the QB, somewhat like one of those gizmos tennis players use that launch tennis balls at them. However, this year he and the others have all stepped up in a large way.
  19. Holy crap, that is sooooooo true. The o-line has to be the most pleasant surprise of this season thus far. 99.999 % of the posters on this board and the national media predicted this year, the O-line was going to be our biggest weakness.
  20. Indeed, defense is being re-defined...well said. Which also sheds some light on the Kyle Williams issue...is he having a bad year, seeing as he only has 4 tackles? He's doing his job, providing pressure on the pocket...teams are passing when they play against us...if Kyle was weak, they would be running straight at him. His position, the way his performance has to be evaluated, has to be re-difined given the systems we're using, and the types of plays teams are running against us.
  21. A tad guilty of not being a Kelsay fan, and I did expect our passing game to suffer. O-line didn't look good. But the biggest thing I'm guilty of is thinking Bell was useless. He's toughed out a lot of criticism, paid his dues the hard way, and has showed a lot of character. Hat's off to him, he certainly proved me wrong. There, I've confesed...and I feel better already. However, I knew all along the bills were gonna go 16-0, and win the Super Bowl.
  22. Trading Spiller now would be a bad idea. We'd be lucky to get a 10th round draft pick for him. I'd suggest wait until the playoff situation has been solidified. Then put in Spiller for a few games, and run some plays that are designed to make him look like a star. During the offseason, we might be able to get something in return more than just a kicking tee. Maybe two kicking tees.
  23. Two quick things to factor in here; San Diego looks pretty weak, and the whole NFC east looks average. Having Gates a little banged up doesn't help the Chargers. They aren't as good as the Rayduhz, who we already beat. I say 3-1, or possibly 4-0 against the NFC east. Split with the Patriots (last game of the season, we'll be resting everybody except the cheerleaders), and maybe split with the Jets.
  24. I don't care if it took 9 or 10 seasons to get to the Pro Bowl...we could have used him. Signing Cowboy vomit is a joke. I'm all for 'building through the draft', but supplementing the odd bad draft pick in a situation that warrants it isn't illegal...especially when you have so much money to spend right now.
  25. Well, even if Cassel does start on Sunday, I'll bet Darius is using his ribs to play xylophone on. To a pleasant melody, he'll be banging Cassel's femurs on them while celebrating with team mates.
