In 3 years with the Bills Tyrod had a total combined passing and rushing of 10,432 Yds and 65 TD's. He had signed a contract in 2017 paying him $15million per year. In 2 yrs with the Billls Allen has a total combined passing and rushing of 5881 Yds and 43 TD's with 3 games left to play. He is making $5.3 million per year for 2 more years. Assuming Allen throws for another 700 Yds and rushes for another 150 Yds and accounts for say another 7 Total TD's these last 3 games, that would give Allen approximately 6731 Yds and 50 TD's over his 1st 2 NFL seasons. Wrong. Roberts is not a problem. He's made very sound decisions all year long. Just because he hasn't broken any that have gone the distance (yet, anyways) doesn't mean he should be cut. He got the majority of his money on his 2yr deal this year and is signed through next season at a very reasonable price. The essential thing here is that McBeane have a promising young player on their roster at a very affordable price for the next several years while the Jets seemingly overpaid and in my view could have used that money elsewhere (like their offensive line) to strengthen their team overall.

Cutting Star is a possibility. The cap hit would not be that bad and can be spread over the next two years if that happens. Murphy has had a quietly good season. Star helped himself though with the deflection of the Dallas FG try at the end of the 1st half on Thanksgiving. Depends what happens the rest of the way and who the Bills draft early in rds 1 and 2 this offseason. I'm not expecting any big name signings in FA either. Allen and Edmonds are just in their 2nd seasons. Lorax will no doubt retire and Hughes will be gone by the time we need to extend Allen and Edmonds. Bills are in fine salary cap shape.

I think the Bills end up keeping Haushka unless he misses another "gimme" FG the rest of the way. There are no guaranteed better kickers out there right now. Haushka did make a longish FG against the Cowgirls after all. And Haushka is familiar with kicking in the wind conditions at New Era Field.

After this weeks Cleveland@Pittsburgh matchup both those teams play Baltimore and @Arizona. Cleveland plays the Bengals twice in addition to Baltimore and Arizona. Pittsburgh plays @Jets and home against the Bills in addition to Baltimore and Arizona. So I guess we root for Pittsburgh to beat Cleveland assuming Bills can beat Pittsburgh when we play them...

Maybe a better question is "How many other NFL teams would Brandon Beane trade Josh Allen to, for their QB straight up"?
