  1. Seriously, Which would you like to see in a Bills uniform next season?
  2. 78 Million is hardly a fail... Epic or otherwise
  3. There are no such things as "airtight stipulations" nor "iron clad guarantee". Not when LA has enough money to buy its way out of any lease that RW signs. When RW dies his heirs sell to the highest bidder. Case Closed.
  4. Yeah, because our #1 RB is out for the season....
  5. About the only good thing I'd say about our 70+ yr old GM is at least he didn't draft Gabbert #1 over Dareus... The money we have "invested" in Merriman could have been used to bring in a HEALTHY OLB who could have been rushing the opposing QB's every week... And none of the players Buddy drafted in year one are even close to be starters... This years draft looks better on paper so far but Dareus was a no brainer folks... And what idiot goes into a season without a legit back up center? (not one that you can slide over from another position thus creating a new hole at that position???) Look I was no great fan of Hangartner but don't expect me to believe they couldn't have brought in a halfway competent center prospect back in training camp, just in case. D-
  6. Exactly how many Superbowls have the Chargers/AJ Smith won again?
  7. There is, and has been room, for 2 good RB's on every NFL team. If Spiller has "it" he'll show it. Cream rises to the top. If not...
  8. I for one would like to see Spiller prove all of us so-called "Doubters" wrong. I think I speak for all of us Doubters when I say that. It would be great to see it happen. Look for example what Darren Sproles does for the Saints out of the backfield. If Spiller could achieve those results it would be a very useful weapon for the Bills to have and to use. But if he fails, over the rest of the season to impress, than I and others will judge him not just on these upcoming games, but over the two years he has been here. Gailey will be judging him on how well he performed in practice over these two years. And remember that he practices against one of the worst rated Defenses in the league, he should look pretty good, at least in practice...
  9. Does anyone still doubt the need for the Bills to draft an OLB first round in 2012?
  10. Not much can be done this year. But LB should be the focus of the offseason here...
  11. I say we worry more about drafting a good outside LBer in the first round. Fitz can run this show for the next 5 years if he stays healthy...
  12. I can recall alot of QB's with "rocket arms" who couldn't read defenses for sh*t. I'll take Fitz anyday...
  13. Whether or not Stevie's hit played a significant role in causing the ACL injury to Berry is debatable. The fact that the block was entirely legal and used by probrably every team in the NFL should be enough to end any controversy. And Stevie has no track record of being known as a dirty player either. It was an unfortunate injury for sure. But cmon, how many other ACL injuries have already taken place this season... If Berry's knee had been injured/weakened by Johnson's block how much of the responsibility goes on the Chief's trainers for letting him back on the field?
  14. There is simply no comparison between this years OL and that of 1998 for example... Both John Fina and Ruben Brown were 1st round draft picks. No one on this years line was picked anywhere near that high... Ruben went to multiple Pro Bowls... Nobody on today's OL has any realistic chance of going to the ProBowl... 1998 for example had Moulds and Reed as WRs... Today we have "Mr God, Why Did You Do Me Like That?" and nobody else who is proven... Stop drinkin the Kool Aid....
  15. BILLS ARE 0-0.... Yeah, and so are all 32 NFL teams... Big F***kin Deal.... AND BESIDES YOURSELF, WHO ELSE HAS SAID THE BILLS ARE GOING TO GO 0-16??? SO TAKE THAT CRYSTAL BALL, TURN IT SIDEWAYS(OR ANY OTHER WAY), AND ..... BY THE WAY, JUST FOR THE RECORD, YOUR PREDICTION FOR THE BILLS SEASON IS????
  16. WE'RE MISERABLE???? TRY "WE HAVE A MISERABLE FOOTBALL TEAM; ESPECIALLY THE FRONT OFFICE".... First of all, I've been making this same argument for weeks now. Nobody around here has the kahones to answer the question. But you left out one thing. HOW MANY SEASONS HAVE THE BILLS BEN ABLE TO DRAFT 3 NFL CALIBER STARTERS IN ONE OFFSEASON?
  17. Believe me, God wouldn't want to be connected with this football team...
  18. The question I raised, was based on the writer's observation that our OL is basically incapable of giving Spiller what he needs to be successful (play in space was the writer's terminology). So if the writer was correct, it makes Spiller a wasted draft pick. Sorry, if the truth hurts... Bulaga was starting by mid-season. He was drafted with the idea that he would takeover eventually for Chad Clifton, the Packers Starting LT. I don't know about you, but I would prefer an every down OT whether LT or RT over a RB who will be spending significant amounts of time on the bench again this season from the looks of it... Many of us wanted Bulaga at the time of the draft. So this is NOT hindsight as you are implying. I can remember Buddy saying right after Spiller was drafted that Spiller would "create excitement". Does "create excitement" = SELL TICKETS? I'd rather have an every down player than a 3rd down RB... How much "excitement"/tickets has Spiller created/sold??? It's interesting to note that as of today, NOT ONE of Buddy's picks from last year is starting... NOT ONE.
  19. Fill me in, please. I'm all ears... Exactly what IS your perception of "REALITY" here??
  20. Sounds like picking Spiller instead of an OL like Bulaga was a mistake then, NO?
  21. Just remember they actually finished beneath us in the final standings... and most of the other teams with bad OL didn't finish much higher in the standings as well... In general we all fit under the category of BAD TEAMS....
  22. Actually, I don't remember seeing anything but some speculation that perhaps Lee might have asked for a trade. If you have a source/link on this please post it for all of our benefit or else admit that you don't know this for a fact and are just speculating... Even if Lee was simply a midlevel player or avg player, that is no reason to get rid of him until a viable replacement/improvement is available. Right now we don't know whether we have a viable replacement on hand...
  23. Free Agency? You mean like Cornell Green? But gee, Free Agency costs money....
