  1. WELL SAID! I couldn't agree more... Gil Brandt and Tex Schramm were the epitome of what a FO is all about... They didn't get to be "America's Team" for nothing... And the fact that he is the ONLY Guru who has won a Super Bowl says it all...
  2. http://blogs.sun-sentinel.com/sports_football_dolphins/2012/04/whats-the-ideal-receiver-for-the-miami-dolphins.html
  3. The only realistic trade would be between Miami/Cleveland and Minnesota to bag Tannehill... Khalil simply isn't worth the price you'd have to pay IMHO...
  4. I had that same thought. My guess would be that you would have to cough up your highest pick (assuming you had two in the 1st round) and am sure the trading for extra picks would not be allowed either... Be nice if you could though! But I like the idea and wouldn't mind coughing up the pick with the exeption that I think He is asking for too much $$$. Is he worth more than Fitzgerald???
  5. http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/bills-nfl/article767409.ece Detailing Mario's contract...
  6. Personally, OT at #10 would be fine. But if what you really want is a stud wide receiver. Sign Mike Wallace and give Pittsburgh our #1 pick... Really, could you draft a better WR at #10???
  7. What happens to the #90 and Kelsay who currently wears it...

  9. http://wgr550.com/Source--Bills-expect-to-sign-Williams--Meachem-wit/12537334 HOLY SH$T!!!!!
  10. If you don't mind too much, maybe we could wait to give the Bills credit until AFTER they sign Mario...
  11. I like Martin as well. Does the prospect of Manning in Miami change things though? The Bills could go all out to bring in V.Jax to pair with Stevie and TE Chandler and get the offense fine tuned by drafting Martin @ LT...
  12. That brings up an interesting question - Does anyone know what the attendance figures are since Nix has been in charge? Remember, the Bills brought in a washed up WR (T.O.) for that very reason (to sell tickets) Maybe signing V.Jax for $11 Mill Per Season isn't such a bad idea... Draft a LT #1 and maybe Fitz will have the time to throw deep to V.Jax...
  13. None of the guys you just mentioned can be counted upon for Jack....
  14. Nor is he "The Solution" either... BECAUSE RALPH WON'T PAY HIM $15-20MILL PER SEASON!!!!!
  15. Not Wayne - V.Jax, Garcon or Meecham possibly but Wayne is more of a possession WR than a Speed Burner IMO...
  16. If the Bills were gonna do anything, keeping Nix's words in mind of the Bills possibly acquiring a "Difference Maker" early on in Free Agency, wouldn't a Vincent Jackson make more sense? Why cough up a #1 for Wallace when you could just sign Jackson for free? (in terms of draft picks, not money obviously) That would leave the Bills to draft a LT #1 and follow that up in rds 2 and 3 with a DE/OLB combo...
  17. I thought it was a BUSINESS???? And like Gordon Gecko says "Greed Is Good!"
  18. make that ALOT MORE $$$ - Mario is going where the BIG $$$ is... The Bills don't pay out that kinda $$$
  19. STUPID, STUPID.... AND WHY WOULD ST LOUIS WANNA PAY FITZ ALL THAT MONEY TO BACK UP BRADFORD?????
  20. This whole thread is F-cked. It's not a problem of overdrafting or underdrafting at any one or two positions. It's the quality of the players you are getting since 2000 in those 1st two rounds. Passing up Orakpo for Maybins? Drafting RB's like McGahee (who we knew was gonna have to sit out that first season?) Lynch (Mr HitnRun)... and now Spiller? (who can't beat out Fred but WANTS to start!) I am not going to go over the litany of bad early picks this organization has made yet again, but suffice to say, until this organization starts drafting better in those early rounds especially, this team won't get much better... And how bout picking up a backup center so that if your #1 guy gets injured you don't have to move guys all around and out of their natural postions creating chaos everywhere!... It's not exactly rocket science - especially when you are 19+million under the cap as PFT is now reporting...
  21. And lets not forget the contributions of Special Teams play too... Football is a TEAM SPORT.... Offense, Defense & Special Teams all need to contribute to the victory... A letdown in any one of these areas in any one playoff game can spell disaster... A missed FG for example...
  22. I hate to say this because it makes me sound old (I am - But you'll all join me soon enough) But I remember when we (Bills Fans) felt that way (hatred) about MIAMI...
  23. Bill Polian II?
  24. I used Vincent Jackson as such because right now he seems likely to be available, and as we both agree is super talented (certainly equal to or better than Stevie Johnson and minus all the drama) and depending on co$t might be a wiser choice. Some people will feel different for different reasons... I am curious how deep the support for Stevie is around here?
  25. I agree that Vincent Jackson is super talented. And there are in fact several other FA WR's who may be available. Assuming we can have only one, doesn't it make sense to at least shop around and find out if one of these guys might be interested in playing here? Let's get the most bang for our buck...
