  1. I agree with you that QBs can be drafted anywhere thats what i meant with my earlier post. There's just as much upside potential to be had anywhere in the draft, don't necessarily have to reach at 10 these could be available, not sure i'm trading for any of them but I do like McCarron.
  2. Which of them has been calling plays in the huddle, running a pro style offense, taking snaps under center? Those things come up every year. Of last years bunch, Goff didn't call plays or take snaps from center so he had a bigger learning curve and it showed. I'm not calling Goff a bust by any means, I think he's smart enough to continue to progress but it would help if a guy had that already to go with the physical skills.
  3. i'm sayin? What the heck?
  4. so whats really going on? I've seen it both ways now, whaley wants mcdermott and pegs want lynn and pegs want mcdermott and whaley wants lynn. Which is it?
  5. its a crapshoot no matter where they pick, better to have a tt on the roster just in case
  6. it would make a ton of sense to keep TT and draft a QB to go with Cardale, if someone flashes TT is the backup. Maybe too simple.
  7. twitter is a good way to build anticipation, more clicks later
  8. Lets say the Bills want to draft a QB at 10 they MIGHT find their guy at 10 but statistically speaking since 1999 the QBs taken at 10 or later haven't fared so well. Guys like Daunte Culpepper, Cade McNown, Matt Leinhart, Blaine Gabbert and Christian Ponder were all taken 10-12 or so. Only Big Ben, taken 11th in 2005 has been successful with Jay Cutler 11th in 2006 having moderate success a couple seasons. Go back into the teens and it gets even worse. Kyle Boller at 19, Josh Freeman 17, EJ 16, Chad Pennington 18. Only Joe Flacco in 2008 at 18 has had moderate success. 20s, laughable besides Aaron Rodgers and to a much lesser extent Jason Campbell with guys like JP Loserman, Tim Tebow(ok he had the tebow factor but sucked), Rex Grossman, Brady Quinn and Johnny Manziel(ugh cleveland lol) Heck even the very top of the draft is filled with duds, Akili Smith 3, Jamarcus Russel 1, Tim Couch 1(ugh Cle), Joey Harrington 3. So if Trubisky is available at 10 is he a Roethlisberger or a Gabbert? One things for certain, Whaley and the scout team need to get it right.
  9. whether or not it made a difference its a story because the media made it one
  10. I doubt the Pegulas just said "hey, we're remorseful." Whoever gave the info for the story is the one who deemed them remorseful. So are they? Or is someone telling a story?
  11. Maybe what they said was. Hey we had to protect our financial interests and with the impending coaching change we wanted our incoming coach to have a say in the decision to keep TT or move on before next season? End of story.
  12. sammy would be destroying beckham with the same amount of targets and opportunities and is the better, less risky personality
  13. he normally catches that and a couple others he had his hands on, he wasn't good in the game and from reports after of banging his head against a door and punching a wall, yeah, better make an appointment with your psychiatrist bud!
  14. they mentioned how pumped he was at the game too lol...welp is right
  15. Dolphins last won a playoff game in 2000. Since then they have lost 27-0 20-9 27-3 and 30-12 with a total of 2 tds in that time. Raiders made it for the first time since they lost in the superbowl in 2002. Lions haven't won a playoff game since 1991 and have only been three times since 1999. Losing 48-27 24-20 and 26-6.
  16. they choked it away with three straight turnovers atleast two that were while they were driving, they had a chance to make it a game but didn't
  17. I expected more from the Giants
  18. Wanted a Cook TD for my playoff fantasy team dummit
