Fitz better get 4000 yards,since that will likely put whoever is at 4000 yards likely about 15th in the NFL in yards passing per game. Bills were 31st in 3rd down conversions and were 5th worst in 3 and outs last year,has to show everyone how dreadfully inconsistent the Bills play calling and even worst how bad at QB they are.

I am not a Fitz hater at all, he just stinks as a starting NFL QB, and there is nothing that can be shown he is even close to average.He basically sucks. Bills would win more if Young was starting, no matter what his stats are. Even Jackson wins more than Fitzpatrick, who is a loser, has nothing clutch about him at all. Fitzpatrick has shown that anyone but him is a better option because he just is not good, has never been good, and has shown by his career and his 4 seasons in a row of extended play as a starter that he will never get better. The Bills are better off playing anyone else.

Fitz was 22nd in QB rating, just behind Tarvasis Jackson, Kevin Kolb, Matt Hassleback, and way behind Matt Moore. 2010 Fitz was also 22nd. 2009 Fitz was 26th. 2008 Fitz was 31st, he qualified for passing stats the last 4 seasons. He flat out has sucked, and is no where near Eli Manning, who is stone cold clutch. You fail comparing Fitz to Kelly, you can only compare Fitz and his numbers against his contemporaries, that is all that makes sense.

Was there as much access to drugs way back when? Likely not. I guess if you just say weed, but there are so many options today. Also, kids listened to their parents. Drugs can be very dangerous. Society is so different, we are a very mobile society too, and heck, I bet at any 1 point in time you can pull over a person and 1 of 4 or 5 times they are wasted on something, whether it be booze or some kind of drug. Fitz is dreadful. His 3800 yards puts him only 16th in the NFL in yards per game of qualified passers, so regardless of team history, he is simply average in that category. The combinations of Locker/Hassleback, Grossman/Beck and Palmer/Campbell had more yet people think Fitz actually accomplished something? Makes me chuckle. He also led the Bills to 2nd worst 3rd down conversion percentage and the 5th most 3 and outs. He had many more negatives than positives last year, and really is just par for the course for a backup QB thrust into starting who just is not capable of being that good of a QB, even though he has the 15th most starts of any person living on planet earth in the last 4 NFL seasons in which he was the starter each season for the majority of the season. I sure hope he plays better, because he has been a bad QB for 7 years now.

Fitz gave the ball away 20 times in 13 games, he is a very unreliable player at a position where you need someone reliable.

New England gave Fitz yards all game and that is why he had some yards passing (only 3 points on all running plays BTW), Bills took Brohm out or else I am sure he could have got some garbage time stats too. Bills know Jets are a huge blitzing team and were going to kill Brohm from the start, Brohm looked no worse with 1 week with #1 reps than Fitz did the week before in his 14th week with #1 reps. He was fading fast, now the front office has sold you how good Fitz is based on Brohm's play and that is sad. Fitz is like eating dog food, and then you are fed dog crap (Brohm) and somehow you came to love to love dog food in process and it is sad and makes no sense. Bills could have won 4 games last year if Brohm played all year, if Edwards played all year, who cares, keep in mind, in 3 of the wins the Bills had 17, 14, and 13 points, Fitz ended up being at about the very bottom of all qualifying QB for stats in almost every category.

Those stars are the favorites in Vegas to win next year and will be (of there is basketball) for the next 5 years and likely will win at least 3 of the next 5. Translation, you need stars. If not you won't even make the playoffs.

I don't see the big deal as of right now, truly when was it clear Obama was a clear and front guy that was going to win the Dem nod? I mean there is no clear Rep front runner, for the Dems last time it seemed forever that Hillary was going to win, but Edwards was there and it seemed a decent number liked Richardson. They sure play hard for Fitzy, hard enough to win 4 games against 4 bad teams and that was it. Fitz is the best we got right now and better than Edwards, Losman, Borhm, Brown, and even better than Me, but that surely does not make him an even average NFL QB capable of leading a team to the playoffs, he is a nice backup QB, and that is it.

Harvey, it is clear you don't watch the games and know what really happened and are ignoring that the Bills offense went 3 and out on 4 of the first 6 drives against the Jets in game 1, and in game 2 the Bills also played some backups too. You are criticizing Brohm on that game but giving Fitz no blame for his poor play either, didn't Fitz show us what a bad QB looked like against the Patriots just 1 week earlier? Jets also blitzed every single play, throwing Brohm in there was actually not the most fair thing to me, the season was over after 8 games. Why wait until week 17? The difference in the JEts game in the 2nd half was the Bills defense was tired from the offense DOING NOTHING at all. You are clueless, 4 of the first 6 drives the OFFENSE went 3 and out and punted and sent the defense right back on the field. Don't you understand what this does? Brohm looked no worse than Fitz did the week before, do you even watch the games? How come Brohm gets no benefit of the doubt you give Fitz when making excuses or him? You fell for it, hook, line and sinker. Fitz could have played that game but it was a calculated mercy sitting to sell fans like you the lasting memory of how poor Brohm looked and try to make you forget how bad Fitz looked just one week before, both were awful.

In the post before this you as a backup QB in 13 games, well, I contend he was not the backup. He was unquestioned starter as of week 3, they cut the other guy. Fitz and Edwards shared 1st team reps for most all of last year's camp BTW. Also, Fitz was hurt for the last game, but seriously, it was more of a mercy sitting than anything, it was a convenient way to see how bad Brohm was against the Jets and try to make you forget how much Fitz even was the week before against a far worse defense the Patriots. Brohm was no worse against a full out blitz Jets team and turned the ball over with 3 INTS and 1 FUMBLE. the week before Fitz had 3 INTS and 2 FUMBLES and got 3 points. You also realize Fitz was dreadful against the Jets earlier in the season too, right? I will use your logic. Brohm did not get to work with what Fitz got to work with earlier against the Jets, however, Fitz still sucked, the first 4 of 6 drives were 3 and out and then punt. Bills did not move the ball, it was a game at halftime still and it was because of the defense, and that defense got tired from the lack of Bills offense.

Lots of bikers where I live and they are a pain in the ass. They seem to like the long and windy roads that I find a re good cut threw roads, but often these roads have no shoulder, and there one lane in each direction, and the bikers hog the lane and force the cars to go 10 miles and hour. I agree. However, what if someone is just walking around smoking pot or is smoking pot in any public place? I highly doubt bars are ever going to change to be places that allow pot smoking inside, that is only those medical pot places that allow that. I doubt they serve booze there too. No bar would be allowed to sell pot so they would never allow it. I really do not see the dumb asses who get caught smoking pot in their car in the park still getting just a slap on the wrist. I understand decriminalization, but that does not allow people to go on around smoking pot where ever they want. I think you still get harsher penalties if you are in, say a public park and there are kids there and you are smoking weed. For the most part people that smoke weed in the privacy of their own home never have problems anyway.

Chan is not a good coach. Look at all the Georgia Tech guys in the NFL, lots of really good players, he recruited well, but is a stubborn old man who thinks his offense can be run by mediocre to crap QBs, he has a very readable and distinct history of repeating the same thing.

All I know is even if he doesn't make it as a QB I see the success that Brad Smith has had with Jets, Pryor is better than he is. Smith was a 4th. Bills still have limited size at WR, this guy could be good at the goal line if we to play WR there.

Fitz is not 2nd tier, there is no way he rates higher than Garrard, Hassleback, Campbell or Orton.
