  1. I would equate him signing with the Buffalo Bills as Reggie White signing with the GB Packers.
  2. If I were in Rodgers shoes, I would be looking at two decisions that effect me The decision to draft a Qb in the first round, when there were needs that should have been addressed with a higher priority. The decision to go for a field goal instead of going for the touchdown. I would come to the conclusion that the Coach and Front office do not trust me. There is a loss of trust. Once that is lost it is time to move on. I would either demand a trade, or retire. I doubt he ever wears a Green Bay Packers Jersey in a game ever again.
  3. I have been following football since the 1976 playoffs. I have noticed a pattern of teams growing from, a has been, to a playoff team, onto a Super Bowl contender, to one expected to make the Super Bowl and win the Super Bowl. And then there is the surprise OMG everything fell into place, and that team wins the Super Bowl. It does not happen often, the Pats on 2001 with Brady's first win, they grew into one after that but no one thought they would be headed to where they ended up. With that said, this Bills team has paid its dues to get to where they are at right now. The question to me is, do they still need a little more seasoning to make the next step? Is there one more heartbreak in order to push them to the next level? Or is this the team that moves the needle to SB Champion? I believe they are on the top of the fence ready to put their two feet on the other side of the land called Super Bowl Champion, I think they win it it this year, they have all the pieces, they are relatively healthy, and the team they are playing is a little banged up. Home field advantage is not what it was a year ago for the Chiefs, and this Bill's team is very hungry, and playing very disciplined football. If they keep playing turnover, penalty free football they win this game regardless of Mahomes or not. GO BILLS
  4. I grew up in South Garland. Went to Centerville Elementary, Brandenburg Middle and one qtr at SGH
  5. I was thinking the same thing, however I was more along the lines of dressing Yeldon and Williiams and let McKenzie handle returns. But I am not sure about that even
  6. We have two seasons in section 122. We opted out this year.
  7. Gonna be a Patriot in........
  8. I turn it off when Maddie is on, she is unbearable to listen to IMO
  9. Tom Cousineau got us Jim Kelly lol
  10. When he comes back, he will get injured again, he is a very talented lb'r who has not been healthy even 1 season.
  11. I think the reasons they are being destroyed on defense is a total failure on three fronts: The Front Office : By not addressing the Linebacking unit with quality players, it magnified the decision to not resign Phillips and Lawson even more. Combine that with "Star" opting out for the season it has made this their largest albatross. Coaching: The scheme they are running game to game is puzzling to say the least. It could be that the personnel is so horrible, they are just throwing anything up against the wall hoping something sticks. The players are getting not only beaten one on one, they are in the wrong position, the wrong everything. A perfect example was last week when Josh Norman was beaten in the back of the end zone on a fade route. They practice that play a 100 times a week to defend, yet how with the WR only 4 yards from the back of the end zone and running out of it, does Norman not look back for the ball. Not only is that a picture of failure on the player, it is a picture of failure on the coaches not drilling this play into their brains on how to defend it. Players: A total lack of commitment to play. It is seen on almost every play. Trey Edmonds not filling the hole and taking the RB head on for a tackle, or not taking on a lineman and ripping through him for a tackle. Tre White being beaten more this year than all years he has played combined, lack of discipline, etc...I could go on, the point is clear enough. I think they really need to get a MLB, move Edmonds to the outside and let him rush the passer, it solves two problems. They need an NFL CB, not a project or a has been, and they need to go get a DT that can stop the run. Everything else would fall into place. I doubt it happens at this point, but one can hope.
  12. Sounds like our Quarterback lol
  13. I like Milano, but why sign him when he can't stay on the field. It's not his fault it's just ridiculous.
  14. If we get to play the Jets for 19 games in a row this year we win the Super Bowl
  15. I wanted to see two things out of this game, Allen not giving the ball away while running or making bad decisions with the football and Edmunds stuffing the run when he was the focal point of the offense running the football. Allen made really good decisions in his reads and throwing the football, a few throws got away from him, however he threw the ball and moved the offense really well. But he is a disaster with the football when he runs. He makes amazing runs, but then he gives the ball up way too many times in a game. You do that in a playoff game and you get what happened against the Texans last year. I was very disappointed in that aspect of his game. Edmunds is still a liability at the point of attack when the offense runs right at him. Side to side away from him he is a beast. Good teams will make us pay. We will still win more than we lose but if those 2 points do not change we will not go all the way. You can not give the ball away so easy like he does against good teams.
  16. This isn't an argument, or a potshot, it is an observation from myself as an opinion. I know they can beat the majority of teams with this defense, but they have issues that a good coach will take advantage of. Benefit of the doubt or not. I hope I am wrong and you are correct, and they roll through every offense in the league. The secondary is amazing, the dl is solid, the lb corps is weak. When a good running team that can also throw the ball comes up against our defense it will be a tough win for us. That's all I am saying
  17. Yes, i do, it was the Jets...With Adam as the play caller. These games count in the standings no doubt, but if you want to win a Super Bowl, what we watched today will not cut it. When you raise the bar of compete the level of the standard of play needs to raised also.
  18. He will be just fine, the wind was all over the place today in WNY, it is a learning curve. Stick with him he will fight his way through it.
  19. And that is why I just don't understand the lack of going after another game playing LB to fill this defense out with. Edmunds just get's absolutely owned at the point of attack on runs at him. He would be a devastating all time outside lb'r in this league, but he is overwhelmed at the run stopping point. They need a MLB and all our LB'ing woes go away IMO..
  20. I was looking forward to grilling some well-aged primo steaks, but it looks like my plans of a nice day of tailgating in my backyard, and patio is being destroyed by this downpour. Just like this whole year has been, LOL. But alas, there is still the game, Pizza and wings it is.😃
  21. I went with Cleveland, taking a shot that their QB puts it together and their defense plays up to their potential.
  22. Fall asleep at the wheel, run off the road, kill a young child, then our superior intelligent Governor turns the 33 from 55 to 35. Because we all know the faster you drive your car the more apt you to fall asleep at the wheel.
  23. I would rather not have the National Anthem sung or played at any sporting event. Play it when it means something, July 4th, Memorial day etc. It is overused and it devalues the significance and sacrifice Americans have made for it. It should not be symbol to protest it should be an honor to hear and salute. If you woukd like to protest, hold a sign and march with your fellow protesters.
  24. They probably shot him out of view
