I think we need to add a FS to go along with DE and OLB. Ko Simpson rarely makes tackles let alone INT's. If we got a legitimate starting FS, Whitner moves back to SS where he naturally should be. Then Bryan Scott can be used as a super sub/guy we use in specific matchups. I think Scott is good, he makes plays when he's out there, but he forces Whitner to play FS. I like the Free Agent FS, Whitner SS, Scott 3rd safety combo better.

Why would Bill Cowher want to come here? He could go pretty much anywhere he wants. Buffalo is at the bottom of the totem pole. The organization is a mess. You can't just "go get" any coach you want. They have to have a desire to come here. I really doubt Cowher is thinking, "man I can't wait to get to Buffalo".

I have to say I would be all for a little bit of shuffling on the O-Line. The Preston-Whittle C-RG combination might be the worst in the NFL. It's weird, I was only 8 years old the day that OJ was acquitted of murder. But I can still remember, and picture, an after school program counselor coming outside the school as we were playing wall-ball telling another counselor that OJ had been acquitted.
