Lots of teams have a 4-4 package. Having it as a package and having it as your base defense are two totally different things.

Any decent NFL QB would destroy a base defense with just 3 DB's on the field, that is why no one would use it as their base.

Edwards will start at end with either Stroud, Williams or Spencer Johnson. NT is obviously still a need. I think you can cross Rolando McClain off our board with the signing of Davis because McClain is an ILB. If schobel returns, you may be able to cross OLB off the list for the draft as well. I think we are going Offense with our first pick, then nabbing one of the Nose tackles still on the board in the second round.

OK, but I would say with Lynch and Jackson, we are already in the upper third of the league as far as running back tandems go. As far as QB talent, we have got to be in the bottom 5. Thats why Clausen is the better pick (I am of the opinion he is going to be a good NFL QB).

this thread gave me the LuLz seriously though, from what I saw of VTech, he looked good. Not top end of the draft good, but a nice mid round pick who competed well against good competition.

Not so much. I don't think the Chiefs' O line coach was spending time breaking down Oakland's O line when they were going to be playing each other. Offensive coaches tend to study the opposing defense.

12 year vet who only had 5 starts before he went to Oakland...hopefully depth. Atleast they're doing something.

Sal hasn't even confirmed this himself. I've only seen on poster who claimed to hear Sal say it. Also, Sal posts all the time on BillsZone and he hasn't said a peep about it over there either.
