Training camp will not be delayed. Signing free agents will. What will happen is training camps will open almost immediately for all players under contract. Free agents will sort of be like rookies always were- they will show up as soon as they are signed. Free agency and training camp will be happening at the same time.

You don't have to play badly to get out of town. When his contract is uP he can leave whether he is a pro bowler or bench warmer. But with his lack of production no one will actually sign this guy.
If they agree to a handshake deal today that's great, but it really doesn't matter if it's done today, as long as it's done by Wednesday so they can vote thursday. We may get an announcement on a handshake deal but there is still going to be a few days of waiting for all the procedural things to go thru.
It is not a rookie scale, it is a rookie cap, so salaries will not be slotted, they are still up for negotiation. Each team will have a certain amount of money they can use to Pay rookies. How they divide that up is up to the team.
If we lose poz we better sign another starting quality ILB. The thought of andra Davis or akin ayodele starting next to a third round rookie scares the hell outta me.
