Darrent Williams was murdered. Justin Miller made some pro bowls as a kick returner and Kelvin Hayden has had a decent career. Vincenzo Jackson was clearly the best of this little list.
Pretty sure Nix WAS NOT the GM when we traded up for Levitre. I think that was the last draft of the Russ Brandon debacle. The Spiller/Troup/Carrington draft was Nix's first as GM.
More recently Dave W said he wanted smaller faster LB's so LD fits that description.
Just from watching a lot of college ball I do like Travis Lewis though. He certainly passed the eye test.
He played special teams and the rare mop up duty including a sack vs Washington. He didn't get many meaningful defensive reps but that's because he was backing up Barnett and sheppard. He is not a 34 OLB but he is a fit outside in the 43 IMO
Thanks for the suggestion. I was a youngin' the last time I was up to the dome and wasn't dealing with driving, parking, etc.
Is there a lot on Marshall or do you normally just find a spot on the street?
Headed to the game Saturday vs uconn. It's been about 11 years since I've been up for a game. Is parking at Manley fieldhouse and taking the shuttle the way to go? Anything we should check out pre or post game?
Incredible? Seriously?
I thought he was ok. Average in run game, a bit slow. Below average in passing game.
And if he was slow in the 34, that's trouble as the MLB in a 43. I hope I am wrong
