  1. There are two or three QBs who could go to this Eagles roster as they are currently constructed and lose 0-2 games a year for their whole career.
  2. That's my pick. For all your reasons, plus winning it all on the Dolphins' field would be hilarious. Me too, but that's not the spirit of the question!
  3. If the Bills made it to the big game and you also happened to win an all-inclusive Super Bowl package -- tickets to the game, airfare, lodging, and let's say an additional $2K in cash to blow on whatever -- in which realistic Super Bowl city would you prefer the game be played?
  4. My theory is that they're going to go back to those full-time, with the alternate being the 90s uniform, when the new stadium opens. By refusing to wear either, they're trying to create a huge demand for both.
  5. He was awesome in 2023, but he's always dinged up. We probably shouldn't bring aboard the type of player willing to chastise a kicker over missing FGs either, to be honest.
  6. Me too. Good value at +280.
  7. I bet Xavier Worthy to win MVP at +3100 because if I get yet another kick in the balls as a Bills fan, I'm at least gonna get paid.
  8. Rex Grossman was an MVP candidate for the first half of 2006, and Jake Delhomme was legitimately good during the Panthers' runs. The NFL was already well into the era where you had to have decent QB play to have a chance, and Jauron was saddled with JP Losman and Trent Edwards while he was here. A "disaster of a HC" is ridiculous. He went 13-3 in Chicago with Jim Miller as his starting QB.
  9. He kept the Bills from being a total laughingstock during an era when the ownership situation was precarious (at best) and our front office was an absolute clown show. RIP, Coach.
  10. Ding Ding Ding! Garrett trade would be catastrophic. Multiple high picks and a huge extention only to watch McDermott make him "set the edge" rather than rush the passer during every playoff game.
  11. Sneakers with suits look absolutely horrific. Beane in particular should be ashamed of himself.
  12. It was a perfect pass that would lead to a TD 95% of the time, and he just came out of nowhere to grab it at the last second. Probably was the dagger that ended that game, even though it happened early on.
  13. Easier said then done, obviously. We're in Year 9 of the Process, and it's gonna be different this time around, I swear!
  14. Their head coach is much better than ours, though. Needs to be taken into account.
  15. All those picks and resources allocated to the defense, and the line and secondary are still in constant states of flux. Starting to get tiresome.
  16. Roger Goodell, I suppose. Are you familiar with how playoff series were officiated in the NBA during the David Stern era? It's a very doable task, if that is indeed the goal.
  17. His offense was pretty cool to watch his first year in Philly.
  18. One silver lining to the Bills annual crushing playoff loss is that I actually don't want to watch them again for at least seven months.
  19. Betting the ML on the Chiefs for the majority of the season would've allowed you to net like 25% of your initial wager. You're not exactly getting even odds there. The argument, I guess, lies in what the definition of "rigged" is. Officials can be told to favor one team, and another team's performance can still overcome that. The outcome isn't predetermined like in pro wrestling.
  20. I don't think it's rigged, but outcomes can be "encouraged" to some degree. People didn't make a lot of money on KC because they didn't cover the spread much this year.
  21. Sure, but they've always had that. They're trying to grow the audience. That's why they take a home game from teams every year to play important matchups overseas. It's a complete negative from a fair competition standpoint, but they do it anyway.
  22. The American male football fan market is completely saturated. The only way to grow the sport is to concentrate on global efforts (i.e. playing games overseas) and making the game more popular with women (i.e. Tay Tay on the TV). It's not the most unfounded conspiracy theory.
  23. Really all there is to it. They refuse to even hire full-time refs. By eliminating the gray areas of officiating, they also eliminate their ability to "massage" games in the manner they wish. This was a huge problem in the NBA, even before Tim Donaghy, and Goodell seems to have adopted it. Always thought it was odd how close nearly every Super Bowl became after he took over, for example.
  24. This is what actually happened. McDermott went into playoff choke-job mode and put Allen on the shelf for the entire second half because he was so terrified of turning the ball over. Then he instituted his full-time prevent defense which didn't even make an attempt an attempt to go after Jackson or do anything aggressive. You can't get outplayed if your coach doesn't allow you to play in the first place.
  25. I don't think they're capable of doing it, to be honest. They've put tons of effort into building the D-line and secondary, and their only true standout is Benford, a guy they stumbled upon in the 6th round.
