McDermott statement in presser is telling concerning our offense
T.E. replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall
Most mismatched coach and QB in NFL history. It's led to a form of purgatory that will continue moving forward. -
The quick slant was our bread-and-butter play with Diggs and Beasley, especially on 3rd down, and Brady completely abandoned it.

I really dislike what they are as a team. Soft, lifeless, no fire whatsoever. It is obvious that they desperately need a complete culture change at this point along with a revamped roster. They had their chance and blew it. Time to give someone else a crack at it in the probably three-year window where Allen is still an elite QB.

He doesn't excel at anything. I don't care about PFF grades; let me hear his name mentioned on the broadcast more than once a month.

DEs who can't rush the passer are borderline worthless, in my opinion. Who cares how well he sets the edge or whatever? You don't give those guys giant contracts.

11/9/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Dolphins Post Game Thread

I don't think he even wants to play until he's that old. We've got 2-3 season, tops, to win the Super Bowl, in my opinion. -
Curtis Samuel has five targets on the year. Elijah Moore has nine. Knox came into the game with six. Seems like if the current guys getting all the looks aren't producing, perhaps try calling the number of other receivers who have produced in the past.

When you watch other games, it seems like most teams have a pass offense that runs more effectively than ours. A good mix of plays, not too much predictability, receivers being schemed open, etc. The Bills offense makes everything look difficult. I'm not even sure what their objective is. They don't go downfield, they don't throw slants, they don't throw to backs. It almost feels like there's no actual gameplan outside of "Make it happen, Josh." -
I think they also keep injured guys out who could probably play but to whom they want to give an extra week's rest. "It's okay, we're only playing (bad team)." Don't think the players aren't picking up on this and assuming the game will be a cakewalk.

I think a lot the older players have tuned him out too, unfortunately. The whole thing has gotten stale.

This regime is bad at picking offensive coordinators

Are board members being paid millions of dollars per year to do nothing else but make smart football personnel decisions? -
I guess we shouldn't even try to win the Super Bowl because the owner has made some questionable hires for a hockey team. Sounds great.

When your teams consistently come out flat and struggle against bad squads, and his have for years, that's a coaching issue.

Yeah, he will never top blowing what would've been a Super Bowl-winning season because he has less time management acumen than a 4th grader who plays a lot of Madden.

I think he and McDermott don't get along because Daboll actually tried to utilize a star QB as a passer. -

They should've done this after the KC playoff loss at home in 2023. Could've transitioned to a number of good HC candidates and chose to stick with the status quo. -

To Reeves' credit, they went to three SBs, and it was during an era when everyone was run-heavy. -

I like the conspiracy theory that it's so the league can massage the outcome of the game easier when they don't have to worry about a surprise one in the middle of the game. -

All defense on picks 1-5 with an obvious need in offense. -

The most mismatched QB and coaching staff I've ever seen. Can't remember the last time a team got an elite passer and elected to move towards a ball-control, grind-it-out offense. -

How many consecutive seasons does this team have to lay multiple absolute stinkers to inferior teams, where it doesn't even look like they have a clue, before it sinks in for some people? He has shown consistently that his teams cannot ply for extended streaks without total brainfart games. I do not see other elite teams having anywhere near the number of off weeks that we do. -

Throwing the ball behind the line of scrimmage when you need two yards is inexcusable
