I'm all for people blowing off some steam on days off from work, but that trip to go see the Yankees-Dodgers was very much a "We've got this upcoming game in the bag" move. This team has an issue with getting some momentum going and thinking they can coast. They aren't playing a traditional 2-5 team with Tua back.

McDermott wants them to be reactive than proactive, and it kills them at least once a month when a team decides that they'll just nickle-and-dime them all game.

McDermott got absolutely traumatized by that long Tyreek TD at the end of the 13 seconds game with about 1:40 left. Ever since that happened, his first objective has been to avoid giving up huge plays.

There was nothing to show that his shin hit in bounds before his knee clearly hit out-of-bounds. A small market team wouldn't have gotten that call in a million years.

His knee was clearly out, but they'll count it because it looks cool. Kinda the opposite of how a clean hit can still draw a personal foul if it's violent enough.

Odd and noticeable how they avoided saying Adams might have a concussion for so long after we all saw him land directly on his head at full speed.

Bills - 24 Dolphins - 21 Miami will have a lead at some point in the 4th quarter. This is their season, and they are going to fight pretty hard, I think.

Here's the thing - signing with Indy guaranteed that if any player on offense signed a bigger contract than him, he would get an immediate raise. It was absolutely done to make it impossible for the Bills to match, and that's why the poison pill is now outlawed, but it's a phenomenal clause to have as a player.

How can you be mad at a guy for getting a clause like that in his contract? He would've been insane to turn that down.

Diggs screaming at Allen on the sidelines in 2022 and then using his younger brother throughout most of 2023 to demand a trade really rubbed me the wrong way. He was given tons of money in Buffalo, not to mention a top-3 QB (at worst) who targeted him 10+ times a game. When he finally did successfully force his way out, they sent him to another good team with another great QB. I never like to see anyone get hurt, but I'm not exactly going to lose sleep over it either.
