  1. The era where a new coach got three years to implement his system is over, especially on teams with volatile owners. Lots of HCs were one-and-done after particularly bad years. Guy is trying to keep his job, and I don't blame him.
  2. I was kidding. Whatever happened to Pepper? I think he was on the Bills staff one year.
  3. Whoops, I meant the other coach. Pepper Johnson.
  4. Salah's being smart by not feeding Maye to the wolves immediately in a blowout behind a bad line, like the Bills did with Losman and Allen. Thankfully the latter was too good for it to matter.
  5. There have been so many Mike Williams wide receivers over the last 20 years that I honestly can't keep track anymore.
  6. Now I know how every non-Bills fan felt while watching that glorious game a week ago.
  7. If you lived anywhere in the Mid-Atlantic during the 90s and 2000s, it was almost impossible to run into a worse group of fans than Steeler guys. Obnoxious doofuses who thought putting on a faded Greg Lloyd jersey actually made them members of the team.
  8. Texting Jerod Mayo right now and telling him to put Maye in to make the game watchable.
  9. Rodgers looks very sharp. Jets will be formidable barring a bunch of injuries.
  10. Are good kickers way down on the priority list? There are teams that have blown games over the course of multiple seasons because they couldn't pin one down for awhile.
  11. I liked the short tradition they had where they wore them in the home game closest to Christmas.
  12. Always liked Ricky Watters as a kid. Great all purpose back, arguably the greatest SB performance ever. Kinda forgotten now.
  13. I wish all are games were at that time. I'm riding the struggle bus today, though a Dolphins ass-kicking is giving me the strength to power through.
  14. Do we win the last game of the season in Miami without their contributions, yes or no?
  15. Those guys won us the AFC East title last year with huge plays.
  16. He was the man in 2020 and 2021, but after his tantrum in the Cincinnati playoff game, there was an obvious cloud over the team. Is Diggs getting enough touches? How's his relationship with Allen? He became an albatross. Always hated how he got up after every catch and immediately started trashtalking the defender. Couldn't stand his "I'm HIM" nonsense. Just a tough guy to root for, and I'm glad I don't have to anymore. Give me Eric Moulds and Andre Reed any day of the week.
  17. If he went to, like, the Rams, that team would go to the Super Bowl.
  18. It's nice that the best player in franchise history doesn't have to worry about placating a headcase
  19. Selfish, me-first cancer got excised, and now the team looks looser than they've ever been in the McDermott era. No whining, no worries about if certain players are getting enough touches...they're just going out and doing what it takes to win. It's fun to watch them again, and that hasn't been the case, at least for me, for a few years.
  20. Ty Johnson is a reliable player. Not a speedster, not an every down guy, but consistently reliable.
  21. They are just much more innovative than us with offensive playcalling. Been that way for a few years, but Allen overcomes it.
