Knox had 20 receiving TDs his first four seasons at the TE position. Chris Olave, who most Bills fans coveted to fix this offense, has 13 TDs over the same time period as his team's #1 WR. Don't act like Knox wasn't somewhat effective before Brady took the playcalling reigns.

I remain perplexed about the usage of Knox. Guy used to be a TD machine, and now he doesn't seem to get any looks.

Feel bad for his family, who apparently called the police to alert them that he was having a mental episode before the attempt was made to pull him over. The combination of fear and total helplessness in a moment like that must be awful.

They almost certainly would've taken a defensive player with that pick if Beane hadn't traded it away after waiting for McDermott to go to bed that night.

That's probably exactly what happened. The same reason, I suspect, for why they traded out of the first round in 2024 and had to settle for Coleman. Literally couldn't afford a 1st-round salary that year. Kinda bleak.

There is a pretty big talent chasm between McDaniels/Welker/Gronk/Hernandez and Brady/Shakir/Kincaid/Knox.

Deebo Samuel will be a great fit in two ways -- he is a redundant slot WR and, as an added bonus, one of the more injury-prone players in football!
