  1. I guess I'm in the minority watching network news. Steve Hartman has this regular segment every Friday night toward the end of the CBS News half hour. Sometimes it is replayed on CBS Sunday Morning. The stories are always about something positive with good people doing good things. It's such a contrast to the rest of the negative news that gets reported incessantly. And I'm proud that a Bills player is the beneficiary of one of these uplifting stories thanks to a regular guy doing something beyond worth for a kid.
  2. Watched it a bunch of times to enjoy and also to hate on the punch thrown after he crossed the goal line. Great play by Josh in light of the circumstance. Still, the 52 yard dash vs the Steelers in the playoff game tops my list.
  3. How about PlayCool instead of Claypool?
  4. Ryan to Gary Collins on the "post pattern". Team of my youth.
  5. Suzanne Vega lyrics about a kid named Luka. Wish "Luke-a" Kuechly was signed to the practice squad. Unfortunately the song is a sad story of an abused child.
  6. Liking Foreman. Age 27 at the start of next season. Weighs 230 something and racked up close to 1000 yards after McCaffery was traded to SF. Not afraid to run through or over somebody.
  7. Harry Jacobs spoke at a fathers/sons event at my childhood church in Clymer when I was a kid. Upon reflection, just the fact that he was willing to drive to a small town in the southern tier on a weeknight to speak tells a lot about his character. Rest in peace.
  8. Babe Parilli and Gino Cappelletti.....before I started to hate the "Pats".
  9. Yes I'm a Grape Picker......former Clymer Pirate like Caulcrick.
  10. Regarding Pryor. The pattern of poor behavior and being coddled goes back to high school. Pryor and his team were involved in a postgame fight during the PIAA basketball playoffs. Only a slap on the wrist was administered. www.pahoops.org/mikewhitearticle.htm www.post-gazette.com/pg/08072/864347-361.stm I attended the following game vs North East. After winning, Pryor and his coach engaged in a quick faux boxing exchange as they celebrated. I found it disgusting. Hope the Bills don't go after him.
  11. All the jive about not being a cancer, being a leader, and the explanation for qiuckly cleaning out his locker all appear to be a calculated attempt at image damage control. Whether it's intended for Bills fans, Mr. Nix, or the team he hopes will hand him a bigger wad of money when (if) he becomes a free agent.....only Donte knows. It may be the best play he's made since becoming a Bill.
