Why did we let Johnson and Bell get to FA? Keep your own players. Why did we let Chandler get to FA and Fitz get close and have to pay him big.. Imagine this off season if they were all signed for reasonable money

Every organization needs solid management to run the shop and hit short term operating goals. Let's assume the Bills have that basic capability( at least for this post). To drive transformational change the top of the organization must drive a change process including a clear vision of the future and a bold plan to get there. Seems clear the Bills need more than gradual continuous improvement(brand, on field performance,facilities etc). I don't see any signs of this type of leadership or plan. We may get better(hard not to) but not on a path to be a top tier franchise. I hope we get a dynamic leader with a bold vision and a optimistic and hard driving attitude.

Lots of good ones. The second game has 2 we passed on. Hard to get them sounds like hard to win in the NFL

Well his team is out. Watched game with him, he was intense,then thrilled then resigned. At least he experienced it and is optimistic about the future. They have good O weapons

Got a work buddy who moved to Jacksonville last year. Life long Lions fan(season ticket ,still goes to most games). Boy is he into the season/play offs. Reminds me of what we are missing from the olden days when we were relevant. Can you even remember what that was like? I wonder if we will ever experience it again.

We need a true playmaker on each side of the ball(pass rusher and wr or tight end). Then depth. We need two good Free agents as well(draft not enough right now)

Need a head coach, not an o coordinator

I am enjoying this season like the rest of you. I probably lean to "better and fun but not a playoff team"camp(can't afford the injuries). I hope we are building a strong team but I wonder. Seems like a bunch of our best players are getting old(rb,MLB,cb,safety) or unsigned(wr,o-line). If we are going to build through the draft we will need a bunch of signings. If we are going to ride the older guys we better add 2 starters in the FA period. Let's see how our first and second year players do down the stretch(if they get on the field). I guess I am optimistic but not convinced . Finally, we will face an ownership change at some point that could impact things.

I don't think we added a proven starter to a weak but young unit. How would you describe the O:up and coming,middle of pack,lame?

The question is about the FO. I thought they were old school,run the show type guys. They say winning is the bottom line. How good of a job have they done improving our roster?

Nix and company started with a team that didn't win for years,lots of roster spots and cap room not to mention a restless fan base. How would you describe their teambuilging approach:creative,aggressive,patient,lame.?

I have always been in the optimistic camp. We got worse today if that is even possible. I now am going to believe the front office , owner and coaches r lousy until they win. Not buying their spiel. They have their cute answer to everything but until they win they are simply talkers like the cracker jacks in DC

My prediction: we sign him, people complain about how much we paid him, people happy down the road as he is key part of improving defense

Front page has Poz who paper says would be the kind of leader they want. Donte also a potential target. Eye of the beholder! We better keep Poz and extend our young guys who have 1 year left. Since we were bad the last decade u would think we would be aggressive and add a couple good starters from FA also! Let's see

The Fitz deal will accommodate him being a backup. Buddy is old and has positioned Whaley to take over. Need a top tier QB and another pash rusher. if not this plan what do you see?
