  1. He wouldn't make it past the Bills pick, one way or the other.
  2. Yeah, she's a 4 day weekender.
  3. Just having a guy say that seems odd, in many ways.
  4. I've watched these before & Trent Edwards was on there looking like a hero, so with a grain of salt here I go. Fairley had to do several things physically & did them all well but one really caught my eye. He had to tackle a QB dummy that was standing still, he hit it with 3,596 Lbs of force. Yeah, I'm not joking. Unless I'm crazy, that's like getting hit by a car. I'm not advocating taking the guy because of this but that is pretty freaking impressive.
  5. Any backup will do if you're $40 Million under the cap, it's all about the bottom line.
  6. They couldn't figure out if Compton was in the house or not, Ralph likes NWA.
  7. Wow, sounds like a cool place to visit.
  8. As admitted by my trade props, Cincy gets value either way but it makes no sense for us not to do it if they want a QB & we are playing defense. This all looks to be the case.
  9. i maybe way off base here but how many people could play the entire game on one quarter & make everyone watch ?? I didn't want to ask this here & please move this if off the rocker but I consider this a valid question. Thanks for everyone's considerations.
  10. There more smoke this time of year than all the fires combined. I'd probably spend more time working the phones for deals come draft day than last season sprint to the podium. It may have been the quickest decision in the draft last year, check your options.
  11. It's prescheduled so we are pretty much just out of luck, it doesn't seem to effect other teams in our division as much.
  12. The chart value is 800 points for moving 2 spots from 4th to 2nd, 400 to move from 4th to 3rd. So there is a closer value for Cincy making this with us, which helps justify the move for both teams. Draft chart link: http://www.draftcountdown.com/features/Value-Chart.php
  13. Agreed but there is a clock for a reason & it gives you a chance to make a deal. Buddy "talking" with another club on his cell & a underling on the phone asking Cincy if they want to move up for QB or not might fly, these things do work. Not if it's someone they consider a franchise QB, Palmer is a goner so who throws the rock to AJ ?
  14. The Bills can actually take their time instead of running a card up 9 seconds into their turn. They might be able to force Cincy to give up their 2nd round pick this year to move up one spot for a QB they covet. It would be a brilliant positional play that would allow the Bills to draft the best defensive player in the 4th slot while making it look like they have a higher trade partner waiting but not giving up a cherry spot in the 2nd round that Cincy holds. They give you time to choose your player Buddy use that time to work the phones & bluff if available. You'd be suprised by how hard someone can bite if something is served just right.
  15. Every team will have money to spend but we will have major money to spend, finding the right players to come to a losing team in a city with a poor reputation of weather will be hard. Money has a way of overcoming those obstacles though, a lot of it.
  16. Alcoholism is a progressive disease, the Bills have helped that cause for many fans during that time.
  17. Cam has won just about everything he could, I wouldn't discount his ability to fail in the NFL.
  18. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/04/20/buddy-nix-perfect-time-for-bills-to-draft-a-quarterback/
  19. With the first pick of the 2012 draft, the Buffalo Bills select....
  20. Gabbert would be someone that I cannot judge properly. I never looked into him nor has he stood out from the crowd, so it's like a big gamble that would make it hard to swallow upfront.
  21. Man, there is a noticeable likeness. Good find.
