  1. When nature takes it course, it'll not be from my rooting it on. I simply pointed out a fact that based on statistics, Ralph's alarm will go off sooner than later. You do realize that he has basically outlived every original owner & many original coaches?? If he becomes incapable of running the team properly or goes through a long illness period but holds on, what becomes of the team then? You guys haven't weighed out the he can continue to live but not be functionally able to change the course set. There could then be legal battles amongst greedy heirs that expect things & the team ends up in receivership until further notice. That'll toss at least a few more seasons in the river. Selling the team while alive assures a clear course for the team, this let's see how old I get & hope for everyone to play nice is going to make waves. His relatives would probably like their money before they're too old to enjoy it. Maybe somebody should step up & give him something to think about.
  2. Don't upstage the guy with the name on the door mentality, which has perversed the team for decades.
  3. Why keep less than mediocre on the field??
  4. Next thing you know, they'll stop you from smoking everywhere.
  5. I need to call my grandmother to translate this, she speaks jive.
  6. That & Ralph finally looks his age, so something is going to change sooner versus later. I'm a pretty patient person as well, so all these years of failure in my sports dreams really helps propel me to earn in my business. It's like I need a failure & to be rediculed by all I talk to about the Bills, yet find a way to make excuses that convince only myself. The training of making quick excuses for the Bills really translates well in the business world, if you utilize it for it's maximum effect. Who knows, one hair crossed or indigestion can do the trick when your near 93 anyways. I'll let fate decide it's course on that, while I choose mine. I'd revisit what motivates you while coming to grips with reality, like I obviously have.
  7. Dear Dave, After a thorough examination of the patient, I regret to inform you that our patient Paul Poz has an advanced form of osteoporosis / brittle bones. Please excuse him for this season & expect these events to occur nearly every season he'll play on the team. I have also concluded that his heart is strong but his body cannot endure anything past a college level of contact, much less near an NFL level. I find that his charted NFL history will be evidence to substantiate this to be the case & fully expect more of this to continue. I'd also like to recommend that we overpay him by millions of dollars instead now of using that money to find healthy players in FA, knowing that your lazy butt would prefer not to make an effort to find someone better. Your bed friend, Dr. John Marzo Medical Director - Orthopedist
  8. Just don't let her meet your kids, LOL.
  9. If it pleases the court, I submit the past decade of ignorance as proof of poor talent being fielded. Even the Cardinals made a Superbowl during that time, with a old QB.
  10. That small-market speech made me really angry & was a complete copout as to the real problem. The Bills have been a poorly run business for over 15 years now, it just now is starting to sink in that until Ralph moves on, we're going nowhere fast. For the record it was $25,000 in 1960, not $50,000, so he did even better (LOL).
  11. He'll find a way to extend our worst defensive players with the balance, LOL.
  12. It's obvious that some people will say or do anything to prove their allegiance to Ralph. It's funny to think the Sabres actually have a cash owner who is rock solid & wants championships, my God is this really happening is all I keep asking. Ralph is the exact opposite type of owner & it's going to really show up this season, mark my words.
  13. It's not like if he buys the Bills that he can't make a profit or income on it. I also think that the team can be had for $800 Million all cash & I was assuming $200 Million in operating costs.
  14. He's freaking liquid man, all cash. You act like owning a NFL team is a bad investment, where is a better place to put your money with known TV revenues doubling to $20 Billion within 10 years? You went from 50-60% to 75% of his worth, next week it will be 90% for you to make a point. He'd spend ~35% of his cash to buy the team, which leaves him with only $2 Billion, could he make it somehow ??
  15. Insurance companies do not like to payout, so this was not in stone by any stretch.
  16. Ralph will veto any attempt to spend $, so you might as well pack that dream in early.
  17. According to others, his $3 Billion isn't enough even though it would make him the 3rd (possibly 2nd) wealthiest owner instantly.
  18. Brother, I'm an X O kinda guy & Poz is not a starting NFL LB. His pass coverage is just horrible, he's lost. He looked good in college but his game never translated well in the NFL & he seems like a glass player, that's a guy that the Bills could do without. I predict if he does stay that within the first 4 games, he's on IR. If Ralph would possibly spend some money, we could get FA. Heaven forbid improving the team but here's a list of fella's: A talented, versatile inside linebacker who is due for a big payday this offseason. A.J. Hawk, ILB, Packers. Age: 27. Re-signed with Packers (5 years) A.J. Hawk wasn't worth a top-five pick, but he's a very good linebacker who played a key role in Green Bay's Super Bowl run. Hawk will probably return to the Packers for less money. Kevin Burnett, ILB, Chargers. Age: 28. After a few forgettable years in Dallas, Kevin Burnett has really come into his own in San Diego. Staying put would probably be best for his career. Kirk Morrison, ILB, Jaguars. Age: 29. Kirk Morrison is a decent middle linebacker who thrives in run support. He's not terrible in coverage, but could be better in that department. Stewart Bradley, ILB, Eagles. Age: 27. Stewart Bradley really struggled in coverage this past season, but that's understandable because he was only a year removed from ACL surgery. He'll move to strongside linebacker in 2011, assuming he re-signs with the team. Stephen Cooper, ILB, Chargers. Age: 32. Stephen Cooper turns 32 in June, but is coming off a very good year. Cooper played well throughout until suffering an MCL sprain in December. D'Qwell Jackson missed all of last year after playing in just six games in 2009. Jackson's a good player, but is a major injury risk. Barrett Ruud, ILB, Buccaneers. Age: 28. I'm not sure what happened to Barrett Ruud, because he had an awful 2010 campaign after a couple of phenomenal seasons as Tampa Bay's middle linebacker. Ruud might be able to bounce back elsewhere - or he could be done. Jameel McClain (ERFA), ILB, Ravens. Age: 26. Jameel McClain is serviceable as Baltimore's two-down inside linebacker next to Ray Lewis, but can be upgraded. Dhani Jones, ILB, Bengals. Age: 33. Dhani Jones had a decent 2009, but regressed last season. The bow tie and Febreze salesman is on his last legs. Eric Barton, ILB, Browns. Age: 33. Eric Barton is a liability in coverage at this point in his career, but he can still be a quality two-down run-stopping inside linebacker for 3-4 teams. Kevin Bentley, ILB, Texans. Age: 31. Kevin Bentley did a decent job filling in for DeMeco Ryans in the second half of the season. He could be brought back as a reserve 3-4 inside linebacker. Brandon Siler, ILB, Chargers. Age: 25. Marvin Mitchell, ILB, Saints. Age: 26. Dannell Ellerbe (ERFA), ILB, Ravens. Age: 25. Tavares Gooden (RFA), ILB, Ravens. Age: 26. H.B. Blades, ILB, Redskins. Age: 26. Mark Herzlich, ILB, Boston College. Age: 24. Hunter Hillenmeyer, ILB, Bears. Age: 31. Scott Lutrus, ILB, Connecticut. Age: 23. Nick Bellore, ILB, Central Michigan. Age: 22. Jason Trusnik, ILB, Browns. Age: 27. Reggie Walker, ILB, Cardinals. Age: 24. Corey Mays, ILB, Chiefs. Age: 27. Chase Blackburn, ILB, Giants. Age: 28. Gerris Wilkinson, ILB, Giants. Age: 28. Spencer Havner, ILB, Packers. Age: 28. -- Tendered by Packers Omar Gaither, ILB, Eagles. Age: 27. Vinny Ciurciu, ILB, Lions. Age: 31. Erin Henderson (RFA), ILB, Vikings. Age: 25. -- Tendered by Vikings Anthony Waters, ILB, Saints. Age: 27. Niko Koutouvides, ILB, Buccaneers. Age: 30. Blake Costanzo (RFA), ILB, Browns. Age: 27. Keyaron Fox, ILB, Steelers. Age: 29. Tracy White, ILB, Patriots. Age: 30. Cory Greenwood (ERFA), ILB, Chiefs. Age: 28. Poz has been part of the problem on the defense for years now.
  19. It's been painfully obvious for years now.
  20. His play leaves much more to be desired, I just think that we have damaged goods that break like glass.
  21. Highest & best use, got it.
  22. Well past means well past, not just after the line.
  23. The only frenzy at OBD during the free agency period is if Ralph's discount card didn't work at Dennys.
  24. I obviously feel different about his play than you do, it's that tackle well past the line thing that keeps getting me.
  25. You guys have won it all multiple times, we have dog doo doo to show for all our years of waiting & hoping. Any championship potential brings the entire town to the door, especially after being starved for generations (the Bandits don't count). You have a great point but there but past the $1 Billion to buy the Bills, where is the other ~25%?? Another thing as well, Natural gas is going to end up twice as high as it is right now for several reasons, so odds are his net worth will double as well in the near future.
