  1. RG3 has also been far more efficient than Newton. The comparisons are foolish and, frankly, borderline racist.
  2. 8-8, no playoffs. Between the Bengals, Colts, and Steelers- and maybe the Chargers- we aren't going anywhere. My guess is that we lose to the Colts and Seahawks. We look like we've corrected a bunch of the mistakes we were making earlier, but this team isn't consistent or good enough to go 6-0 or 5-1. The three losses to N.E. and Tennessee are truly a shame.
  3. Would you rather have, say, Patrick Willis and a below-average offensive line, or Kelvin Sheppard and our above-average offensive line? I'm not sure.
  4. I heard Ryan Lindley is available.
  5. Auto-correct is the devil.
  6. This guy has never had a coherent post.
  7. You should have written "whose." You wrote "who's."
  8. This is ironic. By the way, periods and commas go inside of quotation marks.
  9. Stop. Just stop. Fitz is twice the player McCoy is, as sad as that may be.
  10. Learn English, please. I hope it is your second language.
  11. Do you think they have no faith in Foles? I'm not sure, but let's see if they focus on the offensive line/safeties before adding a QB to replace Vick.
  12. They met in August. Good lord..
  13. I agree. My point is more that it's interesting how the simulator only considers three teams to value a QB in the first round: Buffalo, Jacksonville, and Kansas City.
  14. I locked out Barkley at 9; the Bills ended up drafting Damontre Moore. Barkley slid to Jacksonville in the second round. If he and Smith actually look like elite-caliber QBs to Nix and Co., I wonder if we may have a chance to draft a DE early on and trade back into the first round to grab Barkley/Smith? It's certainly plausible if we and KC are the only teams that decide to use early first round picks on a QB.
  15. Punctuation is useful.
  16. Tackles are an overrated statistic. Kuechly has been good, but it's false to say that "he is going to win the rookie of the year quite easily." He is a good NFL starter, but not even close to being on the level of Von Miller.
  17. Thank you for your informed, valuable, and eloquent opinion.
  18. Have you watched- watched, not seen the statistics from- Ponder this year? He's not going to be an elite QB.
  19. If we had, say, a top-14 defense that forced turnovers and punts giving us good field position, we'd be putting up more points. There's a reason we possess the ball for 29 minutes per game; Fitz and the offense are forced into long drives from poor field position. We're not forcing fumbles in the opponent's half. If this were an average defense, Fitz wouldn't be in the position he's in at the end of most games. Yes, he's not elite, and the opposite of clutch, but posters would have a very different opinion of him if we had a defense that could put us in a position to score easy points and control the game.
  20. They didn't, and they won't suddenly become elite in the second half of the season. We will win 3-5 more games.
  21. Dining recommendations in every NFL city?
  22. Are we in position to draft Andrew Luck? No. The team knew that was the case, and they were rebuilding in a way that we don't need to, from the inside out. We probably need a new coaching staff, but tanking makes zero sense given that there is no Peyton/Eli/Luck to draft.
  23. Who's "Darius"?
  24. Players fight to keep their jobs, and the coach will do the same. Treating losing as acceptable is a very dangerous mentality and doesn't help the team progress. Bench starters, maybe cut someone like Barnett or Wilson to show the players their jobs are always at risk, and give practice squad/backups playing time. Don't actively try to lose; force players to give their best effort by threatening their playing time/jobs.
