  1. Yep. There's no evidence that Spiller's YPC numbers would stay above 6 in a season with 300 carries, and they probably wouldn't. AP's season has been amazing.
  2. Don't forget the fact that the Jets have no one who compares to Demaryius Thomas.
  3. The record for sacks in a game is 12. Keep in mind that SD is terrible.
  4. Read Pryce's replies to comments. It's obvious that he didn't write the article himself.
  5. Your reading comprehension skills are hilarious.
  6. Seattle would have zero interest in Sanchez in a backup QB, even at 1/4 his current cap cost.
  7. Why are ESPN and various other websites allowed to do this legally? The double-standard from our lovely government is insane.
  8. Jake Long will get big money to be someone's LT. He will not be a RT at a salary we can afford.
  9. The game is much faster in the NFL. Glennon had some great blocking on that play.
  10. If they decide he is movable, and trade him to Buffalo, we'll probably have traded a second rounder for a mediocre QB. The guy's been on the roster long enough for the Patriots, and only the Patriots, to have a good idea of his capabilities. He is staying on that team until the last year of his contract at the least.
  11. If the Patriots think Mallett is actually a good QB, there is zero chance they are trading him within the division. This idea is ludicrous.
  12. I question T'eo's athleticism. Jones will probably be picked in the Andy Dalton range.
  13. I'm curious as to why you didn't include Luck in the "running QB" category? He's probably more athletic than Wilson, and has five rushing TDs this year.
  14. His y.p.a. are down slightly from 2011 and 2010. In 2009, when their line was very good, Greene averaged 5 y.p.c. for 540 yards. If you use rushing yards as the barometer for a career year, his passing yards are half what they were last year.
  15. If given a real chance, could Tebow be a Broadway actor? Tebow is used to being in the media spotlight. He's acted in commercials for national television multiple times. The man is spontaneously creative; Tebowing is a bigger national phenomenon than "planking" was. Perhaps Trey Parker and Matt Stone should see if he'd try out for the Book of Mormon. They could write a special role for him in the script. Why hasn't Broadway given Tebow a chance?
  16. Denver gave him a "legit chance." Tebow started 14 games for them and was mediocre. Mark Sanchez, too, made the playoffs. In fact, he made the AFC Championship game twice, in his first two years. Does that make him a good QB? No. He's probably worse than Fitz. Again, "putting up those kinds of numbers" is a completely invalid point. Should the aforementioned Danny Wuerffel, Jason White, Matt Leinart, etc. be given a second shot? No. They aren't, or weren't, good NFL QBs. I see no evidence for your argument.
  17. Both are bad. Shonn Greene isn't particularly good, but he has been held back by the o-line. Look at the decline from his first two years.
  18. Seattle drafted him and chose to start him over a high-priced free agent signing. Tebow has started a year and has proven to be below-average. Of course there were questions about Wilson, but he's proven doubters wrong so far. Tebow has proven that he shouldn't be a starter, and there would have been more demand for him from teams other than a) the Jets to exploit ticket sales and hype with their market size and b) the Jaguars, who are effectively his hometown team. Do you care to answer why you posted his college stats on a loaded Florida team, and not his backup-quality season as the Broncos' starter?
  19. So you're saying we can have a media circus like the Jets do around a mediocre backup QB, distracting the team and ruining the season? Sign me up!
  20. No NFL team thinks he's a starting quality QB. If that were the case, someone besides Jacksonville and the Jets would have traded for him for football, not marketing purposes. College stats are irrelevant. It's completely disingenuous to post his college stats and not his NFL stats (6.4 y/a as a starter is a huge red flag). Jim Kelly is not an NFL scout, coach, or GM. What does "the biggest & the best of help on his side" mean?
  21. This is slightly off-topic, but how does a football configuration have more seating than a basketball configuration? The Carrier Dome apparently seats 49,000 for football and 33,000 for basketball; is that just a question of attendance, and the basketball configuration closes the upper deck seats?
  22. He's either the next Flacco or the next Derek Anderson.
