  1. This was CJ's third season. He had a poor rookie year, but averaged 5.2 ypc in 2011. Your post is absolute nonsense.
  2. The game is all on Kaepernick. If he can play as confidently as he has, I'd say it goes 49ers 27, Ravens 17.
  3. That's not necessarily true. He'd start over all of the Arizona QBs, for one.
  4. I'm not saying Glenn is a bottom-ten LT, but Eugene Monroe is an excellent LT. He's certainly not in the bottom-ten.
  5. There is talent, elite and otherwise, in this draft. That being said, the last two years have been among the most successful draft classes in history across the board. I wouldn't say that this draft class is historically weak- like the infamous 2000 NBA Draft- but likely average in terms of the displacement of quality starters and the influx of elite talent.
  6. http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8874124/nfl-quarterback-options-arizona-cardinals The above article mentions the possibility of Fitzpatrick, if released, playing for the Cardinals. As someone who has had moderate success (to be generous) in a spread offense, the writer asks the question: How would Fitzpatrick do in Bruce Arian's offense? If Fitzpatrick is released this off-season, which at this stage seems to have 50/50 probability, it would be interesting to see how he plays on another team; Arizona, Jacksonville, and Minnesota are a few teams I can see picking him up. If he succeeds on Arizona with Fitzgerald, that may be an indictment of Nix's drafting and the overall offensive talent. Mel Kiper recently called Cordy Glenn a bottom-7 LT in the league, which is harsh, but he had quite an up-and-down season. If we release Fitzpatrick and decide that a drafted QB is a worthwhile prospect, I'm very interested to see where his career goes.
  7. Of course the majority of the starters are deserving, but the fact remains that All-Pros are a far better indicator of elite players in the league. If casual fans are mislead into thinking that Jeff Saturday is an elite center, the Pro Bowl has failed to recognize talent. In particular, the Pro Bowl fails when it comes to offensive line and cornerback talent, where most fans generally don't know how to measure elite play. Nose tackles, 3-4 ends, and 4-3 OLBs also fail to get recognition because those positions, generally, don't put up flashy numbers like sacks.
  8. The Chiefs had five Pro Bowlers this year. Jeff Saturday, who was benched, made the Pro Bowl. Having All-Pros means progress; the Pro Bowl is laughable.
  9. Ravens G Marshal Yanda was replaced by Richie Incognito, a former Bill.
  10. PTR, the NFC h already announced its alternates.
  11. Byrd may get Ed Reed's spot. Levitre has a shot at Marshall Yanda's spot, and Kyle Williams, though it's more unlikely, could take Ngata's.
  12. I wouldn't be surprised to see Warmack go in the top 5. If the Eagles decide he can improve their line more than an OT prospect like Eric Fisher (assuming Joeckel/Moore/Werner go 1-3), they might grab him.
  13. Round 1: Bjorn Werner Round 2: Terrance Williams Round 3: Kevin Minter Round 4: Arthur Brown Round 5: Zac Dysert Round 6: B.P.A. at RB or T.E.
  14. More interesting than the team itself is who received votes. Wood had a vote. McKelvin had a few at KR. Levitre and Spiller didn't get anything.
  15. Ogletree will be far better than T'eo.
  16. Marcell was awesome in the last third of the season.
  17. Imagine Calvin Johnson and A.J. Green on the Bills, with Stevie in the slot. I would easily substitute Gronkowski for Green, as others have said.
  18. By the time draft boards/prospect rankings become clear to the public (around early April), it will be evident that no team has Nassib as a first round pick.
  19. Horton is under contract. You may have said that in your jumbled mass of text, but I didn't see it.
  20. I'm aware of that. I'm citing "T master's" claim about our cap savings for 2013, which was derived from his misreading of Fitz's cap hit for 2013.
  21. What's ironic? He's claiming, "cutting him all together they would save what i think i heard to be total 10.45 in cap space . As long as it is done before the football year starts." There is no evidence for that.
  22. I don't think anyone is bickering. "T master," however, is failing to understand the basics of cap numbers, including what he's posted.
