  1. Interestingly, he has, in this mock, Detroit trading up to #1 and grabbing Dee Milliner. Geno Smith is the only first round QB, drafted by the Eagles in a trade-up to #25; Barkley is drafted with the first pick of the second round.
  2. I apologize if you took that personally. I posted that meaning that it's an unrealistic scenario. I apologize if you were offended. To be more concise: I think that scenario is outlandish.
  3. http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft2013/story/_/id/9178890/2013-nfl-draft-mel-kiper-makes-picks-gm-every-nfl-team 8) Ezekiel Ansah 41) Keenan Allen 71) Ryan Nassib
  4. Wins/playoff appearances guarantee sales. This comparison is foolish.
  5. http://blogs.buffalonews.com/press-coverage/2013/04/nigel-bradham-bills-expect-him-to-be-a-defensive-playmaker-.html
  6. Patterson did not "make a big impression in the SEC." For his talent, he drastically underachieved.
  7. I'm not interested in the prize- if I do win, please pass it on to second place- but here are my guesses: Dion Jordan- Jacksonville Luke Joeckel- Kansas City Geno Smith- Philadelphia Cordarelle Patterson- St. Louis Tyler Eifert- St. Louis
  8. He looked decent this year when filling in. I would draft a guard in the second, third, or fourth, but not in the first.
  9. Reportedly, IRS agents were also present at the property.
  10. I'd take the Jags' second and third this year plus their first in 2014 for #8 overall. If the Raiders had more picks this year, I'd make the same deal with them.
  11. Assuming that we can't draft defense using these parameters, I think the TE talent in round 3 will be available in round 4, while Ertz/Eifert won't be around. Bernard is a special talent, and I think Fred Jackson is done.
  12. I would give the Chiefs a third for Albert.
  13. Hunt isn't going to be available in the sixth round.
  14. Assuming we can't make any trades: 1.) Tavon Austin, WR, WVU 2.) Kyle Long, OG/OT, Oregon 3.) Giovani Bernard, HB, UNC 4.) Gavin Escobar, TE, SDSU 5.) Nick Kasa, TE, Colorado 6.) Oday Aboushi, OT/OG, UVA I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but I chuckled when I saw that you have "P. Escobar-TE, SDSU" in your signature.
  15. Yeah, I know that the CFF is mostly dead. That being said, this really doesn't have anything to do with Bills/NFL football.
  16. Uhh, no; football players can, and should not, be given an effective tax exemption. Plenty of people pay the same tax rate that they and are also "functionally extorted"; football players should not get a tax exemption to make up for their financial incompetence.
  17. What does this have to do with the Bills? Shouldn't this be in the college football forum?
  18. Bo Outlaw was a basketball player.
  19. I don't see a W.R. at 8 who won't be available at 16. Patterson is, rightfully, falling down draft boards. Edit: Austin might be coveted, but I don't know if teams will trade up for him.
  20. http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?archive=false&conference=null&role=OPP&offensiveStatisticCategory=null&defensiveStatisticCategory=RUSHING&season=2012&seasonType=REG&tabSeq=2&qualified=false&Submit=Go There is not a huge correlation between winning and run defense. There is an incalculable correlation between having a QB and winning.
  21. Chandler is wildly overrated by Bills fans. He's an average starter at best. Hernandez often lines up at T.E., but can also lineup at W.R.; that doesn't mean he's "not a tight end." When Gronk played 16 games in 2011, he was far better than any year of Chandler's. The Patriots have a comparable offensive line, too. Either way, the positional comparison is pointless as we don't have a Q.B.; it's not like comparing the Broncos (superior at most positions) to the Patriots.
  22. ahahhahaaha. The most you would get is a 5th, and that's a reach, for Jackson.
