  1. What the hell do you think Jackson's trade value will be in the offseason or beginning of next season? If he can play, he is more valuable to us than the 7th rounder we would get back.
  2. Regarding your sig, I highly doubt Ebron will be available for us in the second.
  3. Trading up is generally a bad idea in the draft unless you are doing so to get a quarterback. I'm not sure how we could "try to get Mike Evans and Mack" as both will likely be top-fifteen picks. I am always in favor of trading down, especially if it is from something like 10th to 16th-21st. An extra second round pick means that, if you draft competently, you are have a far greater chance to get a cheap impact player like Alonso or Woods. I'd like to trade down with, say, the Colts, grab one of the top tight ends, and then pick up an offensive lineman and linebacker in the second.
  4. Austin S-J would not be on my first or second round board. A DUI is too big of a red flag to risk such a valuable pick.
  5. I disagree to some extent. Graham and Gronkowski are just valuable as, if not more valuable than, Watt.
  6. His name is Richardson, and he'll probably go in the mid-late first round. Unless we end up trading down- which I always believe is worth doing- I'd love to swing a deal down to the 13th-16th spot and pick up an extra second and fourth- he won't be in our range.
  7. I'd be much more comfortable taking Ebron, who can split out wide, than Evans.
  8. Peyton's numbers as a rookie would have been significantly better in 2013 than 1998 due to rule changes.
  9. I'm suuure Boldin would love to end his career in Buffalo. Why do you think Jones would be a good free agent signing, given the loss of a (very) potential compensatory pick and a high salary for someone who doesn't fit the profile we're looking for and hasn't been tremendously productive? Easley is horrible depth at wide receiver, and I don't see Hogan's value.
  10. Why don't you think Jordan Reed is better than, or comparable to, Chandler? Reed's done some amazing things in limited time this year, including putting up a 134-yard game this year. Chandler has never had a 100-yard game. Reed hasn't fumbled once. I'm also curious as to your take on Bennett, who is a better blocker than Chandler and far more athletic. Like Chandler, a key problem is a tendency for incredibly frustrating drops.
  11. The entirety of his posts- and they are usually threads- are borderline-incomprehensible. Is it too much to ask for people to write coherently?
  12. Glennon did not have a "decent game" Sunday.
  13. Cutler would have zero interest in coming to Buffalo. His wife, for one, would say no to Western New York immediately. Plus, with New York State taxes, we'd have to pay nearly 9 percent more than, say, the Dolphins or Texans, teams located in far more desirable cities to Cutler.
  14. I would love for Buffalo to sign Cutler, but I highly doubt that he would have any interest in living here.
  15. Deciphering this post hurts my brain.
  16. It's still a major, major stretch to say that Bell has been "part of Pittsburgh's resurgence." I don't post "only negative stuff," but just think it is a bit of a stretch that Oliver will be drafted. Kudos to U.B. on a resurgent season, and I think Mack will be a great player. As for the Bills, I've been very high on the personnel but skeptical of Brandon and the coaching staff.
  17. Stevie would not fetch a second or third round pick. He's more valuable to the Bills as a player than he is as trade bait.
  18. Uhh, thanks. Bell averaged 2.6 and 2.0 Y.P.C. in his last two games... Maybe he's not a *bust*, but he is certainly not an impact player like Lacy or Bernard. Antonio Brown and an improved defense have helped Pittsburgh. Is your hostility due to the fact that I don't think a U.B. player is a solid prospect? Chill out. http://www.post-gazette.com/sports/smizik-on-sports/2013/11/18/Le-Veon-not-ringing-the-bell/stories/201311180149 Above is an article on some of the stats behind the Steelers this year. I think most people would agree that Bell has not "played fairly well since his injury."
  19. I agree regarding O.S.U.'s defense. As for Bell, though, he is a second-round bust.
  20. Khalil Mack will probably be the best L.B. out of the draft. As for Oliver, he was awful against O.S.U. and Baylor, the closest thing he's had to N.F.L. competition. There is no way he gets drafted, but good for him if he does.
  21. I highly doubt Oliver will be drafted.
  22. Williams has played, and is used at, both positions. If we had been forced to play Byrd, Duke Williams, Searcy, or Leonhard at C.B., we would have been in a similar situation to Carolina. My point is that injuries happen to all teams, and their secondary was just as, if not more, beaten up than ours.
