  1. Jeremy Kerley is a solid player.
  2. While I agree that the team has neglected the offense and wide receiver position, I quite like Kerley and am hopeful that he will produce for us.
  3. I missed the score and celebration live, and have to say I teared up again watching it just now. Congrats to the leader of the team. You can see how much his teammates respect Kyle in the enthusiasm they had after the score.
  4. I am crying tears of sweet, sweet, joy. May you all have a wonderful 2018.
  5. It would almost certainly be against NFL rules for the Bills to pay private investigators to see if he has ties to gambling or anything along those lines. That being said, I hope that teams like the Bills and Steelers put enough pressure on the league for the FBI to take interest in the possible links between officiating and organized gambling in the league. Tim Donaghy and European soccer teams like Juventus are evidence enough that this stuff can happen in the highest echelons of professional sports.
  6. I don't know the protocol for how the Bills would start something along these lines, but the call from New York today was inexcusable. In addition to the numerous members of the national media, including Peter King, deeming the reversal wrong, PFT's Michael Smith said, "Al Riveron has taken it upon himself to change the standard for what constitutes enough evidence to overturn the call on the field. He routinely changes calls when there simply isn't indisputable, clear, and obvious evidence that the call on the field was wrong."
  7. Why hasn't this site, and anything else Incarcerated Bob-related, been banned from TBD yet?
  8. Logging on for the first time in over a year to say that no matter how well we play, I have a sickening sense of dread watching the rest of this game due to some of the calls. Absolutely pathetic.
  9. LA is pretty affordable and laid back if you want it to be, and there are plenty of suburbs (Westchester, Northern NJ, and Fairfield County) for people who want to settle down and have access to the city in 30-45 minutes.
  10. The Giants signed Corbin Bryant.
  11. Maxx Williams is garbage.
  12. Learn the difference between "your" and "you're" and "are" and "our." For someone born in or before 1972, you have the English skills of a kindergartner. You might want to look in the mirror before calling people idiots. Tossing around unsubstantiated accusations of tampering is also slanderous.
  13. The logical thing to do at the end of the league year is to franchise and work on a new deal with Sammy if he's healthy and productive this season.
  14. Their PE division is doing fine. As with the other firms with AuM above $10 bn and multiple products, IRRs and MoCs have gone down over time. Some real estate funds from the mid-2000s were disastrous, but LPsare more than happy to give Apollo checks, some non-discretionary, every year.
  15. Reddick is an edge rusher/linebacker.
  16. I agree with you. There is also no value in having random posters' mock drafts as separate threads. Perhaps there should be a megathread for individuals' mocks?
  17. Humphrey is one of my favorite players in the draft. He is aggressive, has NFL bloodlines, and is confident. I think he will do well out of the gate.
  18. WEO's post flew right over your head
  19. Let me know when Sports Illustrated, ESPN, and PFF use Fanspeak to write an article. Please also let me know when they require you to click a link to go to a successive page within the same piece. I think Billswire is slightly better than Fansided and Buffalo Rumblings post-Galliford, but I suggest your writers fix some basic recurring grammatical errors, e.g. the conflation between single and double quotation marks, if you want to be taken seriously.
  20. This isn't happening. The trades are absurdly unrealistic, Kevin King won't be there in the third, and Robert Quinn has consistently demonstrated that he is not a legitimate journalist. Someday USA Today's blog network acquisition and Yahoo!'s partnership with Fansided will backfire on them. They are a grade below Bleacher Report, with articles that use fantasy draft tools to approximate mock drafts and are riddled with grammatical errors. This isn't news. There is virtually zero effort involved in creating this travesty of an "article."
  21. Your thread title says "AFCE contender." The board is becoming increasingly filled with unnecessary, redundant, and often duplicate posts (there were three threads on Zach Brown on the front page this morning, for example). Given how few moderators there are and how overwhelmed they have been with the influx of new registrants, it's not too much to ask for posters to give some thought to and avoid hyperbole in their posts. Otherwise, the board will be largely unreadable. No one wants to sift through pages of unnecessary posts.
  22. There is a "top contender" listed for every division. That does not mean that the Bills are listed as a legitimate contender for the division title; it means that, for the purpose of an article at a slow point of the offseason, Schein is positioning the Bills ahead of the Jets and the Dolphins. You are conflating what the author means by "top contender." Either way; well done on falling for clickbait.
  23. The NFL Network does not have the Bills "as an AFCE contender." The article lists a team in everyone division for the sake of the article; nowhere does it assert that the Bills have a legitimate chance of taking the division from the Patriots.
  24. Jake Butt will be lucky to go in the third round.
