  1. All we had to do is wait for Nix to leave for his draft picks to start producing. That would be funny.
  2. I would love to see one of the second string tackles make an impression during pre season. If we find that we have a few good tackles, it may just make more sense to move him in. I love the idea of Glenn, Wood and Urbik as our interior blockers.
  3. We should have a league wide S.O.P. or procedure, for turning in celebratory dances to refs pre game. The paper work should be turned in in triplicate three business days before kick off. Furthermore, all celebrations should be taken to the side line, so as not to disturb the commercial break.
  4. I'd put us between 26, and 23. That group gets more respect than us, but I put the bills in the mix between Minnesota, and Philly.
  5. I think you're two down lineman have to be enormous.
  6. I think the style and efficiency of the offense should dictate Spiller's use. Use him early and often. Try to take a lead. If you can take that lead, come out with a heavier run game and use Fred more. It's kinda dumb to get wraped up in the # of carries. What I'm concerned about is impact on the team. Spiller had similar impact to his offense, that AP had to his. With way fewer touches. He legitimately was at AP status last year. I am in the camp that Spiller can't carry the ball 20+ times a game; but who cares? All Day is All Day, and that is part of what makes him great. Spiller can absolutely handle more touches, but I want to see him in the slot, screens, routes out of the back field, all the stuff AP doesn't do much.
  7. I'm going to go look at it. I do have a lot of questions about the situation. I may find answers their. I don't think Alex Carrington is in the Jason Peters, or Jairus Byrd category: though. That's for sure.
  8. absolutely agree about Carrington. I don't think JP influenced JB, and it will mean nothing to AC....ha ha. But Bryd's leverage is gone. They can't sign a long term deal, and the Bill are not removing the right to tag him next year......and what tension over safety? Bryd is great, and we want him....but we need corners, gaurds.... I haven't heard about a saftey issues in camp yet.
  9. unless he gets hurt or underperforms ALL the risk is on bryd now.
  10. If Parker cared about players, they would be playing. I don't see how holding out till the season gives parker more leverage. Someone explain?
  11. I agree with you.But what if bryd isn't in game shape (hitting, tackling), and doesn't grasp the whole playbook... I'm not trying to work in any emotion or spite. I'm not even saying he won't come back and light it up. But he hasent played football since November. It almost takes that long to make a baby.... Also, I didn't imply he wouldn't play.
  12. The fact that within you're self, you've decided that the city of Buffalo can't win.....anything. You said it: fatalistic view
  13. Can we rename the thread to Glenn to LT now?
  14. Enough with the self loathing. Build a winner. Pros want money, and to win. They don't care how big the city is. Is Green Bay hip? Or Jacksonville? Just win. put better than I could.
  15. The funny thing is, we won out on the Jason Peters deal, IMHO. I also think he put Bryd in a bad spot this year. I feel like if Bryd comes back, with no off season he gets hurt, or underperforms. On top of that, Marrone has shown that he uses the guys who have the reps. Parker seems to be about getting paid right now. Not the future careers of players. Has a franchise player hold out ever yielded more money the next year?
  16. Thank you Jerry. I just shot milk out my nose...on to my daughter.........lol
  17. Always loved Marine pilots.... You can talk them into flying sooooo low.... Lol Nothing finer than family's of service. Thanks to you, and yours sir.
