  1. I have a question, I don't know the answer to. Who picks the coordinators? I was under the impression the head coach does. But it seems to be the opinion here that the GM does. I do agree Chan was poor as HC, but nobody else was taking the job.
  2. I'm not saying I'm satisfied. Furthest thing from. I just think to many Bills fans are looking for someone to blame, instead of looking at the future. Buddy bought a shack, in a million dollar neighborhood. He handed Whaley a nice house that needs trim work. In three years. I might say you're expectations for someone to turn Dick's roster unreasonable. When he showed up we needed : 3 line backers 2 QB 3 D lineman Many recivers Tackles left & right 2DB's TE Man, I think people foget where we were four years ago.
  3. And somehow Buddy's poor roster decisions keep us in games with some talented teams
  4. you're trying to find someone to blame for the losses. I understand. If you think we went from a D to a C roster, than that's the actual basis of our disagreement. We have a VERY talented roster. We have poor QB play (and still won three games already). Thanx Buddy. I agree
  5. I see what you're saying, but someone had to decide this was a football team, so bringing in football players, and football people was what we needed. Nix had to know with taking that job....with the roster we had, and his age, he would never reap the benifits, but yes savior. He wrung out the entire roster, set up a GM succession, and left the building with Talent, and what he felt was our QB.
  6. unless you were in the room with Buddy, talking to realtor, you're just drawing different conclutions from the same info I am. Ok, lets say you are right. The only talent starting on this team is Kiko, and Woods. Everyone else was a Nix guy, and that means they need to be replaced? You know Whaley has been on the staff the whole time Buddy was GM....should we really draw the line on THIS draft?
  7. 1. Wasent in a position to take one high. I know, Wilson, and Kap were sure things. 2. Um.... Yea, Chan was the first choice. 3. See my answer to two. And by the way, he was good as OC. 4. Funny that Buddy was the GM for everyone on the current, and improved defense. 5/6. Chan was the coach. Not Buddy. And Buddy did replace Chan when he could. 7. Thank you. If EJ can get healthy, and play up to our expectations, we are a play off team. Our roster is VERY talented. We need QB play.
  8. It doesn't matter. Buddy Nix salvaged our roster. I mean really, at this point every player on our team outside of Leonard were signed, or re-signed by Nix, but some will never be able to give him credit. Nix saved our franchise. If you don't think so, look at what Dick left him, and what's left. so Spiller was Modrak's? Cop out. Buddy was the GM. If all the gaffes were his fault, why can't he get credit for good moves?
  9. I hope he doesn't get hurt either.....they still haven't beat that staff epidemic.
  10. Defense is fast off the field in the first quarter. After that, I've noticed its directly linked to the number of first downs the offense gets.
  11. slow down, and don't assume I'm saying somthing I'm not. I see EJ as the long term answer. But he has two knee injuries in four weeks, and has struggled throwing down field. I haven't said Thad IS anything. I do recognize that he has started two games on short notice, and against good defenses and played well. IF he continues that trend, than yes... EJ can lose his job to injury -its the NFL. I'm not prognostitating anything. I just would like the QB I think is going to win today in.
  12. Depending on how Thad plays this week, I don't think we throw EJ back in. I'm not one to care how a guy came into the league. I liked Thad's game against the elite Bengals defense. Let him lose it, don't take it.
  13. I have been one of the biggest criticizers of Hackett. This does make me feel I should reavaluate my position. I have been one of the biggest criticizers of Hackett. This does make me feel I should reavaluate my position. Its a vertical, no-huddle, option offense, that runs half the time.
  14. this year yes. All I'm saying is their is more to it than a guy who couldn't be stopped the last few years, to be done based on a quarter of a season, with a new OC, and QB.
  15. The message that penalty sent was that the Bills can't stand up for there guys. One week after a knee shot takes out EJ, and a browns player celebrates over him.
  16. screens to AJ when Gilmore was lined up across from him was where Green got most of his yards. They turns him into a liability. Leo did admirably. Gilmore should have to earn that spot back. I don't think Leo should automatically give it up.
  17. +1A big 3rd down/ red zone target was missing Sunday. That, and for Christ's sake, when will Easley get his shot? I mean, just a couple of years ago he won the WR2 job out right......and now he can't get past hogan?!?
  18. Dehaven had the worst ST in the NFL last year. When the bills cleaned house, I was upset to see the old ST coach go. Can't remember his name, but with him, Leo was on track to have the best punt return year in the history of the NFL.
  19. in a game that was as exhilarating as that (really was great game) bad calls made an impact.KW95's personal foul was....ugh. Goodwin was held twice, wrist, than shoulder...no call?!? I will say, it hurt to see them run constint screens to the club(gilmore). I love Gilmore, but.... Get the hand healed man. Take you're time, and get it right. u get it though. He just had one or two more adult beverages than I, LOL.
  20. Four bad droped passes, but a good ref job on what would have been a Goodwin TD. I font even know what to say... That K Williams call was the worst call I have ever seen. I have NEVER seen a flag thrown for that.......EVER. EVER. EVER.
  21. anyone who can regularly beat anybody's top corner is a number one. Don't care what his measureables are.SJ13 is a #1 wideout.
  22. I don't even know what to say but, huh? I will say that chemistry between SJ13 & EJ3 needs a lot of work, but come on. He just came off his third 1000 yard season. How is he in decline? Its a bad start to the year, but under this criteria, is CJ28 on decline?
