  1. Luck's coiled viper is so awesome, I've seen him 3/4's tackled, and still can deliver an accurate strike. Damn Colts.
  2. I'm not counting on Moeaki. If he can get healthy and unseat one of our three game day TE's from last year, bonus. I'm not as down on our TE's as some are, and think it isn't he biggest issue/ position that needs to be addressed early in the draft. I still think Gragg could develop into a very good split out TE. He kinda reminds me of a very poor man's Shannon Sharpe.
  3. they took the #3 ranked player,(#2 QB) and still felt the need to draft another QB. We got EJ. You're argument actually supports my view, IMHO. it's not like we ever saw any great accurate throws. More in the dirt, or out of bounds than threading any needles. With most guys that were taken early, and succed you see streches of good play. With EJ, it was an occasional drive, after a few three and outs, followed by a couple more three and outs.
  4. I wouldn't mind trying to trade back, to more or less try the EJ trade of last year. Maybe a OT or WR in the first, and QB in the second if a good one is still there. I wouldn't make it priority number one, but I would keep the option open.
  5. I'm not speculating on what EJ can be. I'm observing what he is now. I like Tannehill more than I do EJ, but I don't think either are a lock to be franchise QB's. If I were the Bills, Phins or Rams, I would really consider an early QB. Last year, everybody thought three or four QB's would go in the first. One did, and really shouldn't have. I see this year being much the same. I don't believe that more than one QB will go in the first round if any. Now if I'm right, and a QB with a higher college grade than EJ (to the Bills) is their with our second round pick, do you not take him?
  6. I think signing of big body guys like M. Williams, and Elliot actually make a case for us to draft mike Evans. We ARE trying to find a big playmaker. Wouldn't be suprised by that pick. On another note, I didn't like the idea of Evans at 9, but I've come around to it. To big, andto open all the time.
  7. lol, the hypocrisy of you're two staments is awesome.
  8. my only point is that in most cases, teams that have good QB's knew it going into year two. We, are still having the same issues of arguing if he will be the guy. If the Bills belive that a QB is going to be better than EJ (and I think theirs a few) and he's available, and they don't take him, it'll be a travesty.
  9. Washington spent two high picks on QB's in one draft last year. Looked smart to me.
  10. EJ will start next year. If he doesn't show any progress, we'll have a repeat of the last decade, get a new coach, and blow it up again. It feels like we all argue about the same chit every off-season about EJ/ Fitz/ Edwards(who I think compares to EJ well)/ Losman or whoever. If a QB has a higher grade to the team than EJ did at the draft, they need to take him. Pittsburgh knew they had their guy, Indy knew they had their guy, twice. Washington knew, Seattle knew, green bay knew. It doesn't take long to see. I don't see it in EJ. He's just Trent Edwards with an arm.
  11. ah. I thought he only had two seasons as a backup. Didn't remember the first one. Carry on.
  12. are you referring to his two years as a backup? Or his first season as starter with 4000 yards, and 28 TDs?
  13. I don't believe in him. I also don't think he can't succeed. I believe he'll play better than last year, I just don't expect him to become an accurate, rhythm passer any time soon.
  14. according to you're link, trump is worth 4.9 billion to Cubans 4.5. That's a difference of 400 million isn't it? How much will the Bills be sold for?
  15. I don't think things change much for him. He'll be Mario's back up, and pass rush specialist on passing downs. He sticks with what was working for him.
  16. straight from #2 on the depth chart-to cut. Yep, I can see that.
  17. mainly because our own GM said that it takes 16 starts to judge a QB. EJ-10 Thad-6. We still have some games. Both guys had some bad fumbles, and to many bad decisions. I just like how Thad plays. He got rid of the ball quick when he was playing well. EJ. Man, perfect physical candidate. I just don't see a killer instinct. His best plays seem to on dump offs, after scanung the whole field.
