  1. Chargers and San fran SB. The comparison was between SD football and baseball between Boston FB and BBQ. Keep up buddy. You're like my wife.... will see the wrong point to make yourself. Anyway.... been to Boston a lot. My brother is an engineer for the city. Boston is a baseball town. FENWAY is hollowed ground. The Sox will always have a loyal fans base. The Pats* do not have the same history. Brady gone, fans gone. Can't wait.
  2. You're right... it was San Francisco. Not the Pats* but still san diego always supported the Padres. Could care less about the chargers. At least while I lived there from the late 80's to the late 90's.
  3. the Pats are not the socks. I grew up going to watch the Padres play. Nobody went to see the chargers..... except the year they lost the super bowl to the f-ing pats*
  4. So.... anyone going to say anything about McCoy's that directly led to a sack?
  5. My favorite thing is we use it when it's obvious were going to run anyway. We're going to see 8 in the box anyway. The advantage goes to us with the extra blocker..... when everyone knows were going good to run. Lynn uses it in a practical manner.
  6. I don't see any irony. At all. Their heath situations aren't even comparable.
  7. he is also a league leader in stops though! So you can't even make that comparison!
  8. New defensive play caller. New defensive scheme. Front 7 stops the run.
  9. ain't that the truth. It's going to take some more personnel changes too. To bad the 34 players we drafted are at home on game days. Didn't Marcel play defensive end in college?
  10. let mario go, let Manny Lawson go, stopped the hybrid of two systems and yes all the things you and I just mentioned. They have the defensive players sold. You can tell the plays are coming in faster and the players are not out of position, so much as we just don't have any defensive talent on the field in the front 7. That's not the case for the offense. We have talent. We had continuity. Why did we regress so bad? I'm not excusing the defense but at least there you can see tangible reasons to under perform. What's the offenses reason?
  11. They made DRASTIC change to the defense. We just had a horrible offseason of injuries and suspensions. The offence was paid out last year... had the same O line, same skill players and same OC.... followed by MASSIVE regression.
  12. okay, I agree with that.. but you have to like that they protected themselves with a contract they can cut away from if they have to. They learned. Just doesn't seem too clueless to me.
  13. did you really just say that they're clueless for protecting themselves against a potentially bad situation that they obviously learned from previously and created a creative contract to safeguard from?Fitz through 31 touchdowns last year. And he was definitely the better quarterback between him and Tyrod yesterday until the interception he threw.
  14. Jags Packers game and Jets Bengals games felt the same way too.
  15. I would like to see how the appeal goes. He was wrong unless he cleared it through the league. I haven't heard anything about a prescription for THC. That being said, the NFL really needs to take a hard look at there non performance enhancing drug policy. If there was a time for the NFLPA to take a stand about the drug policy, now would be a good time.
  16. lol, I'm not saying he's good. But he looked good enough to get a lead at one point.
  17. then I think it would be important to pass some sort of legislation that gets those lots policed the way they should, but not let them use the guise of terrorism to corrupt how we protect our civil rights.
  18. I don't think anybody does, but go about it the right way for the right reasons. When power and authority is given to law enforcement under the guise of terrorism, and it allows them to break civil rights in the name of counterterrorism, it opens the door to bigger problems. I think it's scary enough that most police departments look like paramilitary units now. Armed with assault rifles not wearing regular police uniforms. I once had a small Texas town sheriff tell me, "if stupidity was illegal I would take you to jail. But it's not."
  19. now that I genuinely won't argue. I figured he was going a handful of picks before... but not enough to really have an argument there.
  20. first things first. I'm not saying any of the sort. What I am saying is that the staff knew about this. They wanted the player. They made an informed calculated risk. They also they had a player ALREADY on the roster in Manny Lawson that they like. no, you're right. He slipped to us for no reason. You guys keep acting like the Bills drafted him without knowing about his shoulder. Stop getting hung up on when it was reported. It's not even a point I'm making. I'm done, ya'll have a nice evening. My daughter is taking me on a date tonight!
  21. A former all pro says the problem was the players, and we're still desperate to scape goat the staff. If players weren't buying in... their's not much the staff can do but get rid of the player.... And, um.....I think that happened.
