  1. Ha, yep! My buddy John (the Pats fan) was driving since he did not drink during the game (and Beerball and jboyst62 can attest that i fully imbibed during said game) and he sailed right into the pickup! Not only did he feel terrible about it, but he still had his Pats hat on when he did it, thereby incurring a bunch of taunting from those of us still left...just desserts for the outcome of the game I guess. Also, I forget the poster he crashed into but let me just say he could not have been cooler about how he handled it. It's taken me a while to shake out the cobwebs from the game and get back to posting, but to echo what mrags said it was awesome to meet and hang with all of you that were there on Sunday. I'm still trying to pry mrags' sweet sausage recipe from his cold icy grip and the comraderie and friendship of the tailgate not to mention the electricity and enthusiasm of the stadium is something that makes me proud to be from Buffalo and something my Pats fan friend is still talking about. Makes me sad I live 450 miles away. Can't wait till next year!
  2. Normal amout of draft picks = 7. I'll repeat, the Bills very clearly did NOT have their normal amount of draft picks, despite what you claim. I'm only offended by you calling other posters names, not by you purportedly "calling it like it is". You claimed letting Nelson go was a mistake, and it's pretty clear that it was not. No one is "hating on a fellow fan" by pointing out that your opinion of the Nelson non-tender was incorrect. It's very clear that the Bills have made some major mistakes in the past, and they do indeed deserve to be called out for those errors, particularly when they appear to make the same ones over and over again. However, letting Nelson walk without tendering him was not one of them. He's a slow footed, mediocre player that IMO had inflated numbers due to a pass heavy system. The cherry on the sundae is the fact the Plain Dealer was reporting as far back as 8/2/2013 that Nelson still had lingering pain from his surgery. Think the Bills medical staff might have had an inkling about that when the decision was made to non tender him? I try my best.
  3. Me neither. Maybe the timestamp had something to do with it. I did think it was wise, yes. My sense is that Nelson was a mediocre at best player with inflated numbers due to the the system you mention. That, coupled with the uncertainty around his health, and the published reports all spring and summer that he was dealing with recurring pain in the knee that he blew out in 2012, made it a wise desicion not to tender him. Further, I think it was smart to invest picks in a position that heretofore had been largely ignored. Just my $.02.
  4. Huh? The Bills very clearly did NOT have their normal amount of draft picks. Are you misrepresenting the facts to attempt to defend your mistake?
  5. Loosely translated - "I'm a pink hat. I can't name any impact players on the club but I know they ahh wicked pissah!"
  6. Here we have a guy from NorCal who chose to re sign here, who wanted to be here all along, and who tells the world how much he loves the Bills and by extension WNY. Juxtaposed against that backdrop, here we are finding fault with the guy. Why?
  7. How does this particular opinion contrast with the news of the Wood extension ? Btw if this is the former Badolbilz wow, what happened? Your posts here used to be revered.
  8. Lol. Aren't you the guy that proclaimed non tendering Nelson was a terrible move? Hee Haw.
  9. Good point. And yet they bricked on tons of draft picks and FA signings during that time. So, in your opinion, what has allowed them to compete at the high level you mention despite the many failures in drafting and FA signings?
  10. Lets get David Nelson back!
  11. Lets just move on from this guy. He's done with the Bills, and to be fair to him, I get it. I really do. However, to be fair to me, it's time for me to move on too. I want players on my club that want to be here. Good luck Jairus and thanks for the past production. Time to move on.
  12. Sounds like a civil infraction, no?
  13. No, it's being able to execute on a consistent basis. The Gailey Bills weren't able to do that.
  14. You need to look at him though the proper lens. He won Marrone's offseason team lifting competition. That's probably where all the fat came from.
  15. Keep looking dude. There is absolutely nothing in that article from Gailey complaining about other teams in preseason.
