  1. Yup. Mistakes are fine. Just don't want to see the same ones over and over. Today was big for Tie Rod. For the first time in almost 20 years we really might have something.
  2. The catch Sammy made on that ball Tie Rod threw just slightly out of bounds said it all about this kid. Just watch him elevate, compete for the ball, clamp it down with both hands, and land. So what it was OOB. That kid is a STUD.
  3. Thx KtD, just listened to Rex's presser, got it now. Must have missed it with all the chest puffing!
  4. Yep. He was calm, cool, and collected today. Didn't let his feet get happy and got the ball out. It feels like we have something with this guy. Of course there will be bumps, but if those bumps are used as opportunities to improve and not repeated then we are in the convo for a #2 seed. Bengals at Bills on 10/18 is looming large.
  5. Not so sure I want them to pay Glenn anymore. He got worked by Jones last week and this week was "ok". We''ll see. Right, so did Miller get hurt or was he pulled? Missed it with all the excitement. What's the scoop?
  6. 4th and 8 with 8:05 to play up 34-8. Stays with his guy long after the play got broken and fell down. Yeah, classic Gilmore.
  7. Easy. A tranny hooker pulling a rickshaw.
  8. I know what he meant. I was teasing him. He knows I respect what he brings to TBD.
  9. Thought you were a better judge of players Kirby.
  10. Who said that?
  11. Taylor was awesome today. What a performance. We have something with this kid.
  12. YardsPerPass has some great stuff up on his Twitter feed breaking down TT's day. He missed a lot of reads and a left the pocket a bunch of times when he didn't have to. He's still the right guy for the job IMO, but he has to be better than he was Sunday if the Bills want to compete for a championship.
  13. Yeah, like 1, maybe 2. Hardly a "certain segment". One can criticize Taylor's poor play without having an agenda. No need to be so defensive. Taylor was poor yesterday. His play didn't improve until the Bills were down by three TDs.It's just the way it is. He needs to be better than he was yesterday if the Bills want to compete this year.
  14. You are good poster Kirby, but I'm embarrassed for you with this comment. Again I ask, what does Taylor's play yesterday have to do with any other QB on this roster? Why would you even bring that up? Pathetic.
  15. I don't remember suggesting Taylor should be benched. I said he sucked. Can you link me to where I said he should be benched? Yeah, that's what I thought.
  16. John - I didn't say we have a bad QB situation. I said Taylor sucked today. I said he needed to get the ball out much quicker. I said he failed when it mattered.
  17. Fair enough, and a good point. Was looking for more, I guess. Should not have expected good QB play, I suppose.
  18. 3 seconds is generous. We don't have the OL to afford more. The decision needs to be made and the ball needs to be out. That's weak dubs. They are all our players. We all love the Bills. Yes, they are our players.
  19. [quote name="FireChan" post="3692076" timestamp="1442802858 I'll take that bet just for the bolded. Cool, were on. I'll PM you to follow up.
  20. No. I'm looking for better QB play than I got today. Is that bad? Isn't ok to criticize our players when they brick?
  21. Ok. You take him throwing passes after 3 seconds for the next 14 games. I'll take him throwing them before 3 seconds for the next 14. I'll keep track, but won't say a word about till week 17. Like your odds, or mine?
  22. Can you please quote the post where he was called to be benched? I'll be waiting. Accountability is ok, especially on a team that has SB aspirations. The QB play today was not up to par.
  23. Hey dudes - come on with the EJ stuff? Really? All people want is for Taylor to be into his third read by second number 3. Are we asking too much from a fifth year NFL player? That's standard, and the Bills have WAY to many weapons for read #3 to be blanketed. Open your eyes.
  24. Yep. What was the score then? I find it funny that ppl are bringing up other QBs on this team. That speaks to your feelings, but mine. Work that out on your own. Here are the facts. We have to demand and expect better play out of whomever is the QB Bills. Today's QB play was unacceptable. Our team is minor league. We will continue to be so until some QB steps up, gets rid of the ball even when nothing is there, and knows when to find read #3 inside of 2-3 seconds.
  25. Guys - when was Taylor effective? When did he lead the offense? Am I off base by being critical, or did he fail when it mattered? Maybe I'm missing some quality QB play of his when the game was still on the line? Can someone pleas point out effective drives?
