  1. I don't remember suggesting Taylor should be benched. I said he sucked. Can you link me to where I said he should be benched? Yeah, that's what I thought.
  2. John - I didn't say we have a bad QB situation. I said Taylor sucked today. I said he needed to get the ball out much quicker. I said he failed when it mattered.
  3. Fair enough, and a good point. Was looking for more, I guess. Should not have expected good QB play, I suppose.
  4. 3 seconds is generous. We don't have the OL to afford more. The decision needs to be made and the ball needs to be out. That's weak dubs. They are all our players. We all love the Bills. Yes, they are our players.
  5. [quote name="FireChan" post="3692076" timestamp="1442802858 I'll take that bet just for the bolded. Cool, were on. I'll PM you to follow up.
  6. No. I'm looking for better QB play than I got today. Is that bad? Isn't ok to criticize our players when they brick?
  7. Ok. You take him throwing passes after 3 seconds for the next 14 games. I'll take him throwing them before 3 seconds for the next 14. I'll keep track, but won't say a word about till week 17. Like your odds, or mine?
  8. Can you please quote the post where he was called to be benched? I'll be waiting. Accountability is ok, especially on a team that has SB aspirations. The QB play today was not up to par.
  9. Hey dudes - come on with the EJ stuff? Really? All people want is for Taylor to be into his third read by second number 3. Are we asking too much from a fifth year NFL player? That's standard, and the Bills have WAY to many weapons for read #3 to be blanketed. Open your eyes.
  10. Yep. What was the score then? I find it funny that ppl are bringing up other QBs on this team. That speaks to your feelings, but mine. Work that out on your own. Here are the facts. We have to demand and expect better play out of whomever is the QB Bills. Today's QB play was unacceptable. Our team is minor league. We will continue to be so until some QB steps up, gets rid of the ball even when nothing is there, and knows when to find read #3 inside of 2-3 seconds.
  11. Guys - when was Taylor effective? When did he lead the offense? Am I off base by being critical, or did he fail when it mattered? Maybe I'm missing some quality QB play of his when the game was still on the line? Can someone pleas point out effective drives?
  12. Looking for a player that can be effective when the game is still up for grabs. Too much to ask?
  13. Agreed, and said perfectly. Does this team have that kind of time?
  14. Exactly. He sucked today. I'm not saying he's the reason we lost either, but I can't think of many things he did to contribute to the Bills winning. He was tentative, indecisive, and slow.
  15. How can any of our receiving options be difference makers if our QB isn't one? Guess I'm following the McCoy Bills
  16. Yup. Ball needs to come out. Throw it out of bounds. Throw it in the dirt.
  17. Why was a comeback needed? Because the Bills could not score over and over in Q2 and Q3? What's with the apologies? Our offense sucked balls, why are you guys not facing it? Getting sacked EIGHT time blows. What the heck? Dude we are cooked if out QB isn't capable of being a difference maker.
  18. Even if the reads were covered and the players were covered, the ball needs to be out. Really?
  19. That's lofty and unreasonable. You are reaching for the stars. Feel bad for ya. Yup. Exactly. Taylor was bad when it counted. When we needed him.
  20. Check the game log. Check the field position NE had in the first half. Look, it was in the whole team. You can blame anyone you want. All I know is that there was a key division matchup in our building today and our QB was not a difference maker.
  21. I would expect Taylor to deliver the ball within 2-3 seconds. I would expect the Bills with their skill players to have at least ONE matchup every pass play that is to their advantage. I would expect Taylor as a fifth year vet to EASILY recognize it. The holding the ball was unacceptable.
  22. So did Rob Johnson. We don't have that kind of OL. The ball needs to come out. He failed. He needs to step up his decision making. He proved today his nimble feet can't make up for poor OL play. He got dared to beat someone with his arm and he could not do it.
  23. John that's fine but we have a slimmer learning curve. The rest of the team is built to win RIGHT NOW. I'm not expecting him to be Brady. I'm expecting him to not take 3-5 seconds to deliver the ball. Anything over 3 isn't cool, and I counted at least 15 times where 3 was doing him a favor. Unacceptable.
  24. Over and over Taylor held the ball. OLine was bad but a QB shOuld know his OLine sucks and react accordingly. Taylor sucked today.
