  1. Agreed Boyst. I expected Woods to get a ton of looks today with Harvin playing the Watkins role. There either wasn't time or it wasn't schemed. Woods is a rock solid player and he was underused today.
  2. Yep. Glenn had his guy taken care of. If that was Incognito's assignment, he should have gone high. Why give the refs a chance?
  3. If the Bills bench Taylor they would be in full panic mode. That's not the right call, he's a competitor and a guy who can win us games. They need to cut the poop with the penalties and they need to get more stout up front on offense. Getting Watkins back on the field won't hurt either.
  4. I know this is a sensitive topic around here and I'm not proclaiming to be steadfast in my opinion but I thought the value of Sammy Watkins was on full display today. Granted I have not seen the all-22 so I don't know how the NYG handled their coverage but based on what I could see it sure felt like not having Watkins on the field severely stunted Buffalo's passing attack. Taylor, while harassed more than we would like, was constantly forced to look away from his WRs most of the game. Without a threat like Watkins to deal with it felt like the Giants' secondary was able to allow their front to play more aggressively than we have seen a team play the Bills so far. I have heard a lot of talk about Watkins needing to put up better numbers and I certainly agree with some of that, but to me it felt like not having his skill set on the field today hurt the Bills in so many ways. Every team scouted him. Every team knows how good he is. He got veteran WR respect from a coverage perspective as a rookie. How much of an effect did not having him out there have on today's outcome? Thoughts?
  5. If he indeed said that he was proven correct. One penalty led to a NYG TD and two more negated Bills touchdowns. Come on man. That's horsepoopy. Minor league.
  6. Maybe. But the Bills got beat up physically on offense today, all over the field. Not good for a team with playoff hopes.
  7. Yeah. Taylor could have been better, sure, but the Bills' OL got physically beat up front today. It's a major concern.
  8. Or not. Pretty much right in line with his regular season numbers. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MannPe00.htm
  9. Darby has been fantastic. He's gonna have his bricks, like all rookie CBs do, but so far so good. Props to the Bills for targeting him in R2 and having a savvy enough feel for the draft that he would be there (remember Leroi's post before the draft even started?). Strong scouting and an even stronger feel for the overall board.
  10. Yup. Mistakes are fine. Just don't want to see the same ones over and over. Today was big for Tie Rod. For the first time in almost 20 years we really might have something.
  11. The catch Sammy made on that ball Tie Rod threw just slightly out of bounds said it all about this kid. Just watch him elevate, compete for the ball, clamp it down with both hands, and land. So what it was OOB. That kid is a STUD.
  12. Thx KtD, just listened to Rex's presser, got it now. Must have missed it with all the chest puffing!
  13. Yep. He was calm, cool, and collected today. Didn't let his feet get happy and got the ball out. It feels like we have something with this guy. Of course there will be bumps, but if those bumps are used as opportunities to improve and not repeated then we are in the convo for a #2 seed. Bengals at Bills on 10/18 is looming large.
  14. Not so sure I want them to pay Glenn anymore. He got worked by Jones last week and this week was "ok". We''ll see. Right, so did Miller get hurt or was he pulled? Missed it with all the excitement. What's the scoop?
  15. 4th and 8 with 8:05 to play up 34-8. Stays with his guy long after the play got broken and fell down. Yeah, classic Gilmore.
  16. Easy. A tranny hooker pulling a rickshaw.
  17. I know what he meant. I was teasing him. He knows I respect what he brings to TBD.
  18. Thought you were a better judge of players Kirby.
  19. Taylor was awesome today. What a performance. We have something with this kid.
  20. YardsPerPass has some great stuff up on his Twitter feed breaking down TT's day. He missed a lot of reads and a left the pocket a bunch of times when he didn't have to. He's still the right guy for the job IMO, but he has to be better than he was Sunday if the Bills want to compete for a championship.
  21. Yeah, like 1, maybe 2. Hardly a "certain segment". One can criticize Taylor's poor play without having an agenda. No need to be so defensive. Taylor was poor yesterday. His play didn't improve until the Bills were down by three TDs.It's just the way it is. He needs to be better than he was yesterday if the Bills want to compete this year.
  22. You are good poster Kirby, but I'm embarrassed for you with this comment. Again I ask, what does Taylor's play yesterday have to do with any other QB on this roster? Why would you even bring that up? Pathetic.
