HAHA! Yeah you start the bidding high. In all reality we would be thrilled with a 4th rounder and clearing his money off the books. Had to try though....

Brian Brohm Released

Graham is about one year away from being a good prospective starting QB in this league. He has the physical tools to do it and our coach Mike McCarthy runs one hell of a QB school. Watch out for GH in the future, he may actually be something. -
He signed a deal. Ted Thompson and his agent had the majority of it worked out prior to cutting him. Ted was just being safe so he couldn't get stuck with the $10.5 million. Great move. AJ was never leaving, he has stated that he would take a pay cut to stay in GB.

He is one of my favorite players on the Packers roster, I even had the Packers Pro Shop specially make his jersey for me the second we drafted him so I could be one of the first to get his jersey. He is a heck of a team leader. He is energetic, and he moves on the ball. He is currently under contract for about 5-6 million a year and the Packers will trade him before releasing him IMO. You may remember that he was the person that started the whole "I am not in the picture for the 2010 season" talk before the Super Bowl. People were mad because he was diverting attention away from the game and stirring up controversy. He tweets a lot and some people don't like that because he is an open book. WHATEVER he is feeling everyone knows. Where some players have a filter on twitter he does not. I would love it if he would play on the OLB position of our 3-4 because he has the speed and that would give us an option to get all of our best players on the field. We have Hawk and Bishop in the middle and Clay Matthews on the other side but have placed 6 different players there last year (Because of injury). But we don't have a player that can make an impact at that position to compliment CM3. Barnett has never played outside even in College. And when we were still in the 4-3 it was brought up to push him outside and he through a fit. Maybe he would be more open to that now that he sees that 3-4 OLB are the playmakers in this format. He is best in the 4-3 MLB position. But could work anywhere. Let's work out a trade for a 2nd round pick for him, huh?

Wow I guess the Browns stadium is pretty bad huh? And I wonder why Jacksonville can't fill a stadium, think it's because of all the snowbirds that live there? PHF- Glad to hear you liked Lambeau. Agreed that the Metrodome is z crap hole. Worst place I have ever been to watch a football game and it's NOT because it's the Vikings. I want to go back to Arrowhead and we play there again this year but we have to get working on seeing all the stadiums.
-
So Qualcomm isn't good huh? Our options are limited this year because we have been to KC and ATL. We were either thinking of San Diego or Carolina this year. Have to get to all stadiums some how....
-
Yeah we just went there this year. Like I said we tailgated in ATL but it just wasn't the same. I have yet to see anything like Lambeau yet but I hear B-Lo and Arrowhead are the closest that compare to it. I have been to Arrowhead and it was pretty cool, but not there yet. I need football to be here now.

Just saw this and thought it was interesting. As I have stated before my buddies and I go to at least 1 away game per year so I love to hear about other stadiums. Why is RWS so low, just because of updates? Tell me about the experience if you could, any insight would be greatly appreciated. I have been to: #1- Lambeau Field (Of Course)- I consider this the mecca of any other stadium. Yes, I am bias but I haven't seen anything like it yet. #4- Heinz Field- It was all right. This was one of the stadiums I had to go to. We lost in 2009 on a last second pass to Mike Wallace in a 37-36 game. The fans weren't very good since they were struggling, and they razzed us quite a bit AFTER the game. Before they were saying how we were gonna beat the crap out of them..... #12- Soldier Field- Outside of the stadium is the ugliest thing I have ever seen but the inside was very nice. Fans were quiet and awful to us as expected with one of our biggest rivals. #13- Arrowhead Stadium- My favorite stadium so far. LOUD. Frienly fans, great tailgating. I want to go back. #18- LP Field- I love Nashville. I thought LP was pretty darn cool. Fans get pretty loud. Good tailgating as well. #24- Georgia Dome- It was alllllll right....... We tailgated in a gravel lot that we paid $60 for and it was kind of ghetto. REALLY ghetto. Stadium was cool, I don't really like domes, but they were nice and it was fun. #31- Metrodome- We call it the Dumpty Dome. What a crap hole this place is. Awful all the way around. I was surprised we didn't get a lot of crap in the game, mostly because we outnumbered the Viqueen fans. I will never go back, thankfully because mother nature hated this place too and will hopefully bulldoze it and move the peices to LA. So that is my stadium run down. Thoughts on different stadiums or thoughts on my reviews?

COME ON MAN!!!!!!! Well the 90's were good......
-
Good point, we have Justin Harrell that we have been holding on to the past 3 years.... He has played in 14 games in the past 3 years...... Pretty good for a #16 overall pick....

HAHA, just posted this at my forum. I said that all the guys would be clammoring for him. He has played in 9 of the last 48 regular season games. Too bad, the guy is an absolute beast when on the field, but he just can't stay healthy. I would stay as far away from him as possible.

Dang, should have specified, Favorite other "NFL" team.

So I started this topic over at my forum to drum up conversation and find out which teams are liked. I thought I would bring it here as well. "We have done this before but it has been a while. I know that several of you will say PACKERS PACKERS PACKERS Number 1-32, but who do you have a soft spot for, or even root for when the Packers are not playing or when we are out of it? This could be teams you don't hate, or whatever. I would have to say both the Bills and the Chiefs are teams that I like to see do well. The Bills because it is a small market team that plays in the cold. Their fans are also great and they have a tradition of winning. The Chiefs I have liked ever since I went there in 2007. Their fan base is passionate and they have a strong following. So those are the teams that I don't mind or even like to see do well when the Packers aren't playing them or have any implications around them. Thoughts?"
-
Yeah I have a feeling that we will be in the playoffs for years to come. Ted Thompson built this team and it is young and hungry. I am just hoping that they don't let the whole world champion thing go to their heads, but I am confident that we have the veterans in place to slap the young guys upside the head when they start to slip.
-
That is awesome. I usually try to do the same. I have went to 6 other NFL stadiums and you really get an appreciation for the visiting fan. I have been treated very good at some stadiums, and EXTREMELY poorly at some. Good to hear that you had a good experience.
-
Well I am 28. I was pretty young in the early to mid 90's but I remember always kind of liking the Bills. In Green bay, I would have never told my parents that or I would surely be removed from the family. I loved watching Cornelius Bennett, Thurman Thomas, Jim Kelly, Andre Reed, Pete Metzelaars, Bruce Smith, Daryl Talley, and Don Beebe. The small market team/cold weather captivated me as well. And I have always followed The Bills halfheartedly. I love the fact that the fan base is passionate and that the tailgating is amazing. It says a lot about a fan base when they sit in freezing cold temperatures to support their team. The time will come and the Bills will return to a powerhouse in the NFL. Build through the draft and don't go crazy in Free Agency. The draft is the building block of NFL teams. Don't get mad when the Bills trade back when you want a certain player. As much as it hurts to say, they know better than we know. Trust in them. I will be rooting for my AFC team whenever the next NFL season is for sure! Let's Go Bills!
-
Yeah, pretty much. But we know that unless we trade up we probably won't have a shot at him. I could see the Pats snagging him at 17 but I could be wrong. (Most likely). PHF- No worries, the NFL is a revolving door when it comes to teams doing well and poorly. The Bills will be on top again in a few years. The Bills were in a lot of games this year. I got to watch some of the games because I have NFL ticket. You will get back. OOOOO, No can do on that one. Hawk really came into his own this year. Plus we are most likely trading Barnett away, so we could work something out with him. Hawk has youth on his side and he is one of the most hard working guys in the locker room. He had 111 tackles this year and has lead the team in tackles 3 out of his 5 years on the roster. He is not the #5 pick that we expected, but he has been so strong as of late. So if you are interested in Barnett we may have something here. He got injured early this year but is averaging over 100 tackles a year and is a leader on the field. We just have a lot of depth all the sudden at the ILB position with Bishop stepping up.

BJ is what Ted Thompson calls "Packer People". He is a high character guy who takes part in all of the off-season workouts and does anything for the team. So yeah, I would say that he probably worked his butt of in the offseason. But I would have to say that Dom Capers helped him out the most. He always comes up with exotic blitz packages that makes the opposing offensive lines and RB's look in 10 different directions. We got great play out of our LBers this year which helps out the line a ton. BJ just gets great push up the middle and rarely lines up over the center so you never know which way he is coming. We love him in GB. Yeah, Rodgers is doing everything in his power to start his own legacy and he always steers clear of talk of "That other Quarterback". He is respected so much in GB because he is such a team player and energizes everyone around him. Well maybe we can strike up a deal here one way or another. We need a return man in the worst way, maybe trade us Spiller? I wanted to see him in Green and Gold.
-
HAHA, I married into them................ HONESTLY I LOVE HER, But it is a GREAT perk!
-
I know it is super new, but The Joker has to be up there right? Thurmanater. I loved that guy.
-
Why So Serious- So some of you guys actually want Newton? Ick. I would steer clear. Yeah, I believe we go OL. We need a LT to replace Clifton after this year. He made the pro bowl this year but will be 35 in June and has bad knees. We drafted Bulaga last year in hopes that he could play LT but he was beat out and is better fit for RT. (Everyone rants that he has short arms, TRex syndrome). So I truly see Ted Thompson trading down which I wouldn't mind at all. I trust in him. Raji is a beast. I was stoked when we drafted him. He is really a force in the middle and doesn't get enough credit. I could see us either going with a OL, or going with an OLB to compliment Clay.
-
Weeeeeelllllll, I guess. But Flynn is a star. Brohm was cut. He just lacks the ability to make the reads in the quick paced NFL.
-
Oh it's great to hear you say Titletown. I have heard so much crap from Steeler fans on how Pitt is the true Titletown it is sickening. So is it a deal, a 2nd round pick for Flynn or what?
-
Thanks guys, I hear that the tailgating is phenomenal at the Ralph. I am super excited. So who are you guys thinking you will take in the draft? I could see you going Von Miller, or even Peterson. Both are the best at their position in the draft. If your defense gets better, and your trade for Matt Flynn you could really compete this year.
